I informed the nail tech I was getting engagement photos at the start of the appointment. I got to my nail appointment 10 minutes early and I asked for 3 coats. She said okay with no reservation or hesitation. I then allowed for my nails to dry for over 25 minutes at their salon. She sent me off. I live 5 mins away and my nails all completely smudged. I had to cancel my other plans for the afternoon and return to get my nails redone a second time. Now, it has been almost 2 hours (for a simple non gel, non dip manicure). I ask to speak to the manager due to my displeasure with the service. He explained they don't like to "push their customers to not get 3 coats". Aren't they the experts when it comes to nails? Second time around, I chose a different color (thinking maybe the first one I chose was just an older polish) and only 2 coats. My nails have STILL smudged. I should've just bought my own nail polish and done my own nails. Will NOT be returning.
