I have 05 trailblazer my transmission is pulling but it want shift into 2nd. When it go up to 35mph it's sound like the truck in neutral I take my foot off gas and hit gas again it'll go on. What seems to be the problem?

Many things can cause this type of problem. I would be best to set a appointment to have it looked at. Pleas call 763-424-6630 to set a day and time to drop it off for inspection.

Very happy I gave this mechanic shop a try. Vehicles are out of my personal knowledge base so I…read moretypically have my husband make decisions with me. After bringing my Trailblazer here I would feel completely comfortable making the decisions on my own. (see photos) They give a comprehensive file with pictures and additional insight to the problems, which is extremely helpful. There were a few questions I had about a couple recommended issues and Pete (who completed my inspection report) was able to clarify them with ease and honesty, so I was able to save money on not having to do that repair. It was more of a riding comfort suggestion so it wasn't a big deal since it doesn't bother me. I received a link to the reports via text and e-mail. For the estimate, you can go down the list, which included each cost, and just click "approve" if you want it done which is very convenient when you are at home. If you have questions call! Like I said above they are very easy to talk to and there was never any feel of pressure. Being pregnant during COVID is a concern but the inside was very clean including the shuttle service vehicle and I was very comfortable being there. They have a drink station there or Dunkin Donuts is next door. I also thought it was neat that they have a big picture window with bar height stools and counter that you can watch the mechanics in the shop. I don't think I've ever seen that before. After the repairs, I called around for other pricing estimates and CBA was around what others were. Some areas were less and some were slightly more. One being the fluid flushes. CBA was about $20-30 more expensive. I am a fairly frugal but I would still choose here versus saving $20 somewhere else, especially if you are getting other work done which could equal out the total price. Plus, you have the photos to prove why the repair needs to be done versus someone basically telling you to trust them.. This is now our first choice for automotive repairs. Good job Christian Brothers Auto, you exceeded my expectations.

Negative: lack of weekend times means you need to make transportation arrangements if you work 5 days / week. I don't like to be talked down to, and that initial phone call felt alright enough for me to solidify an appointment. However, things just went down from there. The coon rapids location kept my car for almost two weeks before a tech was available to look at it. I understood that they were busy, but I had to call multiple times for updates, only to be told I was "next in line," and, "worst case scenario, we'll get to it on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday," etc. Turns out, this entire experience turned out to be full of worse case scenarios. Additionally, I felt like I was being talked down to at every turn. I may not know a lot about cars, but the overall tone of this experience was that I may as well stick with them because no other shop would be able to diagnose the problem. Long story short, I had to get a new car and just pay for the diagnosis, which sucked. AAMCO offered to get rid of my old car for me, and I was expecting at least a few hundred dollars for it, as is typical with junkyard deals, but they never gave me anything. Usually, I would push back and ask more questions, but by that point I was ready to close the deal and never speak to them again. Don't go here! Especially if you're a femme person. Stay far away.
