First and foremost, everyone here is super nice. Thats why it saddens me to write this review.. I got referred to this place through a friend so I went in for a pedi and a gel mani last Sunday. My pedi was done by Crystal, which took an hour.. and in the end Phong has to come fix the paint so it wasn't so streaky and fix some of her other mistakes that had occurred during the beginning stages of my pedicure.. I then got a gel manicure done by Phong. It was okay but as you can see by the photos that it's only Wednesday and my paint has chipped in 2 different spots. I wasn't given a manicure either, he went around and cleaned up my cuticles but that's about it. Crystal and him both repeatedly asked if I wanted designs on my nails but I repeatedlyyyy said no because I'm a plain Jane kinda gal. My nails were filed down completely to little nubs, now chipped and I spent basically $50 and have never been so unhappy with a final result. There also was no 1:1 with any of them because they were FaceTiming somebody the whole entire hour and a half I was in here. I'm not please and I will not go back and they now have heard from multiple people that they are not getting proper results from customers that are now not coming back. I will say that they probably specialize in full sets and designs from what I've now experienced and have seen on other review sites. read more

lacks experience. Both techs were very friendly and pleasant. However,I left the salon with sharp edges on my nails which were also very crooked. My nails were rushed at the end because the other tech couldn't finish her customer's nails. He didn't know how to do a manicure as there was no soaking or care around my nail bed before applying the gel. Wasn't worth $30, do not reccomend. read more

Kim and her son were gracious and accommodating. My feet have never been softer and her waxing was thorough. Spotless and no smell of solvents that is common in other salons. So glad they are in Westfield . read more

Hues is one of the best nail salons I have ever been to! I decided to treat myself to a pedicure and gel manicure today and I was not disappointed. There were plenty of color options for gel manicures. I picked this robins egg blue and chose a similar color for my toes to match. The gel colors are all on rings in similar color groups. However, the bottles of polish for pedicures/non gel on the wall were not in any sort of order. The pedicure was great! The water was warm; he was gentle but through. He asked me quite a few times if I wanted a design. I was skeptical at first but I love the way it turned out! He stamped palm trees on my toes and added little nautical stickers on my ring fingers. I believe it was $20 for the manicure and $25 for the pedicure and I think this was a fair price. I definitely recommend Hues! read more

Everyone here is so kind and every time I go in, so it's really hard for me to say this. I got my nails done here 16 days ago. I have lost 5/10 nails so far. I would've understood if it was 1 because shit happens but 5 nails.I got there about 15/30 mins early just so I could figure out what I wanted and I was hoping I might've been able to get in a little sooner. I sat and waited for 15/30 minutes as well as an additional about 15 minutes past my appointment time. I understand that they are busy but if there is only two nail techs, why are they booking so many people at once? I asked Kim if they could do a cursive "g" on my ring finger nail and she said "yes of course!" If I knew she was going to put a stamped uppercase G on the top of my nail I would've asked for the other design I had in mind. I also asked for coffin shaped nails and I got lumpy square/rectangle nails. I don't know if they were just rushing but unfortunately lost a customer. read more

After reading all the good reviews about Hue's me and my mom decided to get a pedicure here, when we arrived everything was extremely clean and the staff was super friendly. One lady started my moms pedicure first and was basically more than half way done before anyone came over to me, mind you we did have an appointment and they were pretty busy so no big deal but it is nice to get it done at the same time. So the best part about a pedicure in my opinion is getting the lovely massage with lotion! Well here at Hue's they don't do that. I was kind of waiting for them to do it and maybe thought they would have after they applied the nail polish but nope. I mean I would have just painted my own nails at home or went somewhere else and paid the same price to get a salon experience. So we left pretty disappointed and really wished we went somewhere else. But they were really nice and we really enjoyed the vibe so we decided to return the following week for gel manicures since it's so close to home. Well, 4 days later and we both have completely chipped nails. I have about 5 chips and my mom has about 4 chipped nails. I'm a bartender so my job is very hands on so I was just going to take the loss and blame in on my hands always being washed and in water etc. but my mom has a desk job and wears gloves when she washed dishes so for her to have chipped nails is pretty weird. That being said we won't be returning, sucks because we honestly did like the staff a lot. read more
