The Kuga campervan was our home for couple nights and was a great experience! We enjoyed our roadtrip and we're def considering them for our future adventures. It has enough room for two ppl and the price was fair for what they delivered. Also, the service during pick up was great, we received good advice from the staff. Thank you!

This was a beautiful camp site in Oregon called the last resort next to the forest.

We had a good time with the van. The only problem we had was a leak on the roof when we were in Oregon and Seattle.

Really enjoyed my trip! I know this is a cheesy thing to say but Travellers Autobarn really exceeded my expectations. Based on how much cheaper they are than every other van/RV rental (I compared prices and TA was significantly cheaper than every other option I could find) I was a little bit worried and I didn't expect much. This is the first time I've rented a camper van, so I have nothing to compare to but I had a great experience. I saw the negative reviews about vans in poor condition and also a nightmare when checking out the van, but I experienced none of those problems. Keep in mind, this is a budget rental place so I don't expect the van to be in pristine condition or have luxury trimmings. With that said, besides a few minor issues the van was in good working condition. We drove from LA to Sedona and parked on public land. The drivability of the van was great (steering, braking, etc.) and it was actually really fun to drive. Zero mechanical problems with the van and the engine had plenty of power when accelerating onto the highway or driving up hills. Also, I went on a trip one time in an RV rental and it was REALLY difficult driving without being able to look out the rear window. I know truckers do it, but I'm really glad I rented this van instead of an RV that does not have a rear window so you have to use your mirrors only. We were debating between a van or RV and this was one consideration. Especially when backing out of spots in parking lots, having a rear window is so important. I would advise anyone reading this to consider this when they're deciding on what they want to rent for their road trip whether you go with TA or not. If you're mainly doing highway driving and parking at campgrounds it's less critical, but if you plan on pulling into parking lots the rear window makes a huge difference. I'm sure a lot of RVs now have rear view cameras, but driving on the highway and changing lanes is harder than you would think when you can't look out a rear window. The layout of the van is also really well done, it was perfect for 2 people. 3 people might be a little bit cramped but I think it's definitely doable. With 2 people it was nice having the upper loft area to store our luggage. Since no one was sleeping up there we could leave it up there and keep the ground of the van clear. Check in was also a breeze. I received a text in the morning that my van was ready and when I arrived the van was already parked right in front of the office and ready to go. I filled out most of my paperwork online so when I arrived I only had a few documents to check off on. I was given a thorough tour of the van and instructions, and was able to ask all of the questions I had. After that I was on my way. It was quick and easy. Part of that may have been lucky since no one was checking in at the time I was there, but it was a weekend so I expected to wait and there was no wait.

Rented a van for two whole weeks.  I waited over an hour to get the van and planned this trip half a year in advance.  There was no turning back regardless of issues after getting the van.  I did not want to waste any time with repairs as I'm paying for a rental and had good faith in the rental company initially The van I received had -  hair and did not seem to be cleaned out properly or inspected - dents everywhere - expired tags - a dented passenger side that also effected the siding door - Front and back bumper dents -  Crack in the windshield - No rear view mirror - Non working radio transmitter - Peeled moulding on table - No cruise control - Manual windows - Tpms sensor issues - Dining table mount loose, threaded and unusable  - Missing carbon monoxide/smoke detector - Weatherstripping throughout vehicle was coming off -  sinking driver seat -  cracked vent fan that did not work -  non working fan cover that kept popping open while driving This is not a full list of issues experienced with this van but it should give you a picture of the condition. Mechanically the van drove well.   I called the customer service line during the trip and let the LA branch know of the issues.  I was told they would call me this week about this situation but have yet to get any correspondence. I cannot recommend this company.  I understand that they are marketing as the low price leader but the issues I experienced are unacceptable.  This is an inferior product and service.  Hopefully they're better alternative or they address these quality control issues. On the bright side the gentleman that works on Saturdays is friendly and highly knowledgeable. They also are not open on Sunday.

We had a great experience renting from TA in LA. Unfortunately I can't remember the man's name who we picked up from (& also dropped off to), but he had great customer service skills. He wanted to make sure everything was very clear and that we were well-taken care of. The van had no problems and was very clean. Any little dings on the van before we took it were well-documented. It's lovely having unlimited miles! And we didn't have any problems with the van or the service. Great job! Disclosure: I collaborated with TA to create social media and photography content for them in exchange for our van rental. My opinion was not influenced by them and it it my own.

Shoutout to Russell for making my first trip to California a great one! We rented out a campervan for 9 days and drove to several great locations and national park campgrounds across California. From picking up the van to returning it, we received great service and the van came with everything we needed for our trip and it looked just as it did in pictures. Their rental prices are great compared to other rental services and we would definitely rent from them again for our next road trip!

I came across Travellers Autobarn on Instagram a while back and saved it away for future reference. Sadly, we had to use their services because of a very unfortunate event that required my wife and son and I to drive 24 hours to see family. However, even though the circumstances were less than desired, our experience with Travellers Autobarn was nothing less than superb! I honestly have nothing to complain about. In fact, I have been raving about them to all of my friends. We only worked with Ryan, and he definitely hooked us up and was incredible. In the front, there are three good-sized seats. In the back there is a little kitchenette with a small refrigerator (fully powered by the solar panel), a microwave (must be plugged into power to use), a gas two-burner stove (2.5 gallon tank outside), a sink (16 gallon water tank), and ample storage for food. Then there are two bench seats that straddle a table that can be converted into a particularly large bed. I'm 6' and I had to sleep a little diagonally, but it wasn't too bad! And above the table/bed area, there is a second bed that can be pulled out and extended nearly the entire length of the back of the van. It's a little close to the ceiling, but it didn't bother our son. In the end, I could not have asked for a better experience. I will definitely rent from them again!

The best thing about traveling in a campervan is the ease, flexibility, and ability to make detours if needed. We picked up our Kuga Campervan in Las Vegas. The Travelers Autobarn office is just west of the the main strip and easy to find. We arrived early in the day to begin the registration process and campervan orientation. The process was quick and easy. The Kuga Campervan is a hightop van conversion with couches, a table, two beds, propane stove, sink, water, kitchen, interior lights, fan, window shades and solar power. We also had the free living package which included kitchen pots, pans, utensils, cups and accessories. It also included sleeping bags, sheets, pillows and towels. The package pretty much made it super easy to get in the van and go. The Travelers Autobarn staff member was super friendly and provided an orientation of the basic operation of the campervan. The campervan drives like a normal van, but learning about the camper functions was helpful. We had charted a route around Utah and Arizona visiting a number of towns, parks, roadside attractions and hot springs. The day that we started a weather system passed through which made the temperatures drop in the northern part of our route. We simply flipped our route to avoid the cold weather and traveled the southern route first. By the time that we circled north the weather had warmed up and it was perfect weather for exploring. Traveling in a campervan made it super easy to be flexible with our route and schedule. On our seven day trip we visited Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Horseshoe Bend National Monument. Monument Valley National Park, Arches National Park, Mystic Hotsprings, Zion National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Meadow Hotsprings, Valley of Fire State Park and Fremont Indian State Park. If we were not traveling in a campervan it is unlikely that we would have had the flexibility to camp anytime and anywhere. We would have never found and stayed at Fremont Indian State Park. It ended up being a gem of a park and a great overall experience. This campervan camping adventure opened up my mind to new opportunities and travels. So much fun! Great camper vans and price! I would recommend them to anyone wishing to do a camper van trip anywhere. The vans are in great condition and function well all around. The only problem I found is the AC outlets only work when the van is connected to power at camping sites. If no external power is applied, they will not work. There are plenty of USB charging options on the van though, but if you absolutely had to charge something with regular AC connectors, you either have to plug in to RV/camping electrical outlets or buy a DC to AC converter and plug it in to your DC cigarette connection like we did. Gas mpg isn't the greatest either if you are used to driving cross over SUVs or smaller vehicles, but definitely beats RVs or Class C RVs. Their check-in/check-out process is fast and effective with great customer service. We had great time riding in one for 12 days and would do it again for sure.

I will never use this service again and need to share this experience to prevent anyone else from using it as well. 1.) The Fees-- we had initially chosen to go with this company because of the low cost however, the additional mileage fees are outrageous. The listed price per day was about ~$33. After selecting a van, an additional fee of $30 is added to each day. The catch there is that that only includes 100 miles. On top of the $63 per day, you're being charged 30 cents per mile. You'd have to assume that anyone taking these vans is going long distance. That extra .30 cents adds up quickly. 2.) Rodents & Trash-- I was told that they deep clean these vans, however, in the front windshield there was a parking pass from the people who had used the van previously. On top of that, our van was infested with a mouse! We heard it in the middle of the night eating our food and crawling around. We stepped out and turned on the lights only to be face to face with a grey mouse staring back at us. I would believe that they do routine checks for these things, but considering that there was left over trash right there in the front windshield has me thinking they don't do a thorough job of cleaning. Unacceptable 3.) Misc. -- the heater wasn't even working in the rear side of the van. We hit low tire pressure just an hour into driving. The radio is extremely outdated, (make sure to bring your aux cord from 2016!) I would give 2 stars, however, we were having car troubles and were late to return the van, I'll throw on an extra star since that additional fee was waived. To close this, there's many other options out there with decent prices and FREE unlimited mileage-- don't let SEO and listed low prices get in your way when researching quality rentals for your next trip.

I did a lot of research on private rental companies vs. owner rentals. I really liked how luxurious the interiors were and how they offered delivery and pick up. It was more pricey but I wanted to be comfortable. I decided to give Road shark a try and it worked out beautifully. *One thing I did not know is how much additional rental insurance etc. you had to tack on with the rental. Besides that, the amenities were suitable for my family of four and my two fur boys. I checked in with Brett prior to delivery date to get some of my questions answered. He personally delivered the RV and gave us a run down of all the amenities and how to operate everything. I appreciated the accuracy of the yelp photos of the interiors. So many times you rent and find out when you arrive, the pictures were very outdated and what you get paid is not what you get. Not in this case. I paid for Wifi connection but they did not bring an ipad for connectivity. Brett apologized and said he would comp us for the Wifi charge. He told us we could just use our phone's hotspot and connect. It worked out nicely, and we had Wifi at the campgrounds. We were comped for it. Brett made sure we understood all instructions before he hailed an uber back to LA. Since it was out first time RV-ing, we went to KOA in San Diego to reduce anxiety. the drive was smooth up to 65 miles per hour. When we exceeded the recommended speed, things would start rattling and shaking. We quickly understood why we had to adhere to the speed recommended to drive. Other than that, my kids were very happy sitting in the back enjoying their onboard entertainment. When we arrived at the campgrounds, went pulled into our spot with full hookups. We took note the black water port did not have an adapter so we could not hook it up full time to empty. I texted Brett and he said we could either purchase a kit that would be reimburses or not empty it (and we would not get charged since no adapter). We later figured out a way how to manually empty as needed. Everything else worked well. I was extremely surprised at how well the convection oven/microwave worked for the kids chicken nuggets and corn dogs. Even though all the kitchenware was included in the RV, we still brought our own pans and disposable dishware. The beds were clean, freshly laundered sheets smelled great but did not fit the beds well (probably a common issue). It only comes with 3 sets of sheets and towels. Only two pillows which I also asked Brett about. He said we could purchase some and they will comp us for the cost. We survived without it. We took a shower the first night on the RV but then decided to transition to the showers in the building due to space. The onboard water temp and pressure was great. I did not have to worry about running out of hot water. The toilet flush pressure was also ideal to combat my husbands bathroom trips. No issues with the kitchen sink or any other appliances. The fridge was a perfect size for all our meats and frozen desserts. The car shades in front and the shades for the interior created a perfect environment for sleep. We really enjoy the outside LED light awnings. We utilized the camp ground picnic table and internet to eat dinners and watch movies around the campfire. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Brett had great communication throughout the trip and the last day as we came home. I let him know we were heading back and he let us know when he would be coming over to provide pick up. We got home, he came to pick up the RV, and he was on his way back to LA. About a week later I received the email about the $1,500 deposit scheduled for refund on our account, and he swapped the pick up delivery/fee with the Wifi charge. I highly recommend renting with RoadShark RV. We had a great newbie glamping experience. The price of a comfortable and newer interior rental made all the difference for me and my family. Thank you again, Brett for the awesome customer service!

The space was great, onboard restroom and storage and cooking was a huge help. Can't wait for our next trip! The diesel engine got great mileage and once I got the hang of driving the oversized vehicle it was a very steady and easy trip. We banked 1200 miles in 6 days. Couldn't have managed it without this Sprinter van from RV Spinter easy pick up and drop off. Easy to text or call. Truly happy with the experience!

This is the spot to rent a Camper Van. Superior service in every way. Easy, simple, kind, friendly,…read morehelpful, awesome. My wife and I love this business so let me elaborate: Rental: I was just inquiring about renting a Camper Van from Todd and he explained everything about everything. I took up his time like crazy asking all kinds of questions day after day and no matter how much I called at inopportune times he would always answer with a positive attitude and give me the low down on any questions and concerns. He even called me to say that he had put the van aside for me and that people were interested and wanted to offer the van to me first. I couldn't miss out so I finally booked. What a guy. Picking up the Van was great and easy. I showed up and Todd wasn't there but Tom is there working hard to make everything work and polish all the details on the cleaning. He takes the time for the tour, gives tips, friendly and helpful in every way even under the immense heat and more obnoxious loads of questions. On the road: I never had an issue but if i had some concerns or forgot how to work something, Todd would always answer or call back shortly after. I felt safe knowing that the Van is very well maintained and that I had someone REALLY there if I needed it. The Pleasure Way Vans that are available are top of the line comfort for these camper vans, and it was really enjoyable to travel in it. We did 3500 miles and did amazing things and stayed at amazing places. All this trip wouldn't of been as special without our home on wheels. Its fun and very convenient to always have everything with you. I could talk forever about how special this company made our trip and if you are still reading and not calling to reserve then let me cut it here so you don't waist anymore time.
