Tran was incredibly helpful, informative, kind and fast! He beat the quote from the other company we reached out to and was worth every penny. We bought a new house two years a go and our hvac system was no longer under warranty. Tran helped us make an informed decision of whether to repair or replace. Of course, we're without A/C in mid June and Tran was able to be there the very next day and worked with our schedule!! I would highly recommend him to any of my friends or neighbors! I have been needing to replace my AC unit that was using the old freon. Tran was referred to my by my neighbor who was impressed by his quick service and great price for a quality unit. I ask Mr Tran and 2 other companies for quotes and recommended equipment. Mr Tran was very patient with me because I asked a lot of questions and had very specific requests. After researching the equipment and then his reviews, I decided to use him. I let him know exactly what i wanted and he did as requested. He kept me informed on the details of the work and addressed any of my concerns. He pointed out items that needed to be corrected. He cleaned up the work area, registered the unit on the spot. So my air conditioning stopped working Saturday at 1 AM. I had seen Tran recommended elsewhere online. I like that he is local to the tri-cities area so gave him a call at 10:30 AM Monday. He met me at my place around noon. He diagnosed the problem quickly and offered to fix my old unit or replace it with a new one. Since my old unit was almost 25 years old and I don't plan on selling any time soon I decided to upgrade. Tran installed the new unit the same day and at a price that could not be beat. And it's a quality brand a well. My experience with Tran was overwhelmingly positive. read more

My residential AC unit stopped putting out cold air last May. I called Mr Tran late on a Thursday and he and two techs came out the next morning and showed me the faulty parts (it was a 20-year-old Bryant). He didn't charge me for that visit. He sent me quotes for different brand replacement units to pick from. I picked the more expensive, but more energy efficient, Daikin. He sent two techs all the way from Decatur to East Point to install it later the same day (it was a Friday and they showed up at 7:30pm). They were done installing the new unit in an hour and a half! Since then, I have saved $100/month on my utilities compared to last year - and if you know how much utilities are in East Point, that's significant! I will definitely use Mr Tran again and refer him to everyone in the tri-cities area. read more

My hvac system stopped working months ago and I've had many companies come out to look at it and try to repair it or give me a quote to replace it. My system was a very difficult unit to replace and very old. I heard about Mr. Tran from a friend who had needed her hvac replaced too. Mr. Tran was attentive and friendly. He and his crew came and replaced my unit within a day and made sure everything was up and running. His pricing was significantly better than anyone else and now I have heat and air in my home after so long of feeling like I was hitting my head against a wall with other contractors. Mr. Tran and his son came earlier than promised and installed a new AC unit in our home. We had been suffering from 95 degree temperatures e due to the old unit going out. Mr. Tran was prompt, efficient, and thorough with his work. He was very kind and treated my sister and I like family. He even had time to sqeeze in discussions about the fact that he wanted his son to progress and succeed even more than he had. It was nice to meet someone that held the same values I had for my daugther (returning from California that evening). Needless to say, it's been 2 weeks now, and we are cool, calm, and collected with our new AC unit. No issues whatsoever. Don't waste your time with this company. Mr. Tran, someone we've known for over 15 years as a 'family friend' from when he was in school, installed a new Furnace for us and the ignitor failed within a year which he fixed for a fee. Then the gas valve started getting flaky and would randomly stop. This usually happened when we went on vacation and were away for a few days. Him being a 'friend', we understood we may have purchased a lemon furnace unit and continued to work with him but what finally put us off from this company was Mr. Trans latest pathetic responses to these issues. Instead of replacing the valve, Mr. Tran kept coming up with gimmicky work arounds that would only resolve issue temporarily. Mr. Tran made it seem as if he was doing us a favor to 'fix' these problems while still charging us more service fees. Then he just stopped returning our calls. I ended up calling another HVAC servicer and he replaced the faulty valve which should have been done before I paid out $140 for last 2 'service' engagements to Mr. Tran. The funny thing is we would have paid Mr. Tran as we did the new HVAC servicer, I just needed it fixed for my children to have heat. Do yourself a favor, find a company that will stand behind their products and service. read more
