If I were able to select no stars, then that would have been my rating. First, I will start off with their manager, ANN. From booking my appointment to checking out at my appointment, she has been the MOST NASIEST, RUDEST, (I have other words that are completely inappropriate) person on the face of the earth. My favorite and most memorable ANN moment: I was checking out and my services totaled $100. I had 20% off certificate that still needed to be applied to the price. She told me my grand total was $90. I told her that that did not make sense and was incorrect. She argued with me back and forth while slamming her fingers on the keyboard stating she was just going by her computers total. And because that's what the computer told her, that was without a doubt what I owed. I asked if I could speak with someone else. She still proceeded to slam fingers on keyboard. I even broke it down for her on my phone calculator. The fact that she had to swear up and down, left and right that the computers math was correct and not even question it was completely PITIFUL. 20% of 100$ is probably the most simplest and basic math skill any adult with a single brain cell could do. Anyone who has any type of basic education, should have been able to look at that and said, "hmm, the computer isn't calculating this correctly." Instead, ANN continued to proceed on with complete attitude. I honestly cannot stress how much easier 20% of $100 could be. And by no means am I strapped for money. This is completely about principal and how they treat their patients. It's actually humorous in the fact that at the end of my checkout (aka ANN'S bitter battle with me) the owner Bill came up and was standing next to ANN and she all of a sudden became sweet as pie. Clearly, by the level of "competence" and "skill" demonstrated by ANN, you barely need a completion of 6th grade certificate to hold a managerial position at Tranquillo Vi Day Spa, She is a complete embarrassment to the company and by far the RUDEST, MOST IMPOLITE, ILL-MANNERED individual's I have ever come in contact with. She has ZERO customer service. I would continue to inform all potential customers about their "manager" ANN, but hopefully by this point you have decided to take your business else where. Additionally, while sitting in the waiting room for the 20 minutes after my appointment was scheduled, the employees flew in and out from the back and walked around just complaining. I could care less if you complain but that's something you should do behind closed doors and not in front of customers. Not really good "juju" to have a healthy, successful, thriving business. I do have to say the girls who did my nails were sweethearts and I feel terrible that they have to work under that kind of management. I would rather pay 5 times the amount Tranquillo Vi Day Spa charges for services then to ever give them another dollar; particularly any money that would go towards ANN'S paycheck. But hey, ANN'S paychecks may help her work on improving her most basic math skills; let alone, most basic life skill. I work up the street from this "spa" and will not hesitate to inform patients of this spa's shortcomings. read more

I just happened to read some of the reviews on here and most of the couldn't be further from the truth about Tranquillo Vi. Abbey R., Peter D., Courtney S., Nicole etc sound angry and these reviews are not true. Nicole states that Tranquillo Vi has ALL NEW PEOPLE, THIS IS FALSE. There are maybe 2 new people in the flow but no major turnover. My nail technicians and estheticians are the same people I have went to since 2010. The quality of the services for the pricing cannot be beat. Tranquillo Vi is very clean and if anything I notice only positive improvements under new ownership. Before things were broken (such as the toilet paper holder) but not anymore. They now have wonderful lotions& scrubs especially the vanilla sugar) that they make on the premises so it's always fresh and affordable. Soy all natural candles are also for purchase and very inexpensive! Ann at the front desk is very kind also, not sure what Courtney S. had a problem with but I seriously feel she is mad and lying for some reason. I know I overheard once a conversation about a gift card from Serenity Day Spa why couldn't Tranquillo Vi honor it. Well I think from what I had heard they honored thousands in gift cards they didn't have to! I heard the front desk nicely explain that going forward the spa would let guests still use old Serenity gift cards and they would take off 20% from the gift card per service until it's used up. If I had to guess they were giving away so many services because of the old gift cards they were loosing $$. They were probably mislead in the sale who knows. But that's still nice that you can use an old card towards any service and get 20% off! (For example that's 20% off a $65.00 facial so you would be saving $13.00. You are getting an wonderful HOUR long service for $52.00). You can't beat that. Other spas charge $100.00 for 50 minutes and you don't get the same benefits as Tranquillo Vi estheticians. Donna, Janelle and Melissa are all wonderful and have all been there for years! Do not read these poor reviews and go by them. For whatever reason these people are angry when I know Tranquillo Vi is only kind and accommodating. Ann and Christa are the nicest people. I have spent a decent amount of time out front looking at lotions etc and I have NEVER heard them be unkind to anyone. These negative reviews perhaps are people who are somehow connected to the old owner, not sure but they are lying. The nail department is all the same people minus 1 girl who told me she was changing her career path. Katie, Amy, Amanda, Stephanie, Hannah, Tyisha, Crystal etc. SAME GIRLS who I have seen for years! So where the all new staff comes in per Nicole I don't know. I do not often get massages but I know Shamad, Lisa and Laura have been there as long as I have been going also! Again please do not pay attention to these negative reviews, go try Tranquillo Vi and decide for yourself. These reviews are angry, lying people for some reason and when I read them I became angry. Had such a wonderful experience at this spa!! I called up to inquire about making an appointment for a massage and the girl on the phone was so helpful and knowledgeable about the services. After answering all of my questions (which probably took a good 10 mins) the girl informed me that they had openings that day!! Which I was thrilled about because I had heard that they book up far in advanced. I went in about an hour after the phone conversation and was greeted by smiling faces which is so nice to see since it was a gloomy rainy day. I got changed into a robe and slippers and sat in the Tranquillity room where I had some amazing tea and maybe a couple pieces of candy haha. My massage therapist was wonderful and after i was thinking i wonder if they would have any nail apps open and they did!! I wish I could of stayed there all day!! Wonderful spa, employee's and amazing services, I will definitely be making it one of my regular stops!! read more

So- lathe name of this spa should be Tranquillo Screw-me! That's right, the new owner(s) of this spa are completely unethical. I actually don't want to wast to much more of my time even writing a review on them but I feel it's necessary. I had a gift certificate from my sister which doesn't expire for three months- not only would they not honor it-they wanted to make even more $ by telling us (us because my niece is in the same predicament -they wouldn't accept her gift certificate either)- they would allow us 20% off 3 visits instead of gift certificates. They actually acted like we should be happy because after a few visits we would save as much as the certificates are worth. What? So, they want us to keep going their to spend money so we could recoup what we lost! Ok- that's plain crazy! How stupid do they think we are. I will NEVER GO TO THIS SPA-EVER- even if it was free!
