There are two big rooms where room where TigerX classes are held such as Zumba, Bollywood, Yoga, Kickboxing, etc and you can look online for the schedule. And if the rooms are empty you can use it as a quiet place to stretch or do your own workout. Or you can play ping pong, but you it will cost you a few cents (Pacific Cash accepted) to get a ping pong ball but you get to keep it. If that that doesn't interest you, there are two racketball courts and you can rent rackets and balls for free. And probably the biggest highlight (*no pun intended) is the rock climbing wall and there are student instructors there to guide your way up. What I don't like about Baun is how the hours are short on the weekend and during undergrad breaks - which sucks for pharmacy students who are here year round or the community that use this gym regularly. Also, at the beginning of this year they took away the stairclimber :( and put in some other mock stair climbing replacement machine which I don't like at all. Overall, it's a pretty good gym for Pacific. It's "free" for Pacific students since its included in the tuition. I believe its around $25/month for alumni and I don't know the price for the regular community. It can get pretty crowded after students return from break but after a week or two it dies down quite a bit. There are showers and lockers available so you can freshen up afterwards.

That was so much fun, take the sexiness out of you :) and building the strength using every inch of your body. Highly recommend it at least once sometime in this lifetime is what I say. Then I switched it up, tried out bootcamp with Nicholle, how I never thought I'd ever try this workout and guess what? I loved it :) Nicholle knows just how to push you to your limits because she wants you to make the best of your time there. Love working out with a small group, you learn to push each other. I did this for 4 months or so. I had been back off and on and then I did a drop in at the pole fitness class with Sofia and that is when I had met Cyndi Barros who eventually started teaching her specialty, booty-booty-booty!!! I've been hooked since spring of 2013. I absolutely love this lady, she's done more for me than she could ever imagine. I love working out especially when it's close to competition to some girls, they look so good and seeing them doing their poses, you can't help but get so encouraged. I love coming to this place.

Each day of the week challenges you in different ways and Thursdays are for toning! I haven't reached the level where I feel comfortable with the extra toning weights, but as I become more comfortable with the routines I find I'm able to jump and step high, squat lower and add those extra steps to make the dances more challenging. One of the great parts of these classes is that it's a judgment free zone where everyone is ready to have fun and get their sweat on. I have definitely missed a few steps and never feel out of place or discouraged, just pick back up on the next beat and keep going! Elvia also has Herbalife at her location and mixes up a great pre-workout drink as well as some post-workout drinks. Everything I've had has been $6 and they're really filling. A great post work-out meal replacement when you don't want to deal with dinner after class. She offers 9:00am and 6:30pm options and your first class is free! Sarah was really friendly, and inviting so It kinda took some edge off. She made sure to introduce me to the regulars which also helped me feel welcomed. This is a different type of clientele from some of the stkn, In-shape/24 hr fitness, $30-$40 a month paying customers. I firmly believe you get what you pay for and alot of times you see women walking around with makeup, earrings, and revealing workout clothes. Men are in groups gawking at most of the time. I get unmotivated by these distractions and want a more outlined, intense workout with other people who want the same. The 3 regulars I met tonight were just that type: friendly, motivating me while i was working out and congratulating me After. Ok sounds corny to some but to me that's camaraderie (must be my military background kicking in...but I like that stuff!). The workout: an hr of constant cross-training type stuff: sprints, rope climbing, sit ups, jumping on boxes off and on, jump ropes, rowing, etc. I'm sure all of these have names but im so tired I can't remember. It ain't easy let me tell ya, but I know it's going to be fulfilling. I'm thinking 3-4 days a week and throw in some in-shape days. My trainer today pushed me to finish but wasn't overly pushy. She knew when I looked like I was seriously pooped and needed to stop. For my military brothers and sisters, I was told they have a military discount (Woohoo I find out tomorrow). Overall First Impression: 5 stars Trial day workout routine: 5 stars Staff (only met one so far): 5 stars for her Price: ooooh find out tomorrow Try it out...can't hurt to see what they can offer you!
