We used Miguel and his 3 man crew twice in three months....both before and after our home sale. Both experiences were excellent. They are super-polite, quick, careful and conscientious. We had a lot of large, fragile, heavy items and the movers were careful not to damage anything.....anywhere. They never stopped for a break and made sure to place our furniture exactly where we wanted. We needed our grand piano (which a piano mover had previously moved) shifted an inch to the right and these men did so without complaint. My veteran husband was offered a discount. Miguel was my contact guy, and he was very efficient and communicative with me prior to moving day & during the move. I used A Fast Movers today to move from a two bedroom apartment (2nd floor), to a two story house. The minimum fee was $160/h for three men and a truck. Paying by the hour, I was concerned they would take their time, and I would have to play the bad guy. Nope. When Miguel show up, he showed me the clock. Literally an hour and fifty five minutes later, the had moved two bedrooms, a full living room set with a sectional and tv, a dinning room set, 15 to 20 boxes, and some miscellaneous items, including a fifteen minute drive. Flat fee and everything was included so the price was known upfront. As for the move, they were quick movers! Everything was done efficiently by three movers. It's a two hours minimum and it's charged by the hour. They come with a large truck and are also very careful about your furniture, your house surrounding i.e. stairs, and overall, really nice. !!DO NOT COME HERE WAIST OF TIME!! I literally waited an 1 hour and 30 mins at the storage for them to show up and nothing I called multiple times and miguel answered said that the truck originally had issues and was going to "get another team to come" I waited an additional 20 mins to get a call back and miguel said that they crew was "on the way" and would be here at "10a" I waited 15 mins till 10 and nothing I even gave them the benefit of the doubt with the great reviews. I had a hard stop at 11:30 and made sure that was communicated. miguel spoke with his manager and they even gave me $40 off which I I accepted (this was after my first call with regarding the 30 minute tardiness) after that I waited an additional 24 mins for the crew after 10a I called once again and he told me they were 12 mins out! the original time was from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M.. I asked if I still had to pay that 2 hour minimum since they were already 1 hour and 30m late and he said yes! I then proceeded to tell him to cancel the appointment because I will not be paying for work. That was not done! At that point I only had one hour to get everything out, and I made sure that my deadline was clear to him. Not only was this a waste of my time, but the lack of communication and professionalism was unacceptable and horrible I am beyond frustrated and irritated. !!!DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE EVER!!! read more

Scheduled our move well in advance but received text at 11:00 PM that our move the next day would be delayed. Instead of 11:00 AM it would be 5:00 PM due to problems completing the move of a prior customer. We had worked very hard to be prepared to move on time and had confirmed our schedule in advance twice.. We lost trust and confidence in A Fast. We didn't feel certain the move would be done in the evening either. Our logistics were out the window. The fact that we were only provided a photo of a vehicle insurance binder instead of proof of business liability, workers comp, or any bond also rattled our confidence in the outfit. As this was an interstate move we were apprehensive anyway. The lack of professionalism led us to cancel with them. After seeing so many five star ratings on Yelp we were truly disappointed that our expectations could not be met. read more

(End of write up has my response to his response of blatant falsehoods) Miguel called me, offered a higher price than what I had set up 2 days ahead, but he could do it the next morning. I accepted, he confirmed & asked that I email. Photos are the entire rest of the story for all to judge for themselves. 1)He confirmed the voice call and appointment as laid out in email not shown. 2)45 mins later, he can't do it, change of time request 3)Big problems for me, domino of others affected. I explain it & request compromise. 4) He has perfect solution, better price and in morning with instructions. 5) I thank him for being honorable and follow instructions. (6-9) I don't hear back, I look up the business he had covering for him, it's a 1 star different phone number on yelp. I find another business by the phone # he gave, and that biz is also problem ridden. I email my concerns. Don't leave me hanging, phone number shut off all morning, no response to emails or voicemails from his back up, and no response to my calls or the emails provided. Miguel intentionally caused hardship for many others. He easily could have said he's not doing the job. He chose to inflict hardship instead. This is the lowest one can go in any type of interaction. Intentional false promises & ghosting is simply appalling behavior. If he would do this to me, I don't care how many good reviews came B4 mine, this is who he & his business are today! 3 days later, nothing from him or his backup plan. Inexcusable & deliberate! (He responded, Here's the reality. 1) He had 3 days to return calls and the 5 unanswered emails. He's only sorry he has to defend absurdity. 2) He couldn't honor the agreement, I suggested a compromise, he responded with what anyone would think is his way to cover his broken agreement. I never said I wouldn't pay the original rate 3) Crucial missing context text messages?, LMAO. I had to email him because I don't have text, he knows that. That is why I had to email him to generate his confirmation. He's blatantly lying. 4) We had offer and acceptance TWICE, once on the phone & once in his confirmation email. He was hired.
