We stopped in Lewiston and the car started making a squealing noise which kept getting louder. We stopped at VIP and when they opened the hood the bolt holding the alternator was unscrewed. We waited 2 hours for them to fit the car in. When they examined it more closely it was clear that the threads on the alternator were stripped when they installed the alternator. Autoworks would have known this when they let us drive off in the car. The alternator was ruined and we had to wait another 3 hours and pay another $500 to get a new alternator. Autoworks failed to answer my text asking for a refund so I have paid for the alternator twice. Do NOT do business with this company. What they did was not only negligent but dangerous.
