She also gave me a few pointers on what i can do at home or on my own time and with that, we just started talking and she walked me through alot of the process which i loved. She was incredibly knowledgeable, strategic, and every movement had a purpose. She definitely kicked my butt (which for 8 days out or surgery, it was to be expected) but it wasn't painful at all. She was able to get all the fluids moving in my body and it was very relieving. When the service was done and I stood up to change back into my clothes, I could notice a huge difference with a reduction of swelling. Even as I'm sitting at home, I expected to feel kind of crappy after because of all the toxins being pushed out but I feel great. I can not say enough good things about Angella. I booked the therapeutic and talked to the massage therapist about my needs. She was able to get everything I needed done. Kristin had excellent knowledge and very good client interaction. The receptionist was kind and had me fill out a massage intake form so it would be personalized to me. I chose to get a deep tissue thermal massage. They have women's and men's locker rooms to change into a robe and sandals. One thing that I didn't love was how small the women's locker room was. When there are three or more people in there changing, it's a little bit too close if you don't know the other people there. After changing, they have a relaxation room where you can calm down and wait for your masseuse. I was a little bit uncomfortable waiting, as when I entered the room, there was a man who was fully dressed and on his phone while sitting there. As a woman in nothing but a robe, it made me uncomfortable that he was on his phone just sitting there. I'm sure he meant no harm, but I would have liked it more if phones weren't allowed. It would be more relaxing. The massage itself was wonderful. I had Mira, and she did a great job releasing some of my tension in my shoulders and neck. She did some nice stretches during it too. I especially enjoyed the heated packs she put on my back and neck throughout. After finishing the massage, you are offered water, champagne, or a mimosa, and can go back to relax in the relaxation room.
