Theresa is awesome and her deep tissue massages are quite effective. She manages the time efficiently. The ambience is relaxing and clean.

I got a Groupon for a 60min oil massage and it was great. My masseuse was very firm which I prefer.

Nice new place, very clean and cozy. I had a good therapist who can go deep and strong if you ask for it. Will definitely go again.

Review for Immersion Spa ‍…read more I absolutely loved this place, and to this day, I still miss it. When I lived in the Bay Area, I was a faithful and loyal customer at Immersion. It became one of my favorite self-care rituals. I would bring family and friends, and I went regularly--about once every quarter. It was something I always looked forward to. There is currently no Korean spa in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I live now, and the closest option is in Atlanta. So yes... boo-hoo. Nothing quite compares to this experience. What made Immersion special was the sense of freedom and relaxation the moment you walked through the door. The spa is thoughtfully organized, very clean, and beautifully maintained. You store your belongings in secure lockers, receive a waterproof wristband, and then the entire experience begins. I always arrived at least 90 minutes before my massage so I could fully enjoy the amenities. That extra time was part of the magic. My favorite features included: * The hot tub and invigorating cold plunge * The wet sauna and dry sauna * The gentle, calming warmth of the Himalayan salt room * Complimentary roasted tea and water * High-quality bath and shower products in the women's area * A peaceful, well-run environment with clear structure and cleanliness standards Everything felt intentional and relaxing. My go-to service was always the Fusion massage, which blends shiatsu and deep tissue techniques using organic coconut oil. The therapists were incredibly skilled and intuitive--they knew exactly how to work out tension and restore balance. Some of the best massages I've ever had were here. Over the years, prices have increased slightly--as they have everywhere. I remember paying around $100 before COVID, and later seeing it closer to $130. Even so, the value of the experience made it worth every dollar. I was there hook, line, and sinker. A few practical notes for future guests: * Parking is limited and shared with neighboring businesses (including Kumon), so timing matters * The spa has separate men's and women's areas * No outside shoes are allowed inside the spa * Clothing is optional in designated areas, which is standard for Korean spa culture * Plan to arrive early to fully enjoy the amenities before your service One service I personally never tried was the traditional Korean body scrub. I watched others experience it, and while many people love it, it looked a little too intense for my taste. That said, the massages and spa amenities are absolutely exceptional. If you're considering a membership, it's worth exploring. This is the kind of place that becomes part of your routine once you experience it. I still haven't found anything in the Southeast that truly matches the level of service, atmosphere, and overall experience of Immersion. I keep looking--but this one set the bar very high. Treat yourself. You deserve it.

We arrived early so we could take advantage of the showers, saunas and hot tubs. The locker rooms and sauna areas are divided by gender and are full of amenities. After that we met with our massage therapist and had the best 85 minutes of deep tissue work. Post massage we headed back to the separate locker rooms and had full access to the amenities again. Check out was positive and our friends at the front desk were just as supportive and kind. I've seen other reviews of other Spas harassing clients for tips or add on services this is not the case at Immersion. Additionally I left my water bottle at the spa and when I contacted them they had it waiting for pick up. I recommend this place for daddy daughter dates, solo self care or a couples retreat!

My therapist Yuki took extra care, focusing on those areas with a firm touch that hurt a little bit, but in a good way! She also recommended ways to stretch and care for myself post treatment. I really wish I could come back regularly. But the next time I'm in town, I will definitely make time to stop in again!!

I needed to be done with the massage by 10:50 AM and out the door by 10:55 AM since I live within walking distance. At 9:20 AM, I received a text asking if I could move my appointment to 9:55 AM. I agreed, but clearly replied that I needed to leave by 10:50. They read the message. I arrived around 9:52 AM and found the door locked. The business hours posted said they open at 10 AM, so I thought it was odd that I was able to schedule an appointment before opening. After waiting a few minutes, someone let me in. I got into the massage room around 9:58 and then waited another few minutes before the massage started. At that point, I could already tell things were running behind. To be fair, the massage itself was excellent. She did a great job, and I genuinely enjoyed the service. I kept trying not to stress about the time because I had already communicated my schedule and assumed it would be honored. Unfortunately, when the massage ended and I checked the time, it was 11:05 AM. I was now late for my meeting. What made it more frustrating was that I had specifically communicated my timing needs ahead of time. Another thing I found a little unusual was paying for the service upfront. Tipping is done afterward through Venmo, cash, or card. When I told her I would Venmo the tip as soon as I had internet service again (you know how Palo Alto can be), she seemed concerned and appeared to want me to stay until it was completed. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, but I was already running late and had to rush home. Overall, this was a mixed experience. The massage itself was very good, and that is the reason I would consider coming back. I just wish there had been better communication and more effort to respect the timing request that I clearly communicated in advance. Unfortunately, the stress of *literally* running back home took away from some of the relaxation I had just paid for.

Were friendly and were sure to use your preferred strength, but (how I would prefer it) they weren't chatting with me during the massage. They give you a little tea at the end as well. Very fair prices for the quality I thought. I will say that you must go into this massage knowing that the facility of Arisa is nothing special. It is in a strip mall like office building area. Inside they have it looking nice, but you can hear a little bit of noise from the nearby businesses at times.

I think that's so helpful. I was paired with Sonia and she was amazing! She made sure that the pressure was not too much a few times and that was nice. Working on my back, she could tell what needed to be focused on. Afterwards, I paid and then received a small cup of non caffeinated tea. Such a wonderful touch to the experience. My only feedback which I recognize not much can change about this is the rooms are in separated curtains, not doors/walls. So it makes it feel not 100% private with sounds and potential for someone to just peak through the curtains.
