I have ordered the oxtails from here and also the jerk chicken. The staff is pretty fast with the orders. I'd recommend call in your order 15 minutes prior to picking up so it's ready when you get there. But if not you can wait in the car and you'll be out in 15. The oxtails were very good, nicely seasoned, sweet and spicy. The portion was pretty big. Can be good for two sittings depending on your appetite. I really like this establishment. I was craving for some jerk chicken one night when I was studying and decided to give this place a try--and thank god, I did! The chicken was so juicy and flavorful and the rice definitely complimented that. The portion is really generous so I was able to save some food for later. I will be coming her again soon. I just visited the area again and had been informed this business had been sold however, I'm very disappointed with the product I received. I ordered a lunch special and I'll just put the picture to suffice how I felt as well. I paid $8 for a lunch platter which would be a small else where and an appropriate size (Not a 6inch hoagie container). Two giant scoops of rice and just "dollops" of "sides" to accompany the "dollop" of curried goat. Oh, and also one plantain on top. Maybe for garnish :/ The yellow rice was dry but good flavor, the other white/pink one just dry and no flavor to it at all, the cabbage undercooked and the curried goat (which was the main dish) was great. I've ordered to go three times.., the first time I had oxtail and rice and peas... even though the oxtail was flavorful, I could tell I was eating the pot scraping (bottom of the pot), and that is was reheated meat. The second order was curry goat and rice and peas... the goat was yummy but God bless the rice and peas.. I think I counted 6 peas if so many. My third order today was curry goat and rice and peas and brown stew chicken with white rice. The curry goat and rice and pea was exceptional. It was not accompanied with any cabbage or plantain though. The brown stew chicken was also good but how could you in good conscience serve that awfully stale and tough and hard to chew white rice. I had to discard of the rice and use my own. That should be acceptable!!! Overall, the food is good but you have to take more pride in your business and try to be more consistent. I want to support so please make a conscious effort. Tip: stop cooking more food than you need... work on your forecasting and be practical. Also your pick up time is atrocious. If I put 15 minutes and 45 minutes it's not ready like today that's a problem. On my second visit I waited thirty minutes (15 minutes after the pick up time). Decided to give this place a try after passing by it a few times. We ordered the stew chicken with cabbage, rice & peas and whiting with cabbage, rice & pea's along with plantains. The food was ok. A little dry and saltier then I would have liked but edible with a nice flavor. We like a little gravy for over the rice and there was none. The plantains however were cooked perfectly and believe it or not that's usually not the case with a lot of places so it was a plus. They also carry Veggie Tarry drinks which was great. Absolutely 100% disappointed!!! I made an order of $18 escovitch fish for delivery. I opened the tray and the fish was so hard and dried up that I couldn't even get the fish off the bones. I tried to chew a piece and it was like gum. Flavor was excellent just wish I could have eaten it. It was not freshly cooked for my order. This is my 1st and last time trying this place. I'm trying out lots of new places nearby while I'm recovering from surgery and unable to cook for myself. Last night, it was Caribbean food! And Trappixx didn't disappoint! I ordered the oxtail stew for myself and Caribbean stir fry for my dining companion. It was really quite delicious if a bit too salty for my palate. The portions are massive and I ended up making beef broth with the stew bones which was like a bonus meal! The coconut mango cheesecake for dessert was a nice treat at the end of a very pleasing meal. First time I made an order, I ordered $50+ worth of food for my cousin, her kids and I. They called and said they only had 2 items available out of the 4 or 5 items I placed. I Googled and found this spot was near me. I'm so glad that I did, because the food was really good. I saw the menu posted online, but didn't see oxtails on it, which I was disappointed by, but I figured to go give it a try anyway...however, they do have them, so I ordered the oxtail w/ beans and rice and the side of cabbage entree for $20 with a mild jamaican beef patty and the total was a little over $25 ( I got a soda too). I've never had cabbage with peas and corn, but the flavor was so fresh and light that it was very easy to like. The spices were right and not overwhelming at all. The meal portions were more than enough for 2 days and I'll definitely say that the oxtails were just as tasty the 2nd day. I will definitely be going there again, for the price, and for the portions, and let me not forget to mention the friendly people that work there. If you're in the Cherry Hill area and you want a tasty meal, you should try this island gem. read more

Today I orrded 57 dollars worth of food. My oxtail alone was 17.00 dollars and was only served one piece of plaintain. Follow 0428pm: called to complain about my order. The meats were absolutely delicious- flavoring was on point. They just melted off the bones and in to your mouth . The vegetables could have used a little bit more flavoring. A few weeks ago I experienced a power outage so my bf and I decided to give this place a try. I ordered a whiting platter, my bf ordered jerk salmon and we both got Jamaican beef patties (mild). Not sure how you can take 20 minutes to make a meal and the fish still not taste fresh, but that's exactly what happened. I am not a fan of super spicy food, however, when you order Jamaican you expect certain things will be. I order accordingly. The fish was spicy and overly salted did I mention it also wasn't fresh.
