Oh my - I can't thank these guys enough. We were on our way to the drive the safari with our two little ones when our van started shaking badly when we accelerated (out of nowhere). we got off in the closest exit and the nearest gas station sent us over to the Exxon mechanic's shop. They figured out the problem and had it fixed in an hour with a very reasonable price. They were so nice and helpful. We will definitely use them again! read more

Shocked!!! Owner rude, Discourteous, condescending upon just my inquiry to have a simple inspection on my vehicle. He proclaimed he was not open yet even though he advertised 6am-10pm. I purposely arrived at 6:45am in a storm with consideration first come first ser kved basis. Owner "until you see all lights on, I'm not open". Then pointed to ceiling "only got one light on!" . I was stunned! After years giving him my business and many referrals, his reaction to me on a stormy morning to turn me away is unforgivable. Rethink if you want to do business with this place. We got a flat tire after the New Market ceremony for VMI as we were heading to the parade in town. The workers here were so incredibly helpful and kind, and did all they could to help us. Although they didn't have the tire in stock to help replace ours, they helped us to call places that might have one and we were finally able to get it fixed. Great customer service! read more

From out of town visiting Luray Cavers over two hours from home. On the way back coming down the mountains into new market my belt came off he car and along with my wife and 3 kids we were stuck. No clue where we were, at night. We managed to get a hold of this Exxon and they assured they would look at the car to fix it first thing in the morning. We got a hotel and cab ride for the night, and our insurance towed the car to Exxon. Sure enough next morning as promised I get a call with an update initially, letting me know what was found and needed. Shortly after the call came in that the car was ready. I was still unsure where I was and was at the hotel with no car. I figured I would either be paying another $40 for a cab or walking in the rain. The gentlemen at Exxon said they preferred I not walk in the rain and that far and offered to get me. Talk about great customer service and genuinely nice people there... this was truly an amazing experience for such an uncertain and stressful time. In this situation the cost was not even a focus for me, but the were very fair and honest with labor and pricing! Thanks to them and I highly recommend for any service if in town or traveling through like me! read more

We were traveling from Pennsylvania and the alternator went and there was no way we could make it home. It was a weekend but he was able to take us first thing Monday morning. Our battery light came on as we were on I-81, then the steering became very tight. We were fortunate that we were close to the New Market exit and found our way to the New Market Exxon. Junior quickly diagnosed our problem - the alternator pulley had broken. Being late in the day on a Saturday, they would not be able to get the part until Monday. They were really helpful in giving us information so that we could find transportation to our destination in NC. They fixed our car as promised and kept it until we returned a week later. The repair was a reasonable cost. We would recommend their service to anyone who lives nearby or, like us, has a problem on the road. read more

As we were driving home to New York City, our car's electrical system failed on I-81 -- first the dashboard lights, then the speedometer, then the headlights -- and we barely made it to the New Market exit. AAA sent a tow truck from Exxon to tow the car. A mechanic named D.J. came late at night and towed it back to the station. He was very nice and said they'd check it out in the morning. We braced for a long wait and a big bill -- after all, we were captive customers. Well, I called about 9 o'clock in the morning, and, first surprise, the car was already fixed. We went to the station and got the second surprise: a bill for $48. When was the last time you ever got a bill that low at a repair garage? They said the only thing wrong was a bolt on the alternator that had come loose. And sure enough, everything worked just fine. We were astonished at their speed and integrity and low price. Our family now calls that experience the Miracle of New Market. I can't recommend D.J. and his colleagues highly enough! Thank you! read more

After an oil change at another garage I had to make an emergency stop here while traveling north on 81. The guys here are super helpful, friendly and willing to help. They found that the garage back home messed up when putting my filter on and I lost all my oil. read more

Not only do they come to you quickly, but they get your car in for service that day and do not charge you for the extra effort and personalized service. They came to my car, took the flat tire off, put in the spare, fixed my tire and put it back on for $25!! You will be pleased if you call them for any care care need! read more
