It's not often that I take the time to write a review, but my experience with Jackie Movers was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share it. Simply put, this was the best moving experience I've ever had--from the first phone call to the final box unloaded. Karol responded to my initial inquiry quickly, accommodated my preferred moving dates, and was completely transparent about pricing from the start. Their rates were very reasonable, but don't mistake affordable for low-quality service. She even called the day before the move, exactly as promised, to confirm all the details. On moving day, Edgar and his crew arrived at 7:30 a.m.--a full 30 minutes early. In all my years of moving, I had never experienced movers arriving ahead of schedule. After a quick walkthrough of the house, including the revelation that it was a three-story home, there was no hesitation, no complaints, and no discussion of extra fees. Edgar simply smiled and said, "Okay, we'll get started." The team worked tirelessly in the intense Las Vegas summer heat, handling everything with professionalism and care. They packed and loaded efficiently, treated our belongings with respect, and even secured the old house when they finished loading. (While I was still inside! LOL) Throughout the day, they remained friendly, hardworking, and genuinely kind. It was a pleasure getting to know them during the move. What impressed me most was the combination of outstanding service and value. When I told my wife the final cost, she was genuinely shocked--it came in at less than half of what we had budgeted. After collecting multiple quotes during our planning process, Jackie Movers was already among the most reasonably priced options. Yet they delivered a level of service that far exceeded any moving company I've worked with before. Edgar and his crew set a standard that others should aspire to. I had really high hopes after reading all of the great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was not a great experience. They showed on time, I walked them around to show them everything and I specifically said that I didn't want any plastic wrap to be used. They nodded ok. The move was only 5 miles and I had already moved all of the boxes and small items beforehand. They only had to move the furniture and the majority was already downstairs and a large portion in the garage. I had also broken down everything that needed breaking down, including beds. I have had to move many times over the years and know how to pack a truck and how long a move should take. They got to work right away, but I noticed that they were spending a lot of time taping around furniture blankets in the Master. They literally spent 30-45 mins just taping furniture blankets to a couple of pieces. While they were doing this, I was carrying more things out to the garage and already packed up my SUV with belongings by myself. I walked upstairs to find a wardrobe cabinet wrapped with enough plastic that it looked like it was being shipped to China, while another guy was spending time breaking my desk down into further pieces that I didn't want because it was starting to break. I tried to get him to stop, but he didn't because he didn't understand English. I went to the main guy and mentioned again that I didn't want plastic wrap and he started to get upset and unprofessional. He then looked at me and said, "If you want us to break your stuff, we can break your stuff. No problem." I then noticed that they were struggling to pack the truck and wasn't really sure where things should go. In the meantime, the time that I booked for was almost over. Somehow, they didn't realize that I had only booked a certain time and they thought they could continue milking the clock. I called management and that made things worse. Many things were damaged since they didn't know how to pack and organize the truck. The wardrobe that was wrapped to go overseas had locked drawers. The keys were sitting in the locks so that they wouldn't be lost. They locked the drawers, took out the keys and never gave them to me. I now have locked drawers that I can't get into and they still damaged the dang thing even with all the plastic. Overall, the company was very unprofessional and did not do a good job. I had to rent a truck myself the next day to move things that they felt they couldn't move, including a curio cabinet with glass. I moved it by myself without a scratch. They need to hire more experienced and professional movers. Maybe I just unlucky with the employees that was sent, but I definitely won't be recommending them to anyone. read more

Quick, efficient, professional, and very affordable! This was my first time needing to hire professional movers, transitioning to a third floor walk-up, and I am sooooo glad that I did! We used a 2 man team, they showed up when scheduled and finished the move both load & unload in the approx amount of time scheduled. They will do anything to stretch the time as much as possible. What happened in my cases I lost my car key and couldn't meet them at the storage. They waited for me at the storage while I was frantically looking for my car key then one of them. The ringleader said he's gonna pick me up. He took his sweet time we got to the storage. I opened it and they started unloading. This was supposed to be a 3 hour move. It ended up being 6 hour ordeal and I was charged $1000, I don't know for what, as they were supposed to be $110 per hour. Probably paid for packaging, and of course, it took double the time as i mysteriously lost my car key in the middle of the move, they left with the truck. I was supposed to meet them at the storage but couldn't find my car key. I had to contact the company took a while to get the message to them and then one of them. The ringleader said he can pick me up which he did which took him an hour to get to me from the storage which was 25 minutes drive. I was devastated about the car key, but he assured me not to worry, he said he knew I was going to find it once they unloaded my stuff into storage. So when I learned I owed them $900 for one bedroom to storage 25 minute distance, and that they only took Venmo as payment, which didn't sit right with me and I was already suspicious about the car key after he had assured me I would find it. Still I was stupid enough to tip them $100. After they left, I go in my storage and my car key was sitting on top of the furniture right there very visibly placed. It dawned on me that I hadn't misplaced my car key. I was being defrauded. read more

They were very careful and accommodating. We had a cheap pressboard shelf break and they were so apologetic, but it was being held together with a prayer as it is so no harm done! read more

What a crew! They showed up a few minutes early ready to work. Not a scratch on anything after they were done and it only took 5 hours to move a 3400 sqft house full of furniture. I couldn't believe it. Granted, I was only moving 5 miles but it was amazing how careful the 4 guys were and how hard they worked. And all 4 guys were extremely polite and friendly. I used these movers in Feb and they did a pretty good job. They weren't able to fit all the furniture in the truck which was surprising because I'd never had that issue before and I had less furniture at that point than I did the previous time I moved. But I figured they did well enough to use them again in August. That's the reason for two stars instead of one. The second time I did not see them use any kind of protective material on any of the furniture. I figured they would take care of it when loading onto the truck since everything was undamaged the first time. But 4 items arrived damaged which is way too many to ignore. It was very hot out and my guess is they were rushing to finish which I understand, but it doesn't make it ok. I wouldn't trust them to move me again. read more

Great job! The guys pulled in a few minutes early. We did a quick walk through, and they started gettin after it! My wife made some lunch for us, we ate, and they were on their way to our new house. I left alittle after they did so they beat me there. To my joy and surprise, they were backed in the driveway and had started unloading. Wow! Talk about gettin after it! Do yourself a favor and hire professional movers when you move. If you know me, you know that I'm not the one to rent a uhaul and carry stuff. I like saving money but I don't like workin my ass off. Very disappointed. This company has a lot of positive reviews but my experience was anything but, Easy, local move. Not much but they scratched my refrigerator, didn't wrap anything, including expensive large tvs, Missed items, took things they were supposed to leave. Sloppy and not terribly concerned about protecting my items, Would not rehire or recommend. read more
