I was pleasantly surprised by the low-pressure sales approach, which differed from other reviews I'd seen. The pre-installation process was straightforward and very helpful, giving me a clear understanding of what to expect. Unfortunately, installation day brought several complications. A team of three began installing 16 windows, but just 15 minutes in, one technician badly twisted an ankle and had to leave. The remaining two proceeded to remove all windows on a scorching 90+ degree day before starting replacements, turning my home into an uncomfortably hot and humid environment. While they finished the installation that day, it was an incredibly long shift, from just before 10 AM until 9 PM, requiring my continuous supervision. I noted that a drop cloth was only used for the very first window, which helped with the mess initially but wasn't continued. Another issue was the window color. I had specified a tan/wicker exterior with a white interior, but received entirely white windows. To avoid a 6-8 week delay and a $350 rescheduling fee, I accepted them. They do look good, and the white exterior matches my previous windows, so I'm not overly concerned about this. My primary outstanding concern is a gutter downspout that was removed during installation and never reinstalled. Despite multiple calls (three to the install team, two to the service team), I haven't received any communication or action to rectify this. This lack of follow-up so soon after installation makes me question the reliability of their warranty service. read more

He has stayed in contact to be sure we're satisfied. We do have one issue nut window nation has been responsive and we expect problem to be corrected in the next couple of weeks. read more

I should have read reviews before calling. FYI I tried to leave feedback on their website but they force you to leave a 5 star review and don't let you add a comment anywhere. Don't trust any of the reviews - I accidentally submitted it because it though there were multiple steps. I've resorted to coming here since this is unethical and others should be wary. I recently bought a home and the representative said that since I wasn't listed on the county site yet, I would need to share closing documents to book an appointment. I told her I didn't want to share closing documents with them as that has sensitive, non public information in it and preferred to wait to book an appointment until the county site was updated with my name. She argued with me and accused me of not being the homeowner simply because I wanted to wait so that I could avoid sharing non public information. When I told her my preference again, she told me she would cancel the appointment and hung up on me before I could respond. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing behavior. Not to mention that both the person who originally answered and the woman who hung up on me had bad, garbled audio and I could hear loud typing the whole time. Hire some polite representatives and get them a decent headset. Perhaps I should have seen this coming when I was offered $100 gift card to book an appointment- they reek of desperation. read more

I wish I would leave 0 starts. I have never been so upset with a company in my life. We had a sales representative come and sell us the dream of being 100% happy with our windows. Well, I HATE them. They give off the worst green hue I've never experienced. I've tried to contact costumer services and they said they can't do anything about it. First of all, if we would have known that the windows would give off a green hue and tint we would have NEVER agreed to install and replace them. This was never discussed. The ambience of my bedroom is ruined. My bedroom was my space and relaxing space, now I don't even want to walk in because I automatically notice the color change. Our bathroom and bedroom both have the same paint color, "aesthetic white" now you tell me, do these colors look the same now? Both have natural light, the only difference is the glass of the windows. The bedroom light now gives a green hue, the bathroom has the original windows with the pleasant hue. I have contact customer service and they refuse to do anything about it. I have tried to get in contact with the owners, with the people higher up about the satisfaction of the quality of glass and color and NOTHING. They are so quick to promise 100% satisfaction, but as soon as they're installed they don't give a flying hoot about customer satisfaction. I have been told, "what do you want us to do about it? They're already installed". The company also sends a bs follow up email where you can "email" and "call & contact" the owner. Yea, no that's all be and a complete lie. Because I've been emailing "the owner" & I've been "calling" the owner and I get ahold of is customer service telling me they can't do anything to resolve my complaint. I'll leave a photo of the color difference and I'll leave a screen shot of the voicemail I was left from customer service. Worst company, idk how they have over 2 stars. Window nation contacted me after I requested replacement window estimates through an internet home improvements site- maybe Thumb Tac. I was getting quotes from a lot of vendors including Pella whose windows I had in my home in Connecticut. My husband thought we should consider vinyl replacement windows in North Carolina due to humidity. The idea of vinyl was a complete turnoff to me because of the low quality look so I was not even going to consider it- then I got many calls from window nation- the telemarketing of this company is unrelenting. I finally took a call and when I learned there was an actual showroom I decided to go take a look. I was impressed they had a showroom and a location. That gave me piece of mind. The rubdowns looked okay- not completely cheesy but definitely not beautiful like Marvin, Anderson or Pella. I thought I may as well get an estimate. After a lengthy in home estimate process of measuring and discussing options the quote came in - OVER $140,000- before "discount." Then the discount brought the price down in the $60's still higher than ANDERSON and PELLA! For literally plastic windows. The Anderson presentation blew this company away with details on every aspect of the window- in the showroom presentation and home estimate from Window Nation I got none of that. This is beyond a rip-off. I can only imagine the customers who have unwittingly not done their research and been ripped off by this company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Very disappointed in pricing. I called and made appointment for free estimate because of the buy two get two windows free. The gentleman was nice and professional. At the end of the consultation he charged me for all the windows. I asked him to break down exact costs and he refused. I was getting charged for all windows. What a waste of time. Only buy here if you are okay paying more then $1500 a window. Felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. read more

I thought this was a GREAT company but their communication does nothing for their customers. I received a quote for 10 windows but due to budget I ordered 6 but did give a deposit for the 10. Rain made the install date change and financially we were able to get 2 more windows but told that we had to put another deposit down and may not have them in time to do it all together and that was fine but I was hoping. And then I was told that of I pay with a card that there was now a discount GREAT. I did not get any confirmation or call take sure all was ok or if my other windows came in so I called the day before my installation to make sure all was OK and no call back till the morning of installation and for them to tell me that my other windows came in and I didn't have those rooms close to ready to have them done. Where was that call to let me know they were in. And when they came to install 8 windows they only sent 2 men, who were AWSOME but only 2 men and wanted them to not only install but help me move my furniture for the windows and they ran short of materials and I live far out in the country and that would be a 2 hour trip in total at least and expected them to finish it all in one day. This was very upsetting that Brian, their manager to even expect that. Ioved furniture as fast as I could and hurt for days after and Gino the one installer was AMAZING and very respectful and would recommend him for anything but Brian for nothing. But Gino could not finish in the one day and he came back on a day that was good for me. He did beautiful work despite how he was treated by Brian. And when I paid in full by card there was NO discount given. Peter the one that did the estimate was GTEAT until there was a problem and then he didn't know how to return any messages. What was supposed to be a great day turned into a nightmare of lack of communication and disrespect for their workers and not honoring what I was told with a discount when I paid in full by card. I have so much more they could have done but I don't think I can pit myself through that again. Anderson would be a much better choice if they run a special. I wish I read all of the reviews BEFORE we had someone come out for a 60 min (actually 2 HOUR 15 min) free estimate/presentation on windows. We literally just wanted a quote (which we didn't get until about the 2 hour mark) and to match our other updated windows. We said several times this was just to get an idea if it's something we can budget for now or later since we had no clue how much windows cost. Our expectations of window replacement costs were so low even still after the presentation. THAT right there should've been a major red flag that we were not ready to purchase right in that moment AND explained that several times, but yet they (the consultant and the supervisor that was called) continued to push and question us to try to buy. SUPER tacky by the way to call in "results" to a supervisor in front of the customer. They definitely need a new sales tactic and presentation if they want to win people's business and to be competitive and successful in today's market. Know your customer, their expectations, and their needs and be courteous of THEIR time! Just make sure to do your research and get several quotes from other companies first to compare. read more

Buyer beware! After a 2 hour presentation the price went from $60k to $34k but only if we committed right then and there! We were very clear that while we were serious about purchasing windows we were going to interview 3 companies and they were the first. Interesting that the rep kept comparing their prices to how overpriced Anderson is (and they are) yet his original quote was more than my neighbor recently spent with Anderson. To make matters worse the manager called my husband the next day to offer them at $30k. Needless to say I have zero trust! Their dated used car approach does not work with me and should not for you either! Do your homework! I will say that they seem to have a nice product. However, we only saw their top of the line product as we want black exterior and that is the only one they offer it in. We were told that they only offered it in that product because black wasn't very popular yet I personally know 4 people that have had black windows installed in the past year! read more
