Saor ran us through the options and we ended up ordering the following: Green beans with almond, grilled fennel with walnuts, lentils and stuffed mushrooms. You really cannot go wrong with any of these as how they were severed though my personal favorite were the lentils and the fennel. Absolutely recommend the place and their hosts and as well the ambiance that you get in a subtle kind of quite part of the town. Just do it!!

Apple Pay sent me an alert saying I spent $52 and change yes in USD. Only then I realized I was scammed. Just so you know, it's illegal to charge USD in Italy. You could only charge customers in euro. So basically I paid the fees for converting euro to USD. That Chinese man scammed. I will make the effort to report this to the Italian authorities and also try my best to fight the additional charge with my credit card company. Shame on you petty thief merchant! Otherwise, Venice is a beautiful city. I was so pissed that I paid a visit to the local police station. They knew exactly what happened and thanked me for reporting this restaurant. We opted for inside seating versus the patio because of the awkwardness of us leaving the restaurant right next door and the mosquitos that seem to be dominant in Venice in the late evening.
