I won my first hotel liquidation auction. I got an awesome sofa and patio furniture for dirt cheap. I was excited! And then.... I realized that I had to get it home on my own. I messaged a bunch of companies on Yelp late in the evening. Hector got back to me quickly and provided a quote that was very competitive. They also provide a truck with their service, which means that I had a one stop shop for getting my stuff home. Hector arrived about 10 minutes early to the auction site and we were actually able to load all the stuff before his crew even got there. They brought it over to my house and unloaded the items exactly where I wanted. They even helped move an existing sofa to the second floor! My experience with them was almost flawless. My entire move took around 1 hour. When it came time to pay, I was told that there was a 2 hour minimum. While understandable (because everyone else I ask has it as well), this was not disclosed during booking or anytime prior. Me and my mom called to only receive a message from a lady. She said she would call back and leave a description of what you want moved. I called yesterday. And this morning. I left a detailed message no return call My mom called today 3 times left a message. No return call I tried the companies web site. Put my info in. For a call. No return message no E mail no phone call nothing. That makes me a little worried if the company can't call back its customers. How is it on showing up on time or even showing up at all. This is the first time that I've ever hired movers so I was a little apprehensive with what to expect. Well, the process pretty much consisted of me doing exactly what I was hoping to do in this move which was not having to lift a finger. I recently moved about a month or two prior to this and did it all myself and it took me about five days. Also adding to my aggravation was the random snowstorm that hit vegas. So I told myself I wanted no part in doing that again especially knowing that I had another move coming up quickly. So I began doing what I always do when I need to find a business and started looking on yelp. I always base my decision on for a business based on their reviews and amount of stars. Very few moving companies seemed to have five stars and I wasn't particularly surprised. Moving is a very stressful situation aside from that there are so many factors and variables that could go wrong; way more possible than things that could go right. All that being said, I'm SO HAPPY I chose this company. He and his partner that day were very courteous, respectful, and it must be said...extremely hard working! I felt bad not helping because I've always been a part of the process but they just took control and made it happen without a single issue. I, however, ran into some issues with the new property and move in rules/times that required me to come back the following day. I was worried thinking damn now I'm going to pay overnight hour charges and my stuff is in their truck, etc. I mean...I couldn't have been more flustered but then found comfort in their ability and willingness to help me figure out what to do and not take advantage of me by charging me through the roof for holding my stuff. I could go on and on but I'll leave you yelpers with this...I'm quite a critic when it comes to honest and genuine service and a company's willingness to provide a completely satisfied customer service experience and they hit the nail on the head here. Hector and his helper just finished moving us and did an incredible job. For what would've taken me and a couple friends hours to do, they did in ONE. They had no problem taking direction as to what to bring where and worked incredibly fast and efficiently. We moved from a second story apartment to another second story apartment and they were able to move all the big furniture without a single scratch or scuff on the walls (which was one of my main concerns because the layouts of both units). We know how much of a pain it is bringing stuff up and down our stairs, but we didn't hear one complaint. They had us scheduled for a certain time, but contacted us because they happened to be available an hour earlier, which was great for us as we were tight on time. I had so much going on that I feel horrible saying I can't remember their names. I believe Raul was one, and cannot even slightly remember the other, but anyways... These guys were phenomenal! I had an appointment for 8pm. Yes, PM! These guys work late which was amazing since I was finally bringing my stuff from out of state and was not going to make it back during normal mover hours. They confirmed via text about 2 hours prior and then showed up about 15 minutes early and got straight to work. these 2 guys unloaded my packed to the brim 15 foot truck in an hour, up some very narrow stairs. They were super quick, and very nice. Noticed boxes that said clothes, shoes, etc and asked if I wanted them set aside for easy access. As far as I know absolutely nothing was damaged. I've already recommended them to 2 other people that are moving soon as well. These guys saved the day and I cannot thank them enough.
