Not only is the customer service fantastic (which is huge for me, as I am in the industry), but their pricing is honest and cannot be beat. I was called and told what the issue with my vehicle was and what the cost was going to be and ...would I like for them to continue and repair/replace? I mean, this is stuff from my parents' age where the Mechanic calls and tells you what's wrong and what it's going to cost and then asks "would you like for us to go ahead and fix it?" before anything is done to your vehicle. Also, you need to check out their website because they have coupons for paying in cash! That, in and of itself, is huge! And I truly appreciate it! I *highly* recommend Frankie D's for any type of repair your vehicle needs!!!!! They have replaced/repaired my front rotors/pad and today [3/1/2019] they are doing my rear rotors/pads. However, there was no chance to discuss options for the parts -- I could only say yes or no to the repair with parts they selected; with other shops, I have always had the chance to say 'good', 'better' or 'best' for the parts. Also, they make a big deal of "do it all" (not just transmissions). However, that is not true -- they did suspension work but could not do an alignment in-house. It is not honest to say 'do it all' when you can not do the alignment required. I also prefer a shop where the mechanic discusses the situation, which helps me understand my vehicle. A&J apparently made a choice to not offer this service. Overall, I was not satisfied.

The manager quoted $1999, I agreed but after he started said he needed another $225 for gaskets, he took $100 off. UPDATE: 5/6/26 After making this review, I did receive a follow up phone call to discuss the discrepancy in the charges and received a partial refund. Thank you If you want honesty avoid this place! Took my vehicle with only 73,000 in for an engine light and stalling. I had ran a scan which suggested it may be the vvt solenoids. I only went to this facility because I needed it fixed asap and my normal mechanic was booked. I was charged almost $1000 to replace the solenoids only to get a block down the road from the facility before the engine light came back on. Took it right back and was told 2 different error codes were now showing but they had cleared and test drove and to come back if need be. The next day the light came on again with the same initial error code. I told another reputable mechanic what was going on and showed them the invoice of what I had done and they told me that I was grossly overcharged and to take it back to request that they fix it and refund some of my money. I also called my dealership who stated I was overcharged and misdiagnosed. I took it back again and was told the part they initially installed was bad and vehicle was now fixed. I mentioned that I was double charged based on other repair facilities for both the parts and labor (they claimed 2.8 hrs for a 1 hour or less job) and there was no response. Praying I have no further issues but definitely will not be returning or recommending them to anyone else.
