I have been coming here for about 8-9 years, but today was the last visit. I am so over this dental…read moreoffice. My appointment was at 1:30pm. I waited about 10-15 minutes for X-rays, another 10-15 minutes for the doctor, and then another 10-15 minutes for the hygienist. After all that waiting, I left with nothing done besides X-rays. No cleaning, which is what I came in for and what my insurance covers. Both the doctor and hygienist came in, checked my teeth, and instead of doing the cleaning, they started going over additional treatments I "should" get done. This has been a constant pattern here, even when I bring my kids. This dental office is more focus on upselling than actually doing the basic service! This isn't just a one-time issue. Over the years, there's been a constant turnover, different doctor, different hygienist, different front desk at every visit. There's no consistency, and it shows. I have let things slide before, but they've wasted my time too many times now. There's also no effort to work with you, no options, no trying to meet you where you're at. It's it's either everything they recommend or nothing at all. At this point, I don't recommend this dentist office. If you value your time and just want to get what you came in for, I would go somewhere else.

I wish I could give zero stars, but in order to inform the public I must at least give it one. If I…read morecould, I'd give negative 5. Buckle up, guys, because this one is going to make sure you take your business elsewhere. This was my first time going to the dentist without my mom, as I had just turned 18 and was moving to the adult side of the office. I will be honest, I loved my pediatric dentist, who I had since I was 4. Her name was Dr. Christine Marcello Aquino, and her hygienist, potentially named Amber, was a beautiful blonde with a great sense of humor. Anyways, picture this: I take time off college to come back from UCLA to go to the dentist just for a small filling. First, like many have already noted, I was on time but was not seen until an hour and a half after my appointment time. I asked the attendant why I hadn't been called yet while other people were going ahead of me, and they asked my name... they did not even know I was there. I finally get called and placed in a room. A physician, who is no longer there (quick turnover), numbed my mouth to prep me for the filling, then left me alone in the room, reclined, for another 60 minutes. I finally called my mom, as I was now anxious, confused, and distressed because I felt like my throat was closing. I felt like I couldn't swallow or breathe. The numbing medication trickled down my throat. This triggered a panic attack, and paramedics were called to treat me. My mom left work and tried to tell the receptionist that she did not authorize me to be taken in the ambulance, as insurance does not cover that. The doctors insisted I be treated, only making the panic attack worse. This was the worst experience I have ever had since I started going to the dentist at age 3. I remember leaving the office teary-eyed, out of breath, confused, and begging for Christine to do my filling instead. I came across her in the hallway, and for the first time at this appointment I experienced compassion. The office then told me I would not be seen to complete the filling that I came all the way from college to get done. I had to go back the next day for finals, but they refused to provide the service they initially said was needed. My mom called the front office and had to demand they see me later in the day before I returned to college. Ever since I aged out of the pediatrics side, it has been nothing but trouble. I hope Christine can open her own practice someday because I will be her first and most loyal customer.

I have been coming to this office for a little over two years. Every experience has been fantastic!…read more During my first visit I let Dr. Gromis know that I had not been to the dentist in over ten years. I had been going to the same dentist for 15 years prior and when he retired life got in the way and the years just kept on coming. Anyway, most dentists would have seen that as an opportunity to cash in, not Dr. Gromis. He complimented me on how well I had take care of my teeth over the years and found only two spots with minor decay that needed to be filled. With my insurance, my total out of pocket cost was incredibly reasonable. It is hard to find honest people working in the medical field these days, and even harder when it comes to dentists. I'm extremely happy with the work that has been done as well as the customer service provided by the staff. Everyone is kind, courteous, and very respectful of your time. At most I've waited 10-15 minutes to be seen and that was just once. Every other visit I've been brought back right away. The office is very clean and much more warm and inviting than other offices I've been to. I've found my dentist for the next 15 years or more!

I'm at a loss. I'm so upset. I went into a dentist that I had gone once before to fill 2 more…read morecavities. First one went great the second one did not... When I was sitting in the chair another patient came in for a "dental emergency" and I feel like everything that was done was very rushed and it had me full blown shaking and crying in their chair whereas the first time AND previous dentists I have had no issues like this. Monday- 2 cavities filled Tuesday- still numb, google said numbness should only last 12 hours Wednesday- I call in and tell them my face it still numb up around my eye down all the way to the base of my neck. My tongue is also numb and I CANNOT TASTE OR TELL TEMP. - they said oh that's not normal, call us on Monday we are taking a long weekend Thursday- calling other dentists, friends, family, etc. no one has heard of this happening with cavities- only with root canals or wisdom teeth extractions Friday- everything is really bothering me. I cannot eat because of the pain I go to urgent care, they send me to the ER. ER did CT scan to make sure it wasn't an infections. My entire day gone, IV in my arm all day and $200 for copays. They told me the dentist damaged my "cranial and lingular" nerve and gave me steroids. She said if this doesn't clear up it might be permanent. Diagnosed with "paresthesia" AFTER steroids- nothing changed. I still have numbness/pins and needles on the entire left side of my face, tongue, teeth and neck. Pain while eating anything hard, cold or hot on the entire top and bottom left side of my teeth. 8 weeks later- I was told by another dentist to wait 8 weeks to make sure my nerves were actually damaged so they could refer me to an oral surgeon. New dentist also recommended pulling tooth 18 as the cavity filling was not done right and there is a lot of grey space under cavity. I lay awake at night as my face statics and reminds me of this incident. I can't floss my teeth without tooth #18 feeling like it's going to pop out. They never offered me anything, no extra care, no "let me take a look", no let me give you back the money for AT LEAST the cavity they messed up and is causing me to loose the tooth. Nothing all they could say is "sorry" to something I have no idea how long I will be stuck with. The daily pain I'm in because of this whereas I have never had dental pain before this and I've had plenty of dental work done before. Why me?

Let's just start with this is an excellent office with very special and talented people…read more I know they don't push that this is a great dental practice for those with dental phobia, but if you have dental anxiety or fear this is the best place to go. I went yesterday for a consult and it was not that busy but today the office was very busy! (probably because they are really great) I waited a little but it was well worth it. The x-rays the gentleman took for me yesterday were very comfortable and he was very pleasant. Today I had to get a cleaning and 2 cavities filled. I was having so much anxiety and fear, but Mary Jane the dental hygienist has the lightest touch and her bedside manner is wonderful. Also, the shots are the focal point of what usually makes me so nervous to go to the dentist but Mary Jane administered it painlessly. It is truly artistry at the level she practices at. She comforted me and talked me through each step. It was a painless and comfortable experience (physically & emotionally) from Mary Jane to Dr Kolahi. Dr Kolahi is a very honest, calm, and kind doctor. You can tell he is genuinely thinking of your best interest not trying to up-charge or anything like that. He has a very gentle hand with the treatments and the fillings he did are great. In closing, what a crazy experience in the best way. It has changed my views on dentistry/dental care. Thank you. :*)
