Hello! I cannot explain how thankful I am for this amazing orthodontist office. All staff has extremely been very helpful. Dr. Trans has been taking care of my dental since I was a little girl now my teeth are looking good. Danielle, Joanna and Whitney are great assistants, they are patient and funny. Also, vionne is extremely helpful when changing appointments. Despite an extremely high fee for appointment cancelations, these office visit is amazing. read more

Do not recommend this place. We wanted to get my brother in laws dental records and go elsewhere, because he's been having immense pain since his last tooth extraction here. Office manager Jackie said she did not want or have time to send them over through email or paper and we would get them within 3-5 business days. All this knowing their patient is immense pain. Wow I'm shocked to have witnessed this experience, Probably the worst dental place I have encountered, my sister Allyson tried to make an appointment and needed to get in right away due to pain. So she cancelled two days prior and the lady was very rude to her and wanted to charge her 75$ for cancelling. It just goes to show how desperate practices are. Not a good look for a business at all. Our family moved to this practice after Dr Salem joined but now the office manager refuses to let us schedule with him. The office manager is extremely rude and everything is a upsell with Dr Tran. They continually have scheduled 3 to 4 month cleanings despite insurance only paying twice a year and also telling each one of us all kinds of work that is needed despite not having a history of dental problems. I felt like I was at a used car dealership and can't trust what they tell me. I've never posted a yelp review but felt compelled to do so for this business because the service was so bad. I was a new patient planning to transition to this office after my previous great dentist, Dr. Salem , retired. Unfortunately, my experience started off on the wrong foot with these people . I called to cancel my appointment the day before my scheduled exam, explaining that I would be going elsewhere. The front desk staff responded in a rude and unprofessional manner, stating that they would still be charging me and I will receive an invoice in the mail lol. My appointment was on Wednesday, but I called on Tuesday morning to cancel since Monday was a holiday and I couldn't cancel then. I expected a professional and understanding approach, especially for a new patient, but the behavior I encountered was disappointing and off putting. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, we started going here because Dr Salem was amazing for us. But their office staff is rude, they made my daughter have a horrible panic attack and I told her to drive off. They were not being understanding with her and were just pressuring her to pay $$. There's an issue with her dental insurance and when she asked to reschedule to figure out what's going on with her dad, the lady rudely told her you need to pay me $75 for a reschedule. My daughter had no idea there was an issue with her insurance when she showed up, the office did and didn't call her to let her know before the appointment. And that's because they wanted to charge her $$$$. Good dental office would call the patient beforehand and let them know hey there's a problem. read more

I am only giving 2 stars instead one 1 because I personally had a lovely experience until this point with very kind staff members such as Vianni. Today however, I went in and there was a mix up with my appointment length and price. Long story short, I had to reschedule an appointment back in December because I ended up needing my wisdom teeth out at another place asap. I of course agreed to the late fee as I understand why it's in place. When we then talked about rescheduling for January, I asked what the appointment would be and the price. I wrote down as I was on the phone: "exam, $25." Well it turns out it was that + combining a cleaning that was also due. I even remember saying "Well I can do that!" relieved that it was a cheaper appointment. When I told a gal at the front desk she had me take a seat and wait a moment, then a blonde older woman comes out and immediately starts all but yelling at me in front of everyone. Tells me that there's no such thing as a 25 minute appointment, I should know that because I've been here, now I'm wasting her staffs time for the second time... goes on AND on. I stayed very calm and my mom says "well, that's an approach. it seems like you are reprimanding her". To which she responds: "Yes I am because ....". And goes off on me again. She relentlessly told me that I should know appointments can't be 25 minutes, and I told her I don't work there and don't have appointment lengths memorized. I very calmly explain that I get there's a misunderstanding and I'm sorry that it's inconvenient, but that I'm not making it up and that I just didn't budget for it today. She then tells me "So is it about the time or the money, which is it? It's only a $38 difference." At that point it was neither. I told her that I felt uncomfortable and I'd like just pay what I owed and leave. (because wtf I'm nearly in tears and now you want me to sit and get my mouth worked on for an hour?). She says "Nope you don't owe anything!" Great -- we left. I could not believe she talked to my mother and I this way over a misunderstanding. We were so caught off guard, Im only summarizing it too. I wasn't even giving pushback or refusing to pay any fees. Because at the end of the day, I don't care if I originally misheard or the staff originally misspoke -- as a manager there is no excuse for treating loyal clients this way. She was just on a power trip and needed to tell me what for. The sad part is, I brought my mother in that day hoping she could be a new patient, and had plans to bring my fiancé here as well. She lost all of that business because of her temper over ONE situation. I also don't appreciate her throwing in my face that this is my second time cancelling. If I call, agree to pay the fee, and kindly explain that I need to prioritize SURGERY over one of many appointments -- that is my prerogative. Some people thrive off of getting upset, very sad to see. & finally, if she would have just kindly asked what was going on and explained that now her staff would be suffering if I didn't stay for both appointments, I WOULD HAVE JUST STAYED. I know that I wrote the exam and price correctly, but sure maybe I messed up the time duration. So yes, I would have easily just decided to pay the extra amount and stayed the extra time regardless of who "messed up". Dr Tran has been taking care of my family's dental hygiene for a very long time. I can attest that Dr. Tran's level of care is in the Elite status. My children has been comfortable from day one since they were toddlers. Dr. Tran has very gentle hands whether its for your toddler and or a major surgery for yourself. From my experience, I have yet to feel uncomfortable pain like you would expect from other dentists who push you thru like cattle. He also analyzes the situation very well which makes sometimes a traumatizing experience be a really, really pleasant one. Transdental's new facility is very efficient in able to get you the data, information, and care you need. I highly recommend his busy practice for any age looking for a trustworthy dentist. Dr. Tran volunteers and does pro-bono work year round, God Bless him!. Transdental staff are also very knowledgeable and will advice you on your best path to the best hygiene you have ever had. read more

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Salem's. I have always loved his attention to care and quality service. But since moving to this new practice, I feel like I am a number. I feel like it's all about dollars and cents and not about the patient. I feel it's about the upsell and it's more of a factory than a dental office. Sadly giving a 1 star review but after our entire family moving to Tran Dental after Dr Salem joined the practice however we feel it's time to leave. After seeing Dr Tran and scheduling some procedures which were quoted at $6000 I had to call their office to reschedule due to a family members death. Jackie the office manager took the call and her comment was well I will have to talk to Dr Tran about this he won't call in any further prescriptions for you since your canceling the appointment. I was literally planning to reschedule due to our families death. I told her my family takes precedence over my appointments and her response again was well I'm going to speak with Dr Tran. I said do what you need to do and she immediately hung up. She cost her firm $6000 plus all further care of our family. They made it clear it's all about the money. would not recommend this place to anyone. The only reason why I went there in the first place was because my dentist DDS Jim Salem moved into that office with DDS Tran. The office staff at this place is rude and horrible when it comes to treating customers. Almost got into an argument with someone on the phone from that office when trying to cancel an appointment with a second procedure and was told I needed to give 48 hours notice. I then told the lady on the phone not in a nice tone that I wanted to cancel my appointment and she said ok. Right know I am in the process of getting a second opinion from a different dentist and will not be going back to this place. I am sad because I have known dr Salem for YEARS! He's taken care of my family. However, now dr Tran taken over. I went there and I needed a deep cleaning. It was $600! And they refused to do any of my cavities unless I did the deep clean first. They kept saying your insurance won't pay unless you do the deep cleaning. I know that is not true. Anytime they take into account private off to "talk" you know they are taking you for a ride! Went to another dentist they did my cleaning for $200 and also said I didn't have any cavities read more

The front desk staff and the manager, Jackie, are the WORST. Instead of constantly asking patients for 5-star reviews, they should focus on improving customer service. Jackie is very rude and frequently interferes with patients actually seeing the doctor or the hygienist. She often refuses to schedule appointments and tries to push patients to see inexperienced dental assistants or whoever they are. One time, a new dental assistant who I never saw before nearly burned my lips during a cavity filling, and another time I noticed a patient had to hold the water equipment themselves (what kind of dental office does that?). Instead of spending money on renovating the office, they should invest in training the staff to learn how to behave and communicate with patients. Dr. Quynh is a great dentist, and the hygienist, Sonia is also excellent, but the office manager Jackie needs to learn how to treat patients properly. read more

Unprofessional, rude and condescending office staff. Acted like they were burdened with every question I asked. Sadly, this was the case not once or twice, but the multiple times I had contact with the office. Very disappointed - I definitely won't go back and I was a 20-year patient of a dentist that recently started working there that I followed. Not only did they lose my business with their rude uncaring behavior, but they lost my kids, partner, and my referrals to friends and family that will never happen again. Too bad SMH. I called the office and asked how much a flipper (a removable fake tooth) was, until I get my implant. I was told I needed an appointment, so I went in to get the quote, and I had to fill out six pages of paperwork that they already had. I also had to take a full set of x rays, have a full exam, and be quoted for work that I did not come there for and did not want until I finally got a price on the tooth. I was there for an hour. Doctor Salem has been my dentist for 20 years. He recently got a job at this dental office. He was great as always, and so was his nurse, but the rest of the office staff is hideous. They are rude, mean, and uncaring. Not a smile in the place. No wonder they only have 2 and a 1/2 stars. read more

My first visit was on 12/3 and I was pleasantly surprised. This is my regular dentist who moved into a new location with other dentists. The office is very bright and cheery and sooo clean. From the nice girl who took my x-rays to the end of my appointment with Jackie, I was handled with respect and care. I also was thoroughly explained all necessary work and upfront pricing. Dr Salem patient stated going to new location under Dr. Tran. Not the greatest experiences for a new dental practice starting. Staff can and have been unprofessional to our family for no reason. Staff in the front aren't the friendliest they don't give you that warm welcome like they should and I have previously had. The lady with the red hair is always friendly and welcoming. Our family have been with Dr Salem for close to 7 years or more with no issues or complaints. I had a cleaning scheduled which was not completed that day. Dr Salem, said was just going to take measurements of my teeth. He did then said I needed to speak to manager Jackie. Jackie told me I needed to go on a gingivitis plan, for close to $500 which was not going to be covered under my insurance. Then I had to come in about every 3 months which is also not covered under my insurance. I told her thank you for info but would like to just do what is covered under my insurance which is cleaning every 6 months. She told me I had to do the gingivitis plan. I asked her so if I don't do plan I can't get my teeth cleaned? She said yes. What?? So if I deny a service you can't provide the service I want? I asked her for info. Asked her what is included so told me trays, gel and sensitive gel should last for a few months. I scheduled a cleaning I spoke to Dr. Salem that recommended plan, that's the only reason I got it. I had to come in to get fitted for trays. I went later on to pick up the trays and gel and there was a new electric toothbrush in the bag. I told the lady that helped me I don't need a new one I already have one. Do I have to get this? Yes it comes with the plan and she asked me what electric toothbrush I have? I told her she said ours is much better. Really?? So I guess that's where a lot of the money that I paid is going to the electric toothbrush. They forgot to mention that when they were explaining about the gingivitis plan. Customer service is key to any good business and communication without that you have nothing! Staff needs better customer service training, being more welcoming when you have paying customers. That is the worst bad customer service. Also if a plan is not in a persons budget or they don't want to accept it, it shouldn't be forced on a person let them sign something they are denying service, or just don't provide to them. Speaking to Jackie I felt like it was all about her pushing the gingivitis plan and dentists making more money other than getting it from our insurance. I explained that to her I get money taken out of my check every month for dental and I had previously a month ago had surgery on a tooth and had to pay close to $2000 out of pocket I didn't want to pay anything extra. read more

I have had alot of dental work throughout my life, from minor to major and I have to tell you, I have never been treated with such absolute care and professionalism them with Dr. Quinn and his amazing staff at Transdental. I just had my first root canal and I was beyond nervouse. He made the procedure pain free and stress free and kept my comfort in mind the entire time. My 21 year old granddaughter went to this group a few weeks ago. My heart broke for her after they scared her with false procedures they said she needed. They claimed she needed 2 root canals, 13 cavities, deep cleaning, and the list goes on to the tune of $4903. I've been going here for over 10 years now. I enjoy how professional and kind are the staff. Dr.Quihn makes you feel like home. The staff are wonderful and explain everything with full detail. Dr.Quihn has a welcoming personality. The X-ray room is adorable it is finding Nemo theme. They also decorate each room depending on the holiday. I highly recommend them. read more

I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr. Quinn and his team are. It's important to know that I was traveling for work, when I was referred to Dr. Quinn. This in and of itself is stressful. Second, Dr. Quinn began work shortly before COVID-19 "fell into place," if you get my meaning here. In general, everything was smooth, truthful and reliable. The real test, however, is that not only does this Doctor and his associates perform excellent work, their work promotes the natural healing the rest of the body wants, when directions are followed.
