We had a very unique request and they exceeded our expectations! My husband is from Argentina and he wanted a traditional Argentinean asado (BBQ) to be served to all of our guests. Custom Catering spent the time to come over to our house, learn how to season, prepare and serve the meat and took detailed notes in order to recreate it on the wedding date. It was a hit! To my surprise the owner herself was working by herself clocking out some to-go orders all while making my food and chatting with me about her story through the food industry. She let me know that the number one selling item is their burger, so naturally I had a hamburger with lettuce, onion and pickle - no mustard or ketchup needed! Our server was kind, attentive and courteous. The ambience was warm and inviting. That's where the positive review ends. I was in the mood for smoked brisket and, possibly, some ribs. And fortunately for me, a Combo Plater was on the menu. I ordered it. The meal came with two very thin slices of brisket, coleslaw, tatter tots, a piece of cornbread and something else I cannot describe. The brisket was about 30% fat and dry, the cornbread was delicious, and the ribs were NOT edible. They were so tough, I literally could not eat them. I passed one of my ribs to my son who also struggled! Finally, for an "Ale House", they sure didn't have a handle on their beer offerings. They did not have a beer menu, just a scan code on the main menu. No problem, I'll check. That's when the server informed us that they "didn't have many of the beers on the list". She went on: "tell me what you want and I'll see if we have it". So, trial and error on the Ale front, I see no reason to return.
