Yesterday I scheduled an appointment for today at 9:50 AM. I specifically chose that time because it worked with my work schedule. I needed to be done with the massage by 10:50 AM and out the door by 10:55 AM since I live within walking distance. At 9:20 AM, I received a text asking if I could move my appointment to 9:55 AM. I agreed, but clearly replied that I needed to leave by 10:50. They read the message. I arrived around 9:52 AM and found the door locked. The business hours posted said they open at 10 AM, so I thought it was odd that I was able to schedule an appointment before opening. After waiting a few minutes, someone let me in. I got into the massage room around 9:58 and then waited another few minutes before the massage started. At that point, I could already tell things were running behind. To be fair, the massage itself was excellent. She did a great job, and I genuinely enjoyed the service. I kept trying not to stress about the time because I had already communicated my schedule and assumed it would be honored. Unfortunately, when the massage ended and I checked the time, it was 11:05 AM. I was now late for my meeting. What made it more frustrating was that I had specifically communicated my timing needs ahead of time. Another thing I found a little unusual was paying for the service upfront. Tipping is done afterward through Venmo, cash, or card. When I told her I would Venmo the tip as soon as I had internet service again (you know how Palo Alto can be), she seemed concerned and appeared to want me to stay until it was completed. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, but I was already running late and had to rush home. Overall, this was a mixed experience. The massage itself was very good, and that is the reason I would consider coming back. I just wish there had been better communication and more effort to respect the timing request that I clearly communicated in advance. Unfortunately, the stress of *literally* running back home took away from some of the relaxation I had just paid for. read more

Don't get me wrong, if I wanted a deep tissue massage then this massage would have been perfect. But i asked for the most relaxing service and it didn't happen. Had to keep reminding him to slow down and and do less. I felt like I was a car being wiped down. Ambiance is very nice. Very nice clean place. I would def try this place out again. Service was done on 11/7 @830pm for a couples massage. First of all, there was no receptionist when we arrived -- we had to wait about 5-7 minutes before someone finally came out to ask what we needed. Then, after being led into the couples room, we had to wait another 15 minutes before the massage therapists showed up. At the time of booking, I specifically requested 1 female therapist for me and 1 male for my husband, but two females came in instead without any explanation for the change or the delay. The place itself is new, clean, and smells nice, and it's aesthetically pleasing, but the quality of service was very poor. The massage felt rushed, and the therapist assigned to me seemed to just copy what the other one was doing -- she didn't even do a proper finishing touch before ending. For a $190 couples massage, I expected much better. Unfortunately, this was a lesson learned, and I would not recommend this place. read more

I got a couples massage for my parents for Valentine's Day weekend - I got them a 1 hour deep tissue massage with cupping and walking-on back add on for their back pain. I paid for it via the link they sent me along with a 20% tip ahead of time so when my parents got there it would be easy for them. When they arrived, the front desk person kept saying that it was not paid for and after speaking to them on the phone for 15 minutes back and forth they found the payment I made online. I wish they did this after my parents massage rather than before because they were a bit frazzled also after being almost accused of not paying. They did give my parents additional 15 mins massage and one more add on due to the stressful situation which was nice. I would have appreciated if the staff checked thoroughly to see if payment was processed (which it was) before telling them it was not and the whole thing would have been avoided to begin with along with the stress of 15 minutes being on the phone. Otherwise, my parents loved their experience and felt like it was worth it. read more

I've had several surgeries on my leg, and the muscles have always been tight. Lia did a great job. It was sometimes a bit painful, but it really helped loosen things up. I have been here a couple of times now and it has helped my leg heal along with the great care that Lia and her team have provided. I feel much better. I highly recommend them. I had an incredible massage here from Lia - i have had a very painful neck all week, am taking too many pain meds per Doc and wanted to see if a massage could break up the muscle spasms / pain. Today is the day after and, well I am pretty sore from the massage but hopeful I will improve. She was very thorough, knowledgeable, and strong for such a little gal! Save yourself the aggravation. When I first contacted them yesterday, their number as posted on their website was wrong so I walked over to check out the amenities and let them know. The man at the front desk was nice enough, thanked me for the info and encouraged me to make an appointment on the website which I did. Since the website emphasizes the value of longer appointments and since I also wanted a hot stone massage which they only offer as a $15 add on for the back, I opted for 90 minute Swedish plus hot stone. I received a text about 30 minutes before reminding me of my upcoming appointment which was nice. I arrived about 5 months before the session was scheduled to begin abs the woman at the front desk could not find my name or any information about my appointment. She then said made a call and asked me "60 minutes before massage?" I gave her the details of the treatment I had booked and showed her the online confirmation. I offered to come back another tone and while the communication was not very clear she said yes they could do the treatment I scheduled while I was there. I was taken to a room which looked clean, as did the entire place and told to lue down face down on the massage bed. Then I waited. She came in maybe 2:10 and put 4-5 medium warm rocks on my lower back. I asked: well are theeemore rocks? What about shoulder are? She responded "later and simply- left. About 20 minutes later, after one of the stones had fallen off my back and the rest had gone cold, having not heard or seen any anyone, I got up to leave. If this early part of the experience set the tone for the rest (and I figured that it had...) I wanted no more of it. I'd say do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are plenty of other places to get massages on the peninsula, including real hot stone massages, and why waste your time and money. Update: the management in noting that I left before receiving any real service reached out and voided my CC payment and offered a free 60 min service for another time. I doubt I'll make use of that but I do appreciate the reach out, the voided charge and the offer. read more
