First of all, I'm not sure Super Shuttle actually exists anymore. It seems to be a website that solicits business for another company. There were two other companies involved in the whole thing, Execucar and Prime Time Shuttle. Next, it turns out that both of our drivers were sent from LA - for a trip from Redlands to ONT??? I'm going to tell you about our return trip first because that was worse. (I booked both at the same time.) We had two layovers on the flight home and at each one I checked for a message from the company - nothing. So when we boarded the last flight we were two hours from the pick up time and I still had nothing. Just as we walked up the ramp at ONT, I received a text saying to contact my driver if I hadn't heard from them - but I had never received any driver info. Well, it seems like they never booked a driver, because I called the number in the text (for the office) and after 10 minutes they told me the drive was on the way and would be there in 7-10 minutes. This was right at the 11:45 p.m. pick up time. This was a lie. The (poorly designed) tracker showed the driver in the East LA area when I started to follow it. We were picked up at 12:30 a.m. - 45 minutes late. I guess I should be thankful that we were picked up at all. I do have to say that Yerar, our driver, was professional, apologetic, and courteous - and got us home safely. The driver for the first trip arrived super early, so we felt rushed. Then, he was falling asleep as he drove (it was 4:45 a.m.) We talked to him just to keep him awake. His nav was set to the corporate office of the airport - which is on the opposite side of the runways from the terminals. He had no clue and we had to tell him how to get to Terminal 2. He also complained about how poorly he was being paid for the drive - maybe fishing for a bigger tip (which was included in the price). But we got there alive and without giving him a bigger tip. BTW, the online tracker for the second trip also had the corporate office as the pick-up point - if this is your business shouldn't you know where the terminals are - info that was in the reservation? I sent an email to the company the next day - a week ago - and have had no response. If you're in the IE, it looks like there are plenty of other quality choices - use one of them!

I found Airport Rides and read the positive reviews, so I requested a quote. Within two minutes of sending my quote request, I received a phone call from a gentleman named Anthony. I provided Anthony with pertinent information, including the date, location, number of passengers, luggage information, and return transportation details. Within 15 seconds, Anthony provided me with a round-trip quote, tax, and tip for his drivers, which was hundreds of dollars less than what other shuttle companies had quoted me for one-way transportation. I had to confirm three times during our phone conversation whether there were any additional fees, since his price was sooo much better than anyone else's. Anthony advised me that he was the owner of his new shuttle company and that, as a new business, excellent customer service and competitive pricing were the keys to its success. For our roundtrip airport transport, we confirmed twice over the phone that we needed a rear-facing car seat and a vehicle that could fit five passengers with luggage. The driver showed up without the correct car seat, and the car was too small for our bags. When we brought this up, we were told the driver "forgot." This created a stressful and unsafe ride for our baby. On our return ride, the same driver was over 20 minutes late, joked on the phone that "no one's coming," and when we asked for an ETA, gave no clear answer. When my elderly father expressed frustration, the driver threatened to leave us at the airport. This was deeply unsettling--especially since the driver knew our home address. After the trip, I spoke with Rich (the manager), who acknowledged both incidents were unacceptable and promised a refund and a free ride to make it right. Neither happened. There were 20 high school seniors and 4 chaperones and we were picked up on time in a clean, beautiful bus, with wonderful service. We spent 10 hours going to different stops in LA and everything was perfect, including an ice chest of ice-cold water! We used them again on our trip to the airport a few days later and same experience. Communication was perfect from inquiry about pricing to contracting and during the trip.
