I had the chicken cordon bleu crepe, my husband had the veal, and we shared a Caesar salad that we're still talking about. That dressing was phenomenal. But it is very much an institution in Orangeville having been going since 1989 and still going very strong. To illustrate, the fairly large dinning room was practically full for lunch service on a regular Tuesday. I sat at the bar (which is in a separate room) and looked at the various options from the lunch menu. There's quite an extensive drink menu, and it was cool to see that the 4 draught beers were all local. I went with the Caledon Hills lager which was fantastic. The chicken wrap was a safe choice, but based on the description it seemed to hit the spot for the somewhat lighter lunch I was looking for: grilled chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato and herbed cream cheese. It was all as described. Nothing to blow me away, but hit the spot and the ingredients were great and I enjoyed the cream cheese which seemed to be made in house (the blend at least). Again, this place is somewhat high end however, with it being about the cheapest item on the lunch menu ($17) and it didn't come with a side. Service was great. It seems to be a running theme through the reviews, so looks like you should expect the same. It's definitely enough to warrant another visit and try dinner sometime.
