I thought o would give it a shot and boy I know why I am not a chicken or chicken wing eater When I had my restaurants we smoked chicken wings, deep fried them in the best oil and kept our oil cleaned We bought A -Grade wings TRAP WINGZ, In my opinion is the worst ive ever Akeen in the wing businesa The front cashier lady was very comforting and with a smile The rest of the staff was dingy uniforms like they just got up and put the same black dusty uniforms back on. Cooking without hair nets with long braids swinging everywhere The kitchen slash guards are concentrated oil burn all over the vents hood and deep fryers How the health department has not shut them down has to be lack of the city of Atlanta doing thier job. Celebrity owner perks I guess NOW TO THE CHICKEN: #OMG These people charged $12.99 for six (6) baby pigeon wings . Let's be clear that means the smallest wings allowed to be sold Grade D" wings The wings they give away at 12 cents a portion = wing and Trap Wing is selling at $2.00 per wing The memphis seasoning was all seasoning and Yhe very cheap brand had so much NSG sodium - salt I gagged off tge first bite and spat it back out They were fries so hard I couldn't tell the meet from the bone . This is the most horrible fast food wings spot in america . If yelp had a negative rating they would get a -100 I threw the whole Orde in the trash DONE!
Had just arrived in Atlanta from a late flight. Was wondering what was I going to eat now that I was back on U.S. soil. I knew there was Waffle House around the corner from where I was staying and at first, I had settled on placing a to-go order but I checked Yelp and saw that there was a wing spot just around the corner. I asked the guy working the front desk at the hotel about Trap Wingz and he said he just got some himself and he highly recommended it. They're located inside a gas station so while you wait you can grab your some other essentials while you wait. The cashier was very friendly and explain some of the flavors we had questions about. There were many patrons waiting on orders so I just knew the food was going to be bussing. I got the Trap Sauce and Honey Hot, sprinkled gently with Lemon Pepper on them and a side of fries. Honestly probably the best wings I've ever had in a while. The wings are a decent size, not too small nor too big. The sauces were a combustion and expression of flavors. I would warn to be careful of the heat level - I had sweat rolling my eyelids. But the pain was so good. Highly recommend!

Service was really nice, and it's still a decent place just very average for me. The price also felt a little high for the quality. Overall: 3/5, not bad, just didn't stand out.

I ordered the boneless wings, and they were surprisingly good for a restaurant in a gas station. If I'm looking for a quick and affordable wing dinner, I'll definitely return. The wings were fresh, flavorful, and had a satisfying crunch. The servers were friendly, and the grab-and-go setup is convenient for a gas station.
Maaaan! I was put ON! After a late night out we ended up at the gas station. I was hungry and confused. I knew we were going to get some food but I wasn't familiar with this place, we stepped in around 2am, right before the crowd came! I order the "Trapper of the Year Combo" which is a double smash burger, with a 6 piece wing (lemony pepper hot) and fries. The wait was decent and our food was cooked fresh. It tasted amazing, from seasoned fries, to the butter toasted buns I was satisfied. They included a 6- piece wing too, OMG! This meal was a 100/10.... At 2:30 am this place was PACKED, and everybody behind the counter was working! The staff even had pleasant attitudes considering how busy it was.

The burger was hot, fresh, greasy, and delicious. It was definitely everything I was hoping for in a smash burger, so I have no complaints about it. I didn't like chips that came with it. I was hoping for crinkle cut fries but that's just my preference. I won't deduct a star for that. This is not a standalone restaurant, it's located inside of a gas station. So there's no dine-in option and you should plan your take your food to-go. There was a line when I arrived, but it was moving. The staff was friendly enough and the wait wasn't too long either. I'm looking forward to visiting Atlanta again and when I do I will be trying their wings. They looked really good! I would recommend stopping by if you're in the neighborhood or craving some comfort food.

Although some ppl will charge extra for subbing onion rings, others won't. The chicken wings are a solid 8.5/10 The sandwiches are what I really come for!!! The smash burger, Philly and chopped cheese are all 10's!!! I do wish you could get bacon on the sandwiches. Definitely one of the better places to get wings and they are open late.
I went to Trap Wingz yesterday for the BOGO. On Tuesdays you can get 2 trapper of the year combos for the price of 1. The combo includes a smash burger with 2 patties, 6 wings and fries. The burger was so good and filling. I just wish you didn't have to pay extra for toppings like lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The toppings are $1 each. The burger comes with grilled onions and their special trapper sauce. I would return just for the burger. On Wednesday the BOGO is the Philly cheesesteak and on Thursday it's the chopped cheese combo. Each combo comes with 6 wings so it's a really good deal to split with someone or have a meal now for yourself and save 1 for later.
I ordered my food online and only had to wait about 15 minutes after arriving. It is much better to order online. This place is inside a Circle K so you should have plenty of parking and be able to shop for some drinks. The wings are top notch. The chopped cheese was decent but not that good.

Gas station wings did not have to go this harddd! I visited this food stall located inside of a gas station and the food I had here was really good! My friend and I split the 5 Borough Trapper Combo for $19.99 which comes with chopped cheese, 6 piece wings of your choice, and fries. The chopped cheese was pretty good. It was meaty and cheesy. I also liked the bun which was buttery. For the wings, we got the wet lemon pepper wings and those were so so good. I'm not usually a wings person, but these were delicious. I loved the buttery, peppery, and tangy flavor of the wings which were nicely fried and crispy. The meat was moist and succulent. Just wow. The fries were also good and standard and I liked dipping them in the ranch (you get a choice of ranch or blue cheese for your wings). I also loved the service. The girl helping me with my order was super friendly and engaging. Would highly recommend this spot and next time I'm in Atlanta, you best know I'm coming back for the lemon pepper wings! read more

Keeping it short--I'd been hearing the hype, and since I live pretty close, I finally decided to give it a try. I was hesitant because people rave about wings all the time, and I've been left disappointed (and hungry) more than once--especially with a nice Saturday night buzz. I ordered the Trapper of the Year combo, which comes with 6 wings, a Smash Burger, and fries. The burger was the star--super delicious. The wings were tasty too, just really small. They do offer a ton of flavors, though. Now I know: if you're serious about wings, go for at least a 10-piece. Customer service was on point. My order was ready as promised, but I've seen reviews saying they get packed--so just be mindful of potential delays. Not sure if the wings are the best in Atlanta, but they're definitely solid. Not only can you get some gas, but the food is gas too. I didn't know what to expect from a restaurant located in a gas station, but to my surprise, the ambiance was cute and creative. But the star of the show was the FOOD. Nothing would have prepared me for the chicken wings, and that chicken Philly had me singing the Fresh Prince song. I love my wings fried hard, and baby, they were cooked to perfection. Full of flavor, and the sauce was finger-licking good. I ate way past consumption and got the itis, but it was so worth it! They found a friend in me, and I will be back! read more

I am actually addicted to this place. Some weeks I may order 2 or 3 times because it is just that good. They have the best fries you could ever imagine! My favorite hands down is the trap sauce wings. It is like a sweet and savory flavor! I also like a classic mild or lemon pepper/mild. I do wish they had a lemon pepper wet or just more options that were more savory instead of sweet and savory. But nothing could stop me from coming back. Pro tip: order online or through Uber eats so your order is ready by the time you get there! read more
Got the combo with the chopped cheese and wings for lunch. Sauce on the wings was recommended to be the most popular and is their 'Trap Sauce'. I thought the wings left a lot to be desired so I'd likely try another flavor next time. Chopped cheese fell apart as soon as I picked it up but definitely put the cheese in chopped cheese. I enjoyed it along with the fresh, well-seasoned fries. Food was done in about 10 minutes and was fresh and hot. Only recommendation I have it silverware and at least napkins in the bag. I had to see what the hype was about! The staff welcomed me with welcome to the trap to start the experience. Provided recommendations and the food was ready in 10 mins. It's located in a gas station but everything was clean and organized. The fries were crispy and tried the trap wings ( sweet and spicy) and hot/lemon pepper. The wings were good but felt like the trap wing sauce made the wings a little soggy. I would def recommend! read more

I have been following this business on IG for a while. I realized I was nearby and decided to try them out. I'm glad I did, however I had to take away one star for the wings bc i did not care for the lemon pepper wings. Next time i will try a different wing flavor. Sunday I attempted to order food on their website. The website order option was not working. I tried the next option to place a pickup order via DoorDash linked on the website. I submitted my order and paid at 10:54 pm. I was given a pick up time of 11:20 pm. I arrived at the store and showed the employees my receipt and order number at the pick up counter. Both employees told me they didn't have my order in the system. Please be careful when using online ordering with this business. My money was taken and I never recieved my food. They are stealing from people. read more
The wings are excellent, cooked well and flavorful. I had the honey gold and the yayo flavors. I definitely recommend getting their wings. The crack okra tastes really good. The service was great, friendly staff. It is out of a gas station location so it looked clean at the trap wings section. Next time I'm in ATL I will come and try it again. read more

I came here for the first time the other day. I waited 20 min for my food to be ready after ordering. I got the trapper of the year combo with lemon pepper wings. I asked for wet lemon pepper but got dry. The burger was better than expected. The wings were nice and crispy but were small. I would come back but would probably order online so I don't wait as long. read more
I was starving in Buckhead after a long day and I saw Trap Wingz on Uber Eats. I ordered the 6 piece with fries with jerk sauce. I was shocked at how great these wings and fries were especially after waiting forever on the UberEats person. Good crinkly fries and good sauce. The jerk did have a little spice to it. FYI. It was so good I woke up and ordered it again for lunch. This will be my new go-to whenever I'm in the Buckhead area! read more

Updating this post since I didn't have a picture prior. I crave trap wingz more than I crave wingz from anywhere else. The yayo wingz is something different. Strawberry jerk is delicious as well. Service is usually fine; it's busier late nights so it'll take a little longer to get your food, but it's worth it. 10/10 best crack wingz read more

At first, it was hard to find the place but then I realized that it was in a gas station so not really a place for you to sit down and eat at lol but the food was really good and so was the service! The wait time wasn't too long either I was actually surprised about how fast they got the food to me! read more

My husband and are in town visiting from Houston. Trap Wings was recommended and proclaimed to have the best Wings in ATL. It's located in a Circle K gas station. We ordered the 15 piece Wings with fries, half Mild and half Honey Cajun. Customer service was pleasant and food was served hot. However, the size of the wings were unacceptable ( tiny) Very disappointing. The fries were decent. I love that the business is black owned but the wing proportions were not of quality or worth the cost. Not my favorite wings in Atlanta but give it try. read more
