Trapeze High entrance

This establishment and staff are amazing! My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to do an activity together that's out of our comfort zone and this was the perfect thing. From the start everything was phenomenal, the staff was welcoming, patient, attentive and most importantly they all want you to have fun. 10/10 we highly recommend. My boyfriend and I could not stop talking about our experience here. We immediately booked our next session at the end of our lesson. I would post more video but I want you guys to be pleasantly surprised like we were.

Was gifted a class for my birthday and for someone who is absolutely petrified of heights, I couldn't have had a better experience. The staff is incredible and they all make this a positive and comforting time. I had so much fun and felt safe the whole time. 10/10.

I bought a groupon for this and gave it to my son and daughter, both 13. It was a great experience and I recommend it to anyone thinking about it. My son is afraid of heights and they were so kind and patient with him, he was able to get up there and conquer some of his fears and that was really fun to see. The instructors go over some basic moves before each person's turn and the rest of the team guides them and gives instructions. They follow covid protocals and use safety ropes, nets, and harness' My daughter loved it and already booked another session to go back. I would def. Recommend this activity no matter your experience or age.

My husband & I went to a beginners class this past Saturday, and it was SO FUN! The staff is spectacular, and the other people in the class were really fun & encouraging as well :) The staff took us step-by-step through training for different aspects, it was quick to go from one thing to another, but never so fast that we felt confused or intimidated. They really make it so easy for a beginner to enjoy it. Between the harness, nets, safety lines, and expert staff, we always felt 100% safe & secure. We loved it so much we already paid for a couple more classes & plan to bring our daughters back to try it out too! If you're on the fence about trying it, just GO, you'll have a blast!

We just celebrated my daughter's 14th birthday there and all of the kids raved it was the best birthday they've ever been to. My daughter already wants to celebrate next year's birthday there as well! The owners are so lovely and easy to work with, and their entire staff is amazing.

If you want an amazing day with something you think is impossible try a session at Trapeze High! You are going to be amazed that you can do the impossible. The staff and the school itself are amazing! They are clean, professional and safety is a top priority! Surprise yourself at Trapeze High!

I really enjoyed flying through the air and being caught by a trapeze man. It was fun and I felt euphoric. I'm hoping to return soon.

I bought a Groupon and it was worth every penny! So much fun, but hands down, one of the scariest things I've ever done in my life, lol. Other reviews mention this, but don't be worried about the fact that it's in someone's backyard in a bit of a remote neighborhood in Escondido. The equipment is legit and very safe, and while the staff can come off as a bit brusque, they absolutely know what they're talking about and are just interested in making sure everyone has a fun and safe experience. The sign-in process was pretty informal, but they had us each sign a release (expected). Dave is your main man (he was dapper in a top hat & blue-tipped long silver hair that day). He got us all suited up with a safety harness, and then ran through the basics. He does go through the instructions pretty quickly, so be sure to pay attention and ask questions if you have them. The class was a mix of regulars (they have different "membership" packages available) and first timers, so it was great to watch the experienced flyers in action. They were also great at giving advice about what to do. Every flyer has to climb up the 20+ foot narrow metal ladder to get to a small platform. The ladder moves a bit, but is secure, and there's a safety hook that attaches to your harness as well. Chris was waiting at the top to unhook me from the ladder line, and reattach me to the actual trapeze safety lines. He was a bit gruff at first too, but not in a mean way at all. Once I admitted I was terrified, he was awesome at talking me through the entire process of what I should do & what to expect. By the 4th time I was up there, we were chatting about random stuff (Downtown Abbey, of all things). Issac was initially working the trapeze wire/line from the ground - this is the line they use to make sure that even if under the very rare occasion when you might let go when you shouldn't, you'll fall into the net slowly and safely. He was super friendly and offered up lots of advice as well. Later on, Dave took over on the line, and Isaac climbed up to be our catcher. My first time up was just to try a basic swing (arch back like a reverse banana, really). Second time up, I tried to get my feet up to hang upside down, but I didn't make it. Third time up, I hung upside down, and tried the back flip, but that didn't work at all, and Issac lowered me down into the net instead. My last/4th time up it was time to try the arm catch. Unfortunately I hesitated a second too long on the platform, and missed grabbing Issac's arms by a few inches. Dave was great though, and talked me through staying on the bar, and trying the back flip again (successfully this time!). The main thing I'd recommend is listen to all of them - they yell, but just so they are sure you hear them when you're up high & in motion. If they say HEP (that means jump), jump. If they tell you to swing your legs one way or the other, do it. And when they say let go, do it. They are watching you in the air, and know exactly the right time to do all of it. Hope to make it back sometime so I can finally do the arm catch!

This was a great experience for the 50th birthday of the paterfamilias. I am going to write this in chronological order. Got on-line, ordered some Trapeze lessons for the spouse and and male progeny unit. Showed up on the day, drove to Escondido. They have some great directions on the website. Print those and ignore the TomTom,VZ Navigator or any other tech tool. The place was unprepossessing. Looks like a backyard with an abstract sense of landscape design. Not to worry, keep moving and you will see the trapeze area that looks very professional. There are still many odds and ends around, but this is not important as you start to talk to the Trapeze trainers and realize that they know their stuff. The trainers were great, fun and funny. Dave has a slightly crusty sense of humor, but is a crackup. There is some yelling as others mentioned, but in order to be heard as you fly through the air, yelling is necessary. The paterfamilias and son had a great time. I declined to attend as the size of my tush to arm ratio indicated that defying the law of physics might cause me to look like the black knight in Monty Python. My only downside was the 115 degree weather. Can't tie that to the trapeze school but I would go there for some fun after the heat has subsided. I would recommend this to anyone who want to have a cool and unusual experience.

Which makes sense since they have no actual teaching credentials. Anyone considering doing "pro-track" or any sort of "advanced" workshop - DO NOT!! They have a zero perfect success rate. The first two people in "ProTrack" left (I was the first). More who have joined have since left. Only people in it that stay in it are kids that grew up there and have been groomed to deal with the disorganization. Their only claim to fame is doing a SeaWorld show decade(s) ago. There was no curriculum, conditioning was just doing a checklist sheet they give their little kids too, and they were always late. Not to mention they cared more about what fast food they are going to order in that day more than being on time or actually communicating with athletes. This is not a real training program. Only works if you want to pay $650/month for open gym time. I could go on for AGES but I won't. Most unprofessional and lowkey pathetic places I've ever been because Nicole and Victor are lazy, unprofessional, and not good coaches, communicators, or even people. They care about money and making themselves look more successful than they are. Peel back the curtains and you'll see some washed up bullsh^t with a pretty bow on it. They even lied on a panel at VivaFest in 2024 (multiple in person witnesses can attest and provide evidence of all of their lies). Do not go here if you want to be able to trust anyone, have good communication, and especially don't go if you want quality high level coaching. Happy to answer any specific questions anyone may have. I wish I could have saved the $$$ they so happily took without providing any value. They fought someone else on the programs credit card company to try to f&ck them over and steal more of their money after they left too. This place is sad. Run.

Aerial is a pretty small community and I've come to see that most studios fall into one of two categories: high caliber instruction but coaches are mean, or really kind coaches but classes are only recreational. This place has been able to do both to a 10 - coaches that are warm and genuine and care about the kids' personal development, AND super high caliber instruction with a huge runway of opportunity to advance and excel. I wish we lived closer and could come more often to really take advantage of all the classes. Living far away, we can only make it in a couple of days a week, but it's all worth it for what you get here. They are fostering a team dynamic and invest and the kids in their program. My kids come out smiling and tired, rather than crying or mad as was often the case at our previous studio. I just can't say enough good things about not only Victor and Nicole, and even about their younger coaches that my kids rave about like Malena and Cat!!

It is known for Yin Yoga, the type where you use breathing and hold the poses for 3-5 minutes. Please see my yin yoga photo poses. The majority of studios offer vinyasa or hatha or ashtanga which are faster flows. Here you can find power yoga and hatha as well. I'm big fan of heated Hatha...as it flows, but not too fast or demanding. The heat is like in low 90 degree F. I love all the teachers here. Also note that many of the yin classes run for 1 hr 45 min. There are not as many classes offered as a corporate studio, but I'm so happy this is here. Wondering the cost? It's reasonable. There is a free week for new people. There are many options: Single class $23, 5 classes in 1 month $200 $20 each), 10 class bundle (punch card) $170-$200 ($17 each), monthly $150-$170. The lower of the range is for auto-renew. So when you come to the 10th class on a punch card, your credit card will auto-renew. Pretty convenient. I am on the 10 class bundle cuz I have a pretty busy schedule. Sound baths are offered every 1st and 3rd Fridays at 7:30p, check website for $20-$25.

The setup and decor were beautiful, and everything was ready to go when we arrived, which made a big difference when hosting a group of excited kids! The space itself is amazing, with so many engaging, hands-on activities for a wide range of ages (definitely up to around 10). The kids were entertained the entire time. Even better, so many of the parents were raving about the experience and how much their kids loved it, which says a lot. Highly recommend hosting a party here if you're looking for something fun, interactive, and well-organized. We had the best time!
