We had a lunch there in the back room for my club. Waitress was fabulous, she had no trouble moving the tables around so they were just perfect for our group. She also got all orders exactly correct and they were brought pretty close to the same time, which is hard when you are a large group. I had the two hot dog with fries plate. I ordered them with just about everything on them but the standout was the chili. Don't get me wrong, the hot dogs were delish and the buns were toasted just so, but the chili was amazing. It was also piled so high, one of my friends asked if I was having tacos, great lunch, great service and super reasonable prices. I'll be back so save some chili for next time. I forgot to mention my friend had the grilled pimento cheese sandwich, which she has had before and loves. So if that sounds good you'll have to remember to order it because it's not on the menu, you just have to know. read more

First time here! We were passing thru the city and wanted to stop and eat. We just came here because of yelp and the reviews but even so I was not sold in the place. Well bottom line... the food was just amazing! My Reuben was fresh, delicious and the fries so crispy! My hubby had the grandma sampler! Big portions, so delicious! I'm glad we came and can't wait to come back! Four star because they need to improve the drink service and refill more often, other than that it's great! read more

I wouldn't eat here at ALL better off to spend 12$ at food lion and cook it yourself you'll have better service at home than this place.Then some of the women are very rude when working that act has they have no professional tendency's. Never use the silverware they don't wear gloves when they wrap them. Never drink out their cups they don't get air dried or hand dried which causes bacteria to grow even if you can't see it. The food ain't good it's barely average I'm telling you now go to McDonald's or stay home cause those out weight this place as a option anyday.... read more

The local diner and it definitely has that feel! Friendly folks greet you as you walk in. You seat yourself and menus and silverware are already set up on the table. We had our teas in a minute after ordering. The sweet tea with fresh lemon was perfect - not diabetic sweet! I ordered the calabash shrimp and flounder which arrived within 10 minutes of ordering and was amazing. Lightly breaded the shrimp were tender and the flounder flaky. Hush puppies are slightly sweet but good. The Mac and cheese is really cheddars and the stewed apples tender and perfectly seasoned with cinnamon and sugar. My partner had the pork chop which was very tender and juicy and the cornbread was moist and flavorful. His black eyed peas were perfectly cooked. Our teas were never empty either. My husband and I have found our new weekend breakfast spot. A friend of mine recommended this place and we tried it this morning. The food was excellent and everyone was so friendly. I had the pancakes, which were better than IHOP and Cracker Barrel. My husband had the western omelet and it was delicious too. The veggies were grilled which added to the flavor. This is definitely our new spot. I am excited to try lunch and dinner too. This is a must visit for anyone looking for a good ole fashioned breakfast. read more

I am so thankful we have the Tramway Diner in town - no matter what night I eat here the food is always good love the Prime Rib or Prime Rib sandwich when it's on special and seafood on Friday night is great. Also a big fan of the burger!!! read more

It's like Cracker Barrel but a lot better. You get more food for your money and the staff is friendly. Order is always right and I never have to worry about missing anything. I also don't have to fight traffic to get here which is another plus read more

Had the garden omelet after reading great omelet reviews... The spinach was clearly previously frozen and the mushrooms were canned. :-/ The pancakes were pretty good. My husband said the biscuits were good, and the sausage gravy was ok (he's a biscuits and gravy connoisseur). Was glad they had wheat bread. But, the only fruit they had (for our 2 year old) was canned peaches. :-/ The service was quick and efficient, and fairly friendly. We probably won't go back though. read more

So far only tried this diner once but the food and staff were amazing! I went here with my family for breakfast one morning and upon observing the massive amount of cars parked outside, it is definitely obvious that it is a very popular place. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and they were to die for. The pancakes were huge and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of chocolate chips! In fact, most of us ordered some version of pancakes with the exception of my brother who got biscuits and gravy. I didn't try them but he said that they were probably the second best that he has ever tried! (Second only to our great aunt's recipe, of course. ) They definitely looked pretty tasty! The wait staff was very friendly and attentive even with being as busy as they were on a Saturday morning. I will definitely go back soon! read more

I'm giving this place 2 stars because at least they have vegetables and I didn't eat any meat. It seems to be doing well so I guess the meat items must be good. I think the vegetables were all either canned or frozen. Carrots came in a weird jelly substance. Broccoli was cooked to mush. Macaroni & cheese was similar to golden corral. Fried okra was fine and biscuit was pretty good. I just don't understand why places can't serve fresh vegetables. Tea was good and service was great. They serve breakfast all day. Two stars because the people are very nice. Service was friendly. However, the food is not good and the kitchen is very slow. We went in on Saturday around 11am. No wait for a table, but busy. We both had breakfast. The food was uninspired and under cooked. Runny eggs, hash browns " straight out of the freezer bag", everything was bland. The kitchen is painfully slow... we waited 40 minutes for our breakfast to be served. When it was served, it was disappointing. Looks like everything just came out of the microwave. Really, nothing special about this place. Go elsewhere. read more

We don't really have alot of places maybe none at all where you can get eggs Benedict.. but I have sat in and ate at this diner as well, and everything I've gotten has been delicious! Just had Sunday lunch here. There were 7 adults and 3 kids. Everyone's food was amazing! Some had breakfast and others of us had lunch. I had the beef tips and rice. Best food I have had in a restaurant for as long as I can remember! Prices were very reasonable. The waitress was also great. This was our first visit and she was very patient and positive while waiting for my son to decide on his food. My husband also commented to me on how positive she seemed throughout our meal. Great experience and we will return soon! Large portions too, several of us brought home enough for supper. read more

Country fried steak was about a two rest was fine) my brother enjoyed his (meatlovers omelet with two small, actually pretty big pancakes). Although the eggs Benedict was regular over medium fried eggs and not cooked in water like Benedict eggs are suppose to be, but still ok. Stopped in for a late lunch after a dirt bike event. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. Wanted to order green beans (I'm picky about how they are cooked) and ask the waitress if they were good and she said "yes, they are actually really good" so I ordered them and she was spot on.
