Myself and 14 friends had an event to attend at noon last Sunday, so we decided to get breakfast beforehand. I called the Buzz Inn a few days before and gave them a "heads up" that we'd be there - although they don't take reservations. When we got there at 10:00 a.m., they had a table completely set up for us! After everyone got there we ordered our food and it was out so fast it was literally amazing. We were all asking "how'd they do that?" To top it off, breakfast was excellent. Is it the Four Seasons? No. Do you want a solid breakfast fast for a great price? This is the right place for it. This place has gone downhill. Food is not as good or as plentiful as it once was (read small portions). Now days they really try to nickel and dime you for everything little thing and they are sneaky about it too. For instance, when ordering a burger and fries they enthusiastically ask you if you would like anything to dip the fries in; what they don't tell you is they are going to charge you extra for that. That's right, an extra charge for mayo. This is unacceptable and is not the norm for most other restaurants. But this sneaky charge is their daily practice. I have personally seen this many times and now only use the ketchup on the table. At no point do they disclose the extra charge but yet they ask every time if you want dipping sauce which is just dishonest and certainly not hospitable for a business in the hospitality industry. On my last and final visit to this Buzz Inn my guest did ask for mayo for their fries and they even charged us for the mayo, but it never made it to the table. We assumed since it did not show up, we would not be charged but they did in fact charge for mayo that never arrived. They also charge a transaction fee if you use a credit card which is just not acceptable in todays day and age. Should we also pay an electric fee, or maybe a garbage fee, or dish fee? Or maybe perhaps the owner should pay their own bills?? I look forward to the new restaurant that will take over this space when this Buzz Inn location closes in 2027 as they don't get along with their landlords either. The ladies that work at this location are just downright mean to their customers. There is definitely a us (staff) versus them (guest) mentality. I have overheard the staff speak very negatively to and about the guest and other coworkers. After my last trip here, I am done and will not be back, after many, many years of going here. read more

Haven't been here for a few year, but this used to be a real good restaurant. Stopped in for late lunch today. I had a rubin sandwich and my wife had a club sandwich. She almost couln't eat her sandwich. I wish I hadn't eaten mine. A good rubin is piled with beef. This barely had a couple of slices on it and they looked like they came from a package at Safeway. We will never go back. It is just too bad. As I said, it used to be one of my favorite restaurants. read more

This is my 4th or 5th time dining here, with most of that during breakfast. Honestly it's just extremely overpriced bland food. Not terrible but only worth the specials. It's typically been pretty good service. But today, I waited 50 minutes for a waffle and a piece of chicken.... I had to walk up to the bar to get a refill on coffee. Terrible experience at Buzz Inn Steakhouse in Snohomish. It took forever to get served and I was double charged for a Ranch Water drink at $21.00. It was house tequila ... and tasted terrible. I think it was just 2 shots of house tequila and soda water. I initially called and they said they would refund the double charge but never did. I called back today and now she told me that's what they cost, despite what I was told and what's on their menu and website. It should have been $10.50, not $21.00! I won't be going back there!! A little disappointed with my breakfast this morning. I ordered the Logger Special. Noticed the price had increased again. My fried eggs were cooked perfectly and were so delicious however I only received 2 eggs. Maybe I am wrong but I thought the menu mentioned 3 eggs. Also I ordered all bacon instead of bacon, sausage, and ham. Only received 3 shriveled up pieces of charred bacon. Honestly, this was one of the worst meals I've had in recent memory. I fully regret coming here. We stopped here on a whim when we couldn't find parking in downtown Snohomish. These guys have a spacious parking lot! I probably ordered wrong - I wasn't very hungry so I ordered a bowl of chili. I have no doubt that this bowl of chili, which cost around $10 plus tax and tip, was just a can of Nalley's. We were seated immediately towards the back near the bar. There was buckets for water dripping from the ceiling on tables and the floor. Definitely dated and needs some up keep. Was very disappointed in the food during my Mom's birthday dinner. Unfortunate to see how much this place has gone down in terms of quality over the years, but maybe it was just the kid taste buds growing up eating there. Swear it used to be great though. I ordered the "Chicken Fajita" but ended up with a taco bowl looking dish with what looked and tasted like pre-grilled lightly seasoned reheated chicken. lol. My girlfriend ordered the bbq mac and cheese but it was so soaked in oil that it was completely unedible. My little sister ordered the New York Steak (most expensive item on the menu btw) and when I asked to try it, I was met with the taste AND texture of cheap and unseasoned hamburger meat! This is one of my favorite breakfast places in the North end of the Seattle metro region. It's not fancy, but the food (and value) is great, the service friendly, and you get to sit next to an airport taxiway watching small aircraft and skydivers doing their thing. First the positive. We are very happy that the Buzz Inn Snohomish location will be open for another year. It's one of the inly restaurants that caters to the locals. This Buzz Inn location is a central meeting spot with our friends. This location has the largest parking lot and outdoor seating area by far than any other location I've been to. The lounge is a decent size and gets packed during football season. The nice thing about Buzz Inn is that you know exactly how your Bloody Mary's and food will taste regardless of the location. Buzz Inn has standard operating procedures down. On this visit I ordered the BLT Sandwich with a cup of Clam Chowder for $9.99. The bread was think and nicely toasted. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and firm. The bacon was generous (4 slices) and crispy. Delish sandwich. The chowder was hearty but could have been served at a hotter temperature. As others have stated, this location is pretty disorganized. I think the issue is that they are having trouble getting folks to work here. You have to order at the counter and then seat yourself . Get your own water, coffee, etc. They only bring food to the table, at least on the patio. Food is decent for diner food. The patio is actually nice, at least in good weather. We asked why and she said "we have signs posted about it." We asked her to show us and absolutely no sign about it. She then says "look it up on Washington liquor law" we looked it up and we couldn't find a single thing about it. At this point they are making up their own rules, or the lady simply doesn't want to serve it. She's got red hair, she probably hates her job. Not sure why the low star rating for Buzz Inn. We've always had great service and location is fab with tons of parking. Where else can you sit on a giant covered patio and watch planes take off and skydivers land?! I rest my case. I'm always up for some good alliteration so being able to order a Big Bodhi Beer is a plus too (it's my go-to IPA). Totally family friendly which is also a win! All day breakfast? SIGN ME UP! I've only been for brunch where you order at the counter, but heard dinner you get full service at the table. I'm a frazzled mess for any walk up ordering situations especially with extensive menus. Otherwise you do get the full service all day: food brought to you, attentive service and removal of plates etc. versus waiting until the party is gone. Pro Tip: any time the Mariners have a televised home game, you can get a Coors Light and a hot dog for $5 (and avoid Seattle traffic ;) ). read more

What a great place to watch small planes take off and land and skydivers float down from the sky under canopy. Oh yeah, there are train tracks feet from the parking lot. Buzz Inn has a old timey sports bar feel. Plenty of space inside and out.There is a nice patio right off the plane parking area and you get a ringside seat to watch the airplane activities. We didn't order drinks, but there is a large bar that looks well stocked. Yes, it could use a remodel, but we liked the comfy feel of the place. As tourists, we felt very welcomed. Our servers were attentive and friendly. Everyone was wearing masks properly and seemed to be Covid-careful. The burger was better than most and the fries were the best we had on our trip. An added perk is, that while parking in downtown Snohomish during lunchtime is difficult, the Buzz Inn parking lot had lots of open spaces. read more

The burger had plenty of blue cheese, great bacon and all the fixings you want. No complaints. Is it a gourmet burger? No. It's a airport diner burger. Although I am glad they were open they were certainly disorganized. No clear information whether you were to seat yourself? Where to order? How to buy coffee or a soda? Who to ask? Very disjointed! The restaurant does not have good ventilation. I would have appreciated the doors being opened. The outside dining was very non inviting and could use heaters as well. As for the food the best thing was the cup of coffee. The Tsunami although sounded good was swimming in grease. One meal was served without cheese and they had to bring us a container to sprinkle on top. It's diner food at a premium price! I expect more when I pay $14 for eggs and potatoes. Wow, I guess YMMV with this place. I know I visited this place since it's close to where we live w/o Yelping first and my experience has been pretty good. Enough that I've been back for repeat business with the same experience each time. Basically I take it for what it is. It's not the Metropolitan Grill or Daniel's, it's The Buzz Inn Steakhouse in Snohomish near the local airport and farms. That being said, my impressions of customer service were pretty good. One, everytime I've been, the place always seems busy but we were always seated promptly and served just as prompt, with regular follow ups and fill ups by the wait staff. I've gotten a lot less...way less...from places like Diamond Knot Brewery just to name one...Melting Pot in Bellevue to name another. Two, food, well, they don't serve Kobe beef, but when I'm in the mood for a reasonably priced and well prepared steak, their rib-eye (FYI in my Ruth Chris Review I mentioned Buzz-Inn not having Rib-eye, but they do-my mistake-AND it's a thicker cut than the afore mentioned) does the job and it's pretty damn good! Tender and they prepared the way I asked, almost a perfect medium rate...unlike say, Ruth Chris SteakHouse where, despite the uppity atmosphere I paid twice the price for a so-so cut of steak that was over cooked (no clue what medium-rare is)...just to name one. But whether we've been at the Buzz-Inn for dinner or breakfast (love that here too), the portions are pretty decent and I never walk away hungry. It's definitely a local hang, but the ones I've ran into seem friendly and definitely add character to both the restaurant and bar as does the Airplane themed decor. Just glad that I didn't Yelp this place before going or else I might not have ever gone based on reviews alone. I guess sometimes it's good to just give a place a go and be your own judge. read more
