During my evaluation I told them I injured myself bike riding after surgery and the first thing they did was stick me on an exercise bike, which I got off of. Despite my better judgement I went back for another session. There was one therapist for six patients. The exercises they gave me caused a great deal of pain. I left and never went back. They never even called to ask me why.

I became the clinical director…read morethere four years ago and did two groups a month, supervised the therapists, helping one to become licensed, and most of all worked with clients helping them overcome substance use disorders. Addiction to drugs - always remembering that alcohol is a drug, is an ongoing problem in our country and GreenLife IOP is doing its part to help end the problem in our small corner of the world. Most of our clients are extraordinary people living regular lives - First responder, nurses, doctors, barbers, college professors, students, stay-at-homme moms, lawyers, just about every job and profession you can think of. All deserving of a chance to rebuild their lives and families. A special thanks to Zvi Itzchaki and Raija Itzchaki, the owners - CEO and COO respectively. They created a family atmosphere for the clients and especially with the staff. I've never worked anywhere else that had staff meetings at five-star restaurants! Besides being excellent employers, they are also great parents of two young men. They have an amazing personal story of love and resilience. To this day, I'm still close friends with someone I had met while in this program and she was offered a grant to attend for free, and ended up leaving because the male owner (Zvi aka Joseph) followed her into the womans bathroom, to do a mandatory UA, almost even into the personal stall, but then stopped and frantically/nervously walked out when he noticed another woman in the bathroom. Although it was a free grant, she immediately left, shaken and traumatized especially having a past involving traumatic experiences which the owners and staff were all already aware of. Mind you, THIS IS COMPLETELY ILLEGAL AND UTTERLY DISGUSTING. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND SHUT DOWN. IMMEDIATELY.

My therapist, Cheryl was a godsend. After a little bit of trial and error, she started to see through my BS and we worked together to help me get better. The nursing and medical staff were always available, they helped straighten out my medication to help me be productive and happy to be alive for the first time in a long time. The collaborative group therapy here was excellent. There was the occasional dud of a facilitator, but they were few and far between in the six months I was going there regularly. Admitting that I wasn't strong enough to do it on my own was hard for me. Calling Agape the first time was the hardest phone call I've ever made. But I'm thankful every day that I did. Because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be around if I hadn't.
