Wonderful place to stay! Very nice little campground in Weed, CA. We originally were just stopping for the night so I had reserved a 50 amp pull thru, but we had some problems with our fifth wheel and my husband wanted some shade to work on it. Karen was nice enough to juggle reservations and get us in a 30 amp back in that had shade. Plus, we ended up staying for two nights. Karen was very accommodating and helpful and we really appreciated it! The campground is fun, has some outdoor games, a small dog park, and a community fire pit. And visiting the goats and chickens was definitely a bonus! I highly recommend Trailer Lane Campground and would definitely stay there again! read more

I can't say enough good things about Trailer Lane RV Park and the owners/hosts, Karen and Jay. First of all, a quaint little park tucked into a wooded valley in Weed, CA. (just north of Mt. Shasta). Special kudos to Jay who, after some unforeseen circumstances, had to shuffle some of the site reservations. We weren't pleased with where we landed and when I voiced my displeasure to Jay he immediately fixed the situation. He picked me up in his cart and showed me every possible site until I found one I liked. It ended up being right next to our initial reservation. The point is, Karen and Jay go above and beyond to make their customers happy! read more

We stayed here on two separate occasions while RV-camping up and down the PNW coast this summer. The campgrounds were very nice, in a beautiful location, and well-maintained. The owners live on-site and you can tell they really care about the place. They are welcoming and sweet and when we happened to stroll by on an evening walk, they offered and let our kids help feed their cute goats! We felt very safe here and we are definitely bookmarking it for future stays! Highly recommended! read more

Other reviews talk about helpful accommodating staff but that was not our experience. When we tried to talk to them about the problems we were told they were miscommunications and our fault. So we spent the night with a sheet of ice at our front door and no 50 amp power. We had hoped to spend Christmas Day in a quiet, friendly spot but decided to get back on the road. We left by checkout time but they still charged us for the second night. RV travelers beware.......and it is NOT quiet because despite being in the trees the freeway noise is very noticeable. read more

Little small on the sites, but still enough room to have a decent stay. Owners were very accommodating as I had a boat and extra vehicle. The lady that helps out around the place was super helpful and got all my questions answered. I would suggest a big sign out front saying stop at store for check in. We had a spot with great shade, they have a few in the open for the sun worshipers. Had a very nice common area, lighted, bbqs comfortable seating . Fenced dog park. We enjoyed staying at this spot. Not only did they let us check in past 6pm and had our spot ready, She also took the time to meet us to guide us into our spot. Jay let us check out a little later so we were able to go play golf down the road from them. They were very friendly and such a nice spot and we will love to come back and stay again! We have a 36 foot 5th wheel and had no issues getting in or out of the campground. read more

What a nice RV Park. The park was clean, until the bears got into the garbage, to bad we missed them. The site we chose was wonderful for our trailer. I hiked up the hill for the view and it was great, to bad we couldn't have gotten our trailer up there. We will be back and hope to meet the owners next time and maybe see the bear. Enjoyed our visit so much we stayed 2 extra days. Clean restrooms, nice level camp spots, friendly and helpful host, who was always busy walking around helping campers, cleaning up, or working on the campground. Nice trail system (and road) to the top of the hill , where we had a nice view of Mt Shasta. Also on top of the hill was a nice picnic spot and future tent spots. read more

We were really excited to book a private suite with a hot tub at this location. When we arrived, we went into the office to check in. I told Karen my name and she laughed and asked if I saw the clipboard outside. I did not prior to walking in but then got the one for the Ponderosa Suite on the way out even though it had another guests name on it. The door to the suite also had a tag for another guest although we were sure we were at the right spot. The room was nice, the animals were cute, the hot tub felt great but it was a very uncomfortable stay at the suite due to the lack of privacy and all of the noise and lights from the owners home next door. While in the hot tub, the owners home windows were open and they had several loud guests, a party it sounded like but also there was a very angry man that kept cursing, specifically using the F-word at least a couple dozen times within a few minutes. We left the hot tub at this point and decided to go back in later after things may have calmed down. We went back in the tub later and the owners exited their home with at least 6 other people and were turning on lights outside, laughing and talking loudly, and walking around right outside of the hot tub. My child went outside close to 10pm and asked some people in the animal pen if they could please keep it down as he is special needs and very sensitive to sound and energy. He said he was ignored and the noise continued for a little while still until we decided to go back inside. Advertising this as a private suite is greatly exaggerated. It's only private if you lock yourself up inside. The large list of instructions inside were a bit overwhelming and not explained well but we followed all the rules to the best of our knowledge and ability. There was a place outside the room to leave laundry and dishes and we removed all our trash and placed it in the trash can by the laundry building as instructed but the owners gave us a bad review saying that we shoved our trash in the wrong place and left trash and laundry all over which is completely untrue. They also said that whatever we cooked smelled horrible and they had to use chemicals to remove the smell. We brought and ate only pizza and never heated it so this does not make any sense. I left a good review on airbnb for them and sent the owners a private (not public) message letting them how we feel about 11 days after our stay when we returned from our trip. After sending this polite personal message, she left a bad review for us which I suspect may not even be for me and my family as it didn't reflect the truth of our stay and the fact that they had someone else's name down on the reservation. The owner said in the review that they did have guests over for the weekend and we should have messaged them if we had a problem with the noise. We were there on a Wednesday evening only and did not think to message a complaint at 10pm - it's none of our business what they do and there wasn't a "problem", we just went inside so we could enjoy peace and quiet and that was resolved. There was also a strong odor of liquor or alcohol in the shared lobby area between the suite and their home which was a little nauseating to smell but the smell did not reach inside our room but maybe that's what they were smelling too since we didn't do any cooking as they suggested. The owners also said in the review we acted like we didn't want to be there and we were the most unfriendly guests they've ever had. Very strange as there was never any kind of encounter between us other than when we asked for Karen's help getting into the room because the door wasn't opening or closing properly. She helped us and was friendly and we never saw her again for the rest of our stay so she must be describing someone else, perhaps the guest's name that she had on our room. As it turns out for the door locks, you have to wait about 3 seconds to open the door which was never explained - we had to figure that out through lots of trial and error. The rule book also says no parties or excessive noise yet they didn't adhere to this themselves. I thought it was also very odd that there was a game board for drinking games outside too where your bottle cap lands determines how much you drink. We left a short, polite note in the guestbook complimenting the place and made a suggestion for less noise from their home and her review said that my log was mean-spirited and ruined their guestbook. Truly bizarre - I thought guests were encouraged to sign it and share their experiences with other guests. It seems to me that they don't really care about their guests, especially children, or about honesty or the comfort of their guests. I will not be recommending this place to anyone or stay here again after the behavior and rude suggestions and review from the owners. Prior to her review yesterday though, I totally would have. I wonder what made her wait 12 days to complain about us? read more

We just had a great experience at Trailer Lane. When we arrived there was a bit of a mix-up with the sites, I texted the hosts and they responded immediately fixing the problem and actually improving it! Then they gave my kids ice creams for our "trouble", which it really wasn't at all. Such kind people, the campsite was very tidy, well equipped and well organized. It felt like a little intimate gathering with just enough privacy. Not to mention it was very quiet. If we ever pass through again we'll definitely stop by! read more

A very small, cute little RV Park with all the amenities one needs when RV-ing. The pull through sites fit two rigs so hopefully you are located in a manor that facilitates pulling through or you'll need to perfect your backup skills. The bathrooms are clean and have showers as well but with full hook ups we chose to use our own shower facilities. There was a gravel road that led up the hill with what appear to be boondocking sites with an awesome view of Mt. Shasta (see photo). We did not inquire about them but we suspect they are available if one inquires. My only negative is you are near the I-5 so you hear the truckers and their jake brakes heading north. Most were considerate so we still got a good nights sleep with our windows open. Will stay there when passing though in the future. read more

This was our 1st time towing a trailer and we arrived around 7:30 as it was getting dark. Rick, the owner, spent the next hour with us helping us get set up, which included lending us 2X4s and chock blocks. The next day he told us about local hikes and attractions and warned us about a high wind advisory which resulted in a change of plans. Rick and his wife Chris could not have been nicer or more helpful. The grounds are nice, the bathrooms and showers are clean and they have a spectacular view from their trail behind the grounds. What a wonderful little park. I hate to tell people about it because then there won't be a space for me! It is a couple miles off the freeway but the great thing is you don't have to backtrack as the road in front connects to the freeway from the left and right. The park is beautiful, rustic and peaceful. The proprietors are warm and friendly. He guided us right to our spot. We had full hookups with cable tv. The GPS does not get you to the right spot but the owners gave us fine directions and cell phones there work fine too. read more

A 60's style park with modern hookups. Park on the lawn under trees in most cases. The owners are down home friendly. O.K. so a train goes by about 9:30 AM and returns about 3:00 and there is I5 traffic noise at times, but it didn't interfere with our enjoying 4 days at this park. The 1+ mile drive on an old highway sets the mood. If you are a Snowflake requiring perfection drive on, but for a true RV experience it's a luxury. We stayed here in a motorhome. read more

We stayed 1 night and absolutely loved sleeping under the tall pine trees. As we entered, the first thing we saw was a deer eating an apple from the tree (beautiful). The owners were the most wonderful hosts and made sure we were all set (went out of their way to help us park the RV so that it's in the perfect location for our slide-out).
