    Let me start with the most important part! Bill Urbank, who was with us from start to finish when buying our car, was an absolute joy to work with! He made everything so easy, we felt well taken care of and happy to work along side someone as awesome, professional, hard working and funny like Bill! We are happy to return to, not only service our new vehicle in an amazingly beautiful dealership, but to also see Bill! Our CX-30 Preferred AWD is such a blast so far! We have been really enjoying the remote start, heated seats, the way it handles in the snow, as Apple Car Play! Our trade in process was easy and convenient and we got exactly what we wanted for our trade in! Thank you Walser Polar Mazda! We are so happy with our purchase so far, and we can't wait to do more business with this company, and Bill!

However this review is centered around another visit. The Seltos I leased in April 2020, was leaking oil in January 2021. I brought it to the Kia in Bloomington and got nothing but the run around for a week. They told me it would take AT LEAST a month for the repair, on top of the week my car was hanging out there waiting to be diagnosed. I called Martin, explaining the situation, wanting a second opinion. Martin sent someone down that very day to grab my car and equip me with a loaner. Martin was attentive, detailed, and understanding of my frustrations. He kept me in the loop the entire process! Once my car was under the care of Barnett, it was eight days till I was driving my Seltos again!! AND he organized some cosmetic work to be done in the process. Martin went above and beyond in this situation and turned my frown upside down. If you are in need of a new car, but are scared of car salesman, go see Martin at Barnett, he treats you like a person.     Towed my car in after a break in. It sat at the body shop for over a month waiting on parts. The…read morefirst time they said small repairs then waited for about 2 weeks for parts to come in. Only after parts came in did they really look at my car where they discovered wires pulled out from under the steering wheel. This required a different part which we waited for about two weeks as well. Only after the part came in did the body shop discuss this repair with their mechanic who informed them that this job was beyond their capabilities. It was then transferred to the dealership where the price to fix finally bumped it into a total loss. They had my car for over a month knowing it was a car jacking did not check for wires under the steering wheel which is baffling. They also told me midway that a simple glass repair had turning into replacing the whole door. During this month communication was driven largely by me and it didn't seem that much urgency was taken into fixing my vehicle. When I did call they were quick enough to respond and nice enough over the phone however, regular updates I had asked for were not followed through on. In addition for not checking for wires in a car jacking I'm also shocked that they waited to consult the mechanic until after all the parts had come in. Better communication, understanding of the situation, and empathy would have turned a month plus ordeal into a week or two understanding that the mechanic could not preform repairs at the very beginning. Looking at replacing with another Kia however this dealership will not be receiving that business completely as a result of this experience.

Upon entering the front of the store, I was just screamed at by a large dark man wearing sunglasses - screaming at me to move my car. I was only coming in to ASK WHERE to take my car to have it serviced.. again he screamed at me to move it.. I had a sick baby in the car and just had a quick question, (that at this point could have been answered twice), but before even getting to ask, I was screamed at and everyone just looked at him while he did it. I ended up crying and extremely upset all because I had come in quickly to ask where to go. - The man screaming at me was looking to make a sale to the guy in the giant truck behind me, (as were the people around which is why NOBODY helped me-and must've silently agreed with him) but little did he know that the guy in the giant truck behind me was my BOYFRIEND who was there to pick me up from dropping my car off to get serviced. Nice job buddy, you are SO DESPERATE FOR A SALE you neglected to help an ALREADY PAYING CUSTOMER. You people are sick and only care about the big sale then leave your customers to fend for themselves. You should all be so ASHAMED of yourselves for condoning this behavior and doing absolutely NOTHING for me as I leave the building BAWLING!!! [The only kind person in the building was the Teddy who helped me in the service department, and the man that asked me about my pink seat covers..] to the incompetent imbecile who screamed in my face , you should be fired. He was able to get everything done quickly and communicate very well via text to have him approve or decline a couple extra suggestions from the tech working on his car which he explained very well. They even give my puppy a super cute toy to enjoy while we waited. I highly recommend working with Jesse! There is also an awesome female parts advisor (I can't remember her name) who walked me through tire options for his vehicle over the phone yesterday. She gave me straightforward pricing and listened to what I was look for instead of just shoving the most expensive tires my way. I don't recall her name but she deserves major kudos for the assistance! I had called 5 other places before this dealer and they all sounded like they hated their job and didn't care to listen or provide any help over the phone. Her help is what made me drive 40 mins to service there! Flawless transition from parts to BDC service scheduling through the appointment. Awesome job Team White Bear Subaru! We will be bringing our vehicles there for service from here on out!

    Very disappointing...  I have a 2025 Crosstrek.  And have…read morebeen having some on-going issues. * My auto start doesn't seem to work consistently.  Seems to work once every 3-5 times I try to use it. * There is also a blown out/crackling speaker in the back of my SUV - makes a loud static noise when the volume is above 12. * I also am unable to open my trunk, oftentimes having to use a crowbar to open it.  I shouldn't have to break into my own car just to use it. * Also, When it is cold out the inside of my car gets frosted up.  So I am having to scrape the inside of my windows as well as the outside.  This should not be happening!  This is my first Subaru vehicle and this has not been a good experience at all!  I have paid a lot of money to Subaru, only to have a broken supposedly brand new vehicle.  What can be done about this?  I am not going to keep making payments on vehicle that has ongoing issues and IS supposed to be "brand new". The Minnessota Lemon law states: "The Minnesota lemon law covers new motorvehicles purchased or leased in Minnesota.The law covers passenger automobiles, aswell as pickup trucks and vans. The self propelled motor vehicle chassis or vanportion of a recreational vehicle is alsocovered. That means that as long as the"lemon" problem covers warranted portionsof the chassis and van portion of arecreational vehicle, the entire recreationalvehicle may be subject to replacement orrefund!"I have not heard from Subaru - dobt I even will. We walked into the store, obviously clueless, and were immediately approached by every male employee in the store, each of them desperate to offer their expertise. We told them we needed one windshield wiper for a Dodge Minivan. One was designated the "winner" and showed us to the windshield wiper display and looked up the correct model. My friend picked up the appropriate wiper and started walking to the checkout counter when the employee informed us, "I'm sorry, but you can't buy just one. There are two winshield wipers on the car so we can't sell them to you separately." And of course we fell for it. She'd only had her license for 2 weeks and my birthday was still eons away so I hadn't even started taking driver's ed classes. So the both of us clearly had 'GULLIBLE' stamped on our foreheads. I'm not 15 anymore and have since learned that while it's a good idea to replace both your windshield wipers at the same time so they wear at the same rate, you CAN buy one at a time, unlike the information provided by that dope at O'Reilly Auto Parts. So even though I'm not as gullible as I used to be, I still avoid this place on principle and give them the evil eye every time I drive by.
