Literally horrible. I made it very clear from my first call with them that I did not want a deep cleaning with laser treatment and I wanted a basic cleaning instead. They refused to provide a basic cleaning when I insisted this is what I came in for. They said the dentist wrote a suggested deep cleaning with laser and therefore they could not give me a basic cleaning. I have never been to a dental office that has done this. Beware of this place, my daughters and I came in and everything seemed great at first staff was friendly, dr & hygienist seemed good. Unfortunately when it comes down to billing it is a scam. They tried to over charge my copay by hundreds and they add extra charges with enhancement not covered by insurance. After checking their billing codes with insurance my copay wouldn't have even been more then one hundred! Funny thing they originally offered a few hundred in discounts if I did the work today. The office staff are very friendly and the ortho is also friendly. This issue we have is in regards to appointment scheduling. Even though we have been told that they have added to their number of orthodontists, and that there will be more appointments available now, we have found that it is extremely difficult to keep my daughters schedule for her orthodontist appointments regular. For example, their call center scheduled us for an appointment that apparently was on a day that the orthodontist is not in the office. however they did not catch this until 5 1/2 weeks later the day before our scheduled appointment. When they called me to reschedule the appointment the next available appointment for my daughter was not for another six weeks. Therefore making it so that she is now going 12 weeks between appointments. This is also really frustrating because it doesn't allow for, anything like sickness for rescheduling. If you miss your appointment, or you have to reschedule you end up having to wait an entire another six weeks before you can be seen again. This is very frustrating for her as well because she wants to move the process along and close the gaps in her teeth that are being caused by the current tightening from the last appointment. This in itself makes me wish that I had stayed with the ortho that did her first round of braces a few years ago. read more

Gentle dental needs some help with scheduling the clients. It seems that every time we are waiting about an hour after our appointment. Our last appointment was scheduled at 11 and did not get in the seat until 12 and that's because some one left because of the long wait. My kid got frustrated because of the wait and could not continue with her procedure so of course we had to reschedule and wait another two weeks so we will see how it goes? Funny thing about the medical industry and insurance, they make us wait, give bad customer service, maybe offer unnecessary procedures and still have the audacity to charge full price! read more

I was experiencing discomfort on one of my molars for several months. I called gentle dental and they were able to see me same day. I was afraid to go to the dentist due to Covid, but when I arrived, I could see that this office took covid very seriously with temperature checks and covid screening questionnaire. After filling out some paperwork, I was taken back to the rooms where Angel took my X-rays. She was very quick, gentle, and friendly. Within a few minutes, The dentist, Dr. Ha examined my tooth and gave me a few treatment options. Alex, the treatment coordinator went over financials , explained my insurance benefits, and offered payment plans! Dr. Ha was able to treat me that day. I knew he was very busy with other patients but he didn't want me to leave the office with discomfort. Dr Ha was very gentle (I didn't feel the injection!!). He really took his time and asked me periodically if i was comfortable. It is now day 2 and I no longer have any more tooth pain!! I couldn't believe I put off dental work so long, especially when all it took was less than 1 hour to fix. I highly recommend this office. Everyone is so professional and kind. Such a great experience! Brought in my 12 year old for the first time in quite awhile because of a past experience at a different dentist. They called my insurance company and got my son's insurance switched right over for me. Noe helped me w payment and made check in and check out super easy! Don't ever go here the dentist might be good I don't even know because I couldn't get past the front desk Alexis is the worst employee ever she is in confident incompetent and rude she does not know how to submit simple paperwork to get Medicare dental work approved . I gave them months of of chances even after her rudeness of telling me that I was not the only patient that they had and telling me that my fillings or cosmetic and would not be approved by Medicare lies I found out that I didn't even need approval to get my fillings done. I went in there February 14th 2004 here we are August 1st 2004 and they have not done one thing . Yesterday I found out they canceled my appointment one day before my appointment . I am livid . I should have never given them a chance . If I could give 0 stars I would, I went for appt & didn't know the other side of the office was ortho so long story short got a quote for braces vs 2 molar implants & cost wise it was close but being natural & moving each last molar one space (1top 1 bottom) in to the "vacancy" sounded better. The answer was, they would put a (tiny) screw in to my gums one each side, to pull the rear molar over vs the typical braces & brackets doing all the work. Well 2 months 6 month 1 year later I'm asking when are they going to place the screw. I'm a lil older and it would be the 3rd time I'm in braces. I know my teeth move quickly. Ok I take back "long story short" lol by the 2nd year they told me "it was impossible & if it could be done it would take 5 years" by this time they had gone through 3 orthodontists working there. In addition to not doing what they should have, I was set up on auto withdrawal yet received a late notice every month. They are a joke! I could go on & on!!! With proof of every word! read more

Appointments are scarce due to Orthodontist doctor supposedly only being available to go in once a month. My son's monthly visit has been pushed back to almost 3 months because the only one doctor is on vacation and they can't get a doctor to substitute during that time. On top of that, my sons spacers keep coming out and the soonest they can ever get him in to replace them is always the week after. I found Gentle Dental on my HMO provider list called verified they do take my insurance. Advised office that full X-rays had been taken at previous dentist office and insurance only pays every two years, I had previous dentist forward x-rays (taken about 6 months prior). Arrived at new dentist was told x-rays had to be retaken but I wouldn't be charged. Dentist came in reviewed x-rays told me everything that needed to be done (I am a 78 yr old female) I told the dentist all I needed was one filling and teeth cleaned. After waiting someone came in and went over the costs to do everything that needed to be done costing over $2000.00, example: tooth with root canal they wanted to pull my cost would be $500.00 after insurance paid, was told it was because I had an HMO plan, checked with my insurance my cost for extraction would be between $15.00 to $100.00. I can't believe how horrible this place ended up being. My daughter had a toothache, so my friend referred this place to us. The Dentist said that my daughter had food in her gums & gingivitis, which caused her pain. He suggested a deep celaning, so we did it based on his recommendation, hoping this would help take away the pain. After her deep cleaning, she felt worse, we called & spoke to the Dentist, and he gave her a mouth rinse & Norcos for the pain. The next day her face was Swollen! She was much worse than the day before, we had to go to Urgent Care to get shots & antibiotics, which the Dentist should have given her Before doing the cleaning... Actually the Dentist should have known she had an infection in her gums, and Not done the cleaning, but he didn't care about my daughter, just about his billings.. Don't go here!! The Dentist is denying his mis diagnosis, even after I got two other Dentists to prove him wrong. The place isn't even upkept properly!!! read more

I'm back! This time for the orthodontist and oral surgeon! Again my experience has been wonderful! One of my boys had his wisdom teeth pulled and another son had braces put on. In both cases the staff was helpful, kind and professional. The assistants were great with my boys and kept me updated during the procedures. The orthodontist is incredibly personable and expresses compassion. I rarely have to wait very long for appointments which is important since life is so busy. After living with a loose crown that was stuck between my teeth for a year and being told it had to be broken to be removed and replaced with a new one, I saw new Dr. Nazila Bagheri (Dr. B.) and she was able to get it out and cemented back down. They keep billing me when they already billed me at the beginning of my work to be done. I signed an agreement to pay $2000.00 after the same group charged me almost $6000 for a partial that never fit. I finally got the refund from Myra who overcharged. I sent the detailed billing to my insurance, and they caught her cheating on the numbers. When I agreed to pay $2000 to correct the partial, they then are trying to collect $500 more from me. I told Noe, that manager, that I will let people know about this if Myra didn't correct the billing.
