The pre-installation process was straightforward and very helpful, giving me a clear understanding of what to expect. Unfortunately, installation day brought several complications. A team of three began installing 16 windows, but just 15 minutes in, one technician badly twisted an ankle and had to leave. The remaining two proceeded to remove all windows on a scorching 90+ degree day before starting replacements, turning my home into an uncomfortably hot and humid environment. While they finished the installation that day, it was an incredibly long shift, from just before 10 AM until 9 PM, requiring my continuous supervision. I noted that a drop cloth was only used for the very first window, which helped with the mess initially but wasn't continued. Another issue was the window color. I had specified a tan/wicker exterior with a white interior, but received entirely white windows. To avoid a 6-8 week delay and a $350 rescheduling fee, I accepted them. They do look good, and the white exterior matches my previous windows, so I'm not overly concerned about this. My primary outstanding concern is a gutter downspout that was removed during installation and never reinstalled. Despite multiple calls (three to the install team, two to the service team), I haven't received any communication or action to rectify this. This lack of follow-up so soon after installation makes me question the reliability of their warranty service.

After the appointment, I decided to take a few days to do my due diligence and gather a couple of additional quotes before making a decision. Three days later, I received an email from the Sales Manager, Richard Hansen, with a revised quote. Surprisingly, the new price was significantly lower than the original quote, but it was for 11 windows instead of the 8 I actually needed. Since the pricing was much more competitive, I reached back out and simply asked for the same pricing to be adjusted for the 8 windows I wanted to purchase. Richard responded that the lower price had been sent in error due to a "system glitch" and that Window Nation would not honor it. Mistakes can happen, but what was most disappointing was the company's unwillingness to stand behind the quote they sent or make any effort to find a reasonable solution. As a customer who was genuinely interested in moving forward, it left me feeling that the pricing was inconsistent and that customer satisfaction wasn't a priority. I expected better communication and better customer service from a company of this size. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to take my business elsewhere.

Their team arrived as promised and got right to work. They were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They diligently addressed each area with care and cleaned-up behind themselves as work progressed. When the final screen for the back porch sliding door was hung - they noticed a problem. The locking mechanism was missing from the interior of the screen. So, a call was placed and Lowe's needed to order a new inner-door latch piece. It was October and after a few failed attempts - Lowe's finally opted to replace the entire screen door and it works! This team stayed on the case and kept following up to make sure that things were moving forward. Yes, it's April but it was worth the wait and no fault should be placed on these fine folks. I really appreciate their kind regard and would recommend them to anyone.

"All of your windows are broken, call Lowes."...... Excuse me?!....... Gone, in their truck and gone! Fast forward 7 months later, still have broken windows, Vista claims "they were broken from being rained on......" Pella says they were install wrong... pointing fingers at each other and Lowes can do nothing about any of it except for take my money and laugh their way to the bank....

On the…read moredate scheduled for the instillation we receive a call from the installers giving us notice that they would arrive within 20 minutes. When they arrived they went direct to work and did not stop until our windows had been installed and cleaned. It was amazing how they worked together and even apart. The installers, Fillype Veiga and Joe, were very polite, courteous and professional. Both my wife and I were very happy when the installation was completed. We could not believe how beautiful the newly installed windows changed the appearance of our home. The workmanship of the two installers is outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone. Before they left Fillype went over how the windows worked, how they open and close, then cleaned them all. They cleaned up everything and left nothing behind except our new windows. Thank you Window World Carolinas for a fantastic job from the day of the arrival of your sales representative until installation. In the future should anyone ask about our windows you will be highly recommended. We love our new windows. Thank you!

We had over 15 workers in our home on day 1 from 8:30am - 7:30pm. The main installer couldn't keep track of that many people and we had personal items, trash and damage left behind. When I inquired about the severe damage to a Japanese Maple, I was told it was my fault as I didn't relocate the tree or trim/cover it properly. Note, no one told me about the damage. It was noticed a few days after the job was completed and it was obvious someone took the broken branches off site so they knew what had happened. The sales rep also didn't seem to be aware of what was happening even though she told us she would be onsite for the installation. Not true. She came on day 2 and stayed for under 2 hours. Never came back to check on the completed work. I do not recommend this company.

In March 2024 we paid over $80,000 upfront for complete window…read morereplacement. *The sales rep and his supervisor GUARANTEED the installation would be done from the exterior due to the fact that my husband has a lung condition. *We were guaranteed there would be no mess and that our custom window trim would not be removed and our sheet rock would not be damaged. *We were guaranteed that the installation crew were certified and trained Pella installers that would install 4-5 windows a day. *We were guaranteed that a Pella representative would walk us through the process and be with us every step of the way. *We were guaranteed they would respect and take care of our property and belongings. But INSTEAD, all of this was a lie! *A "smash and dash" crew was sent to our house in March and they ripped out 9 windows within the first hour before I could go in the house to see what was going on! *They destroyed our custom molding, installed a large window without shims, screws, foam insulation or moisture repellant tape. And then hurried to trim it out with molding so that no one would no! *They did not cover any of our belongings or protect the solid wood floors or 100% wool rugs. Sheet rock dust EVERYWHERE!!! *There were installed with over 1" tolerance yet Pella preaches that their installation would be brick to brick and no more than 1/4-1/2" tolerance . So they "fudged it" with foam insulation and covered the gap in trim to hide it. *There were multiple windows not centered. *There were windows ordered over 2" too small. No one in installation checked behind the salesmen's measurements (Which their policy is to "out two sets of eyes on everything!" *My husband was displaced out of his home for 4 months due to sheet rock dust and had to sleep on the couch in his shop for months due to his lung condition. *The crews were very unreliable in that they would drop in to work here and there over a 4 month period making it impossible to plan vacations; we could not have anyone over (including grandsons) because our home was destroyed with plastic drapes over everything and hanging from the ceilings...(which was ridiculous because they already put sheet rock dust over our entire house and furnishings! *We are treated like we are to blame and were constantly ghosted by Pella support teams. And now 4 months later as they are finishing up replacing the final window and trim work we get word that Pella is refusing to pay a painter to sand, fill, caulk and paint the new trim work and repair the sheet rock damage!! (Estimated at $5000) Pella asked me to get an estimate and now that they see the magnitude of the damages they are refusing to pay the painter due to the fact that the material is factory primed! Do not fall for anything their sales reps promise you. I was told by Pella Installation Team Members that the Sales Team Members say whatever they want to get the job contract! I have hundreds of photos and videos of the damage as well as these Pella employees going at it Pella Sales vs Pella Installation. (And yes I let them know I was videoing them talk.) Lies are lies....whether you tell them on the job or in your personal life. Shame on the owner of this company for allowing these business practices! Do not do business with Pella of the Carolinas out of Charlotte and High Point NC!

I put feelers out for repair referrals on Next Door, and Door Medic was referred. I texted the number and got an immediate response with relevant questions and, with the pictures sent, I was given a quote. Dan came out on Friday morning, keeping his quoted time, and sending me a text when enroute, as requested. He arrived, gave it an inspection, assured that the previously quoted rate was still a go, then, got to work. Down to letting us know that cash is best because it keeps him from having to charge a credit card fee...he is a class act. We even needed one wheel, as one had been lost under some stuff in the garage...yes, our garage is adulting appropriate. He had one with him and didn't charge us for this part. Not saying that would be applicable for all, after all he is in business, this is just what he did for us, and no, I never met him before this day. More than fair, professional, and knowledgeable! He even gave us heads up on a couple of things that would likely need repaired at some point, but, was honest about us not needing to spend that money right now. In this economy, honest business can be hard to come by, but, Dan is absolutely the MAN! Honest, fair, kind, all of the characteristics that you look for in doing business.

The second time he came I needed larger doors put into my mezzanine. He was able to accommodate me pretty quickly with an appointment. He was replacing the 6' doors with 8' so we could lift larger pallets up. The doors look great and he got it done in a day which really amazed me. I will use him again!
