I brought my flight ticket myself 4 months ago but I TOTALLY FORGOT that I have to request Visa in order to visit Vietnam. I was so stressful at that night but luckily I found Travel Rose through a Vietnamese community group on social media. I rushed to her place, got quoted and gave her my passport, done in less than 10 minutes. My visa will arrive in like a week later because it's might happen in Lunar New Year, it's usually done in about 2-3 days. For $60 per person I think it's a prettt cheap price nowadays. Called in to buy tickets to VN. The lady was so rude. OMG!! I don't know what they're thinking when doing that to people, especially their customers (feel so funny!!). To the lady who I talked to, if you don't feel happy when working, then just stay at home rather pour your tantrum to your customers. To the owner, there are lots of travel agencies out there and also self buying online tickets, please care about your business by training and supervising your staff when they are talking to customers. (If you're the owner who is rude to customers, then good luck to your business). read more

Customer service here is awesome! Vietnam trip was amazing. Everything went smooth. Been going to this place since I was a baby. It took only five minute to book my flights and a week to process a normal visa. I can call them anytime and they answers all of my questions. Wowzer. I just called to see what the ticket prices were to Puerto Vallarta. Firstly, she answered the phone, "Hello?" That was the first sign that this wasn't a reputable business. I told her what I needed, and she asked for the dates. She then asked for the spelling of the airport. I told her that I didn't know the name of the airport, just the city. She said that she couldn't help me unless I knew the name of the airport. What kind of travel agent wouldn't be able to figure that out? Super sketchy. read more

Great service here by Thanh. She was helpful and have knowledge about my trip and saved me lots of money to Taipei, Vietnam and Bangkok. At first, I really wanted to go to a bunch of different countries in Asia but she told me that flying around will cost a lot of money if it's not with the same company and/or route that they run. At first I wanted to go to Siem Reap, VN, HK, Thailand, and a few other countries in Asia but it was a lot because of all the stops so she advise me not to do it. I notice that since my flight from SF to VN stop in Taipei, why not take a chance to explore Taiwan. The added cost wasn't much, like $30 so it was well worth it. Spent 5 nights in Taipei and it was amazing. I just came back from my trip last month and I can't wait to go back so a few days after I got back, I went back to her to plan my next trip to Asia. Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Hong Kong/Japan/Korea. Since I heard the missile and stuff going on in N.Korea, Korea is now out of the picture lol Still planning my trip but since I've been doing a lot of research, I know which countries to visit to save cost because I'm going twice a year so I don't have to hit every place at once. Thanks to her, I know how to research and how to plan my trip and save money on flights. I will come back to her with my plans so she won't have to do so much work on finding the best literary to all the countries I wanna visit. Trust me, it's hard when you want to visit so many countries on one visit but you gotta know which route to take and which countries you can visit for less and which countries to visit on the next trip. If you want to plan a multiple destination to different countries, go with a good Travel Agent like Thanh and they will look out for your best interests. It's a lot less work for you and they will plan a trip to places you want to go without breaking the bank. Like me, I wanted to go to all of these countries without realizing that it's going to be expensive so why not break it up and go with these few countries first and then do those other countries later. read more

Needed a last minute visa for Vietnam. Called around for prices and travel rose won overall with their knowledge + rate and how they could help me out with my special situation. Called on a Monday. Came in on a Tuesday. Got my visa on a Wednesday. So because I lost my driver's license and had to leave back to LA Friday and catch a flight Tuesday leaving my passport there for 1 week was going to be an issue. We went back and forth on all the possibilities and which option would be the best for my situation. Overnight was best. And she did it! Great place! I would highly recommend for all your travel needs. Thanks to Yelp & my friend Amy (& Travel Rose) my passport/visa and everything is ready to go!!! I'm really happy & that wasn't stressful at all. Both the owner and her assistant (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) are so nice and helpful! We don't usually get these kind of treatment from a Vietnamese place, but they are really the best! Although it costs a lot for 3 visas, but what need to be done is done! China visa for non-Chinese is $200 Viet visa for U.S citizen is $80 (+$10 for 5 years) Viet visa for non-Viet is $120. We will pick it up this Saturday, so the waiting length is 1 week! Call them! read more

Came here to grab a visa for China. Hong helped me and is overly sweet. If you need to speak to someone who speaks fluent English, she is your girl! Dropped my passport off on a Weds after lunch, paid 200 for visa + 50 for rush. Was told that it should be here on Friday as the consulate does same day service for rush. But I didn't get it until Tuesday. I deducted one star because the other lady who doesn't speak English fluently kept making me call back every "15 mins" ALL DAY. When it was near 5:45pm(6pm closing time) she didn't answer. I was frustrated on what was going on but finally got a hold of Hong and was able to pick it up. I would suggest a full week service as it doesn't matter if you pay for rushed service because the consulate doesn't even help everyone who's been waiting in line so they must try back the next day! Too bad I'm not going to China anymore lol but 4 stars for Hong. She still got it back to me within a week. Thanks Hong! read more

Very bad customer service. I bought tickets from Thanh and called her the next day to ask how can I check my reservation on the airline's website. She said she sent me the itinerary from Travelport and doesn't understand what I'm talking about. I said I didn't get her email and asked what did she write in there. She didn't understand my question either. I also already sent her the screen captured from the airline website stating that the website asked for the name and email when bought the ticket. She still insisted that she didn't know what I'm talking about the website and made me feel dumb. Then I said I need to check online because I want to change my seat, but if she can help me change my seat then it'd be great. Then she said "I don't even know how so how can you know how, just call the airline" then hung up. One other review said she just pick up phone and said hello, very unproffesional. This is still true. One good thing about this place is that she will do your visa but if you don't want a bad customer service when things happen then just stay away from this place! Finally I called the airline and got things figured out in 5 minutes. read more

Nice lady help desk. don't trust other agent with your passport. Come to travel rose. I paid $90 for 5 years. I had two done here at same time. other place want to charge me $110 for one. that's rip off considering embassy only charge $65 dollars to process paperwork, i don't have time to drive up sf and do it myself and wait 3 days come back pick up. I don't mind pay additional $25 for agent to drive up there and do it for me. They do make good money off this, considering they summit at lease 20 passport at one time. You do the math. The first time I called they said they were very busy they could not talk to me and asked me call back next day every time from 9-6.
