Can we all please have a moment for this glorious pretzel? As you can see from the attached image, this beauty is almost as wide as the bench table. When it arrived, my eyes nearly popped out, as I didn't expect it to be wider than my head. Size aside, the pretzel was delicious. The interior was so warm and soft. The exterior crisp and salty. Although it did come with various sauces, including a cheese and mustard dip, the bread alone carried so much flavor it could be enjoyed without any dressing. Truth be told, I wasn't a fan of the sauces--they were very salty. On top of an already savory dish, it ended up being a little too much and left me parched. What it could benefit, though, is a side of apple sauce for a perfect balance of salty and sweet! My only critique isn't directed at the food itself, but at the flagrant up-charging from the staff. Our server kept recommending the most expensive liquor for our drinks, while the bartender didn't even bother to ask - he was about to pour the most expensive shot when my friend (a former bartender), quickly stopped him. I've been to this Treadwell Park location many times across the years. It's great for having larger parties because of their large tables. They also have a nice selection of beer. I finally got to check out this place over the weekend. First off the atmosphere is so festive for Oktoberfest. This place has picnic table style seating which is cool. there are many tvs so its a great place to watch sports. They have many picnic tables outdoors too. And they have a little section with a dog water bowl near the entranceway. I went with two friends. We shared the pretzel, that was super big and came with three dipping sauces. Mustard, some sort of cheese and Nutella. I had a flight of their special Oktoberfest beer since I could not decide what beer to get. My friends had a cider and a bloody mary and than she got a flight for her second drink. I wish they told us which beer was which or wrote it down somewhere. Or tell us that it goes in order from the menu. I got the avocado toast with eggs. The eggs for some reason did not come on the actual avocado toast. But it was tasty. My friend had the eggs Benedict with lox and other friend had a burger. We all enjoyed what we got but were all full from sharing the pretzel. Our waiter was nice. though I feel like we had three different ones and a waitress. All were nice and took my food allergies seriously. In the back they have some pinball machines, large version of Jenga game and Pingpong table. They also have a fireplace. I would highly recommend coming here if you are with a big group or small. Came here for a casual meal, and it worked out well because people could come and go as their schedules permitted as there is no formal seating - it's communal long tables. Food was fine. Nothing exceptional but a decent meal. Loud volume, so don't go here to have much of conversation. Reservations are unnecessary, not sure why they even accept them on OpenTable but don't bother - I was updating mine as guests were added in the days leading up to our dinner, but on arrival realized it's "seat yourself" and nobody cared. read more

Came here for happy hour with coworkers and had a pretty good time! Treadwell Park was similar to other beer haul/beer gardens I've been too but I think they have more board games and other activities. They have a wide variety of beers, cocktails, and wines. The shacksbury arlo was on the drier side but did have nice fruity flavors. My friend's blueberry cider was very tasty and not too sweet. Happy hour menu was very solid - about $6 for a drink. For snacks wise, their truffle fries were alright, frozen fries that were reheated but did have a decent truffle flavor with some parmesan cheese. I'm not a huge fan of the long tables cause it makes it hard to talk to everyone but this place is definitely good for bigger groups. I liked the gaming stations at the back and this photo booth on the first floor. Staff were also very nice and attentive but it was a little confusing in the beginning when one said they could do individual tabs, another said to order at the bar, and a third said no to both. Treadwell park is a really cool bar on the upper east side. We loved the picnic table seating, great for small and large groups alike. We ordered a Caesar salad and their famous large pretzel with everything seasoning. It came with mustard, creamy cheese, and whipped cheese. Both dishes were delicious and very filling - we even took some of the pretzel home! The margarita was strong and the beer flight came with four very good beers. The service was pretty quick except there was only 1 waiter for the whole place. Maybe due to the time we went, about 6pm but he did a good job. read more

I've worked in hospitality for nearly a decade, and this was the worst customer service experience l've ever had. A server spilled an entire tray of drinks on my friend and me-our clothes, shoes, purses, and phones were completely drenched. Accidents happen, but the way it was handled was unacceptable. When we spoke to the manager Kate, she showed zero concern and immediately said, "We can't pay for your dry cleaning." No apology, no real effort to make it right-just a dismissive attitude and a sarcastic offer for another round of drinks, as if we'd want to stay there soaking wet. The lack of professionalism and basic hospitality was shocking. The manager made it clear that customer satisfaction isn't a priority here. I'll be telling everyone I know to avoid this place. read more

Treadwell park is a great spot for a work outing. It has games, picnic style tables and reasonable prices. There were quite a few work happy hours when we visited on a Tuesday evening. The servers were attentive and the food came out quickly. PSA the nachos were individual bite size nachos, as in each bit was pre prepared so it's not as hearty as you'd think. Also note the downtown location has a lot more beer options! I found myself trying to order from the downtown menu and the server informed me they had a much smaller number of beers available. And the fries are absolutely delicious. I'm not sure what I was dipping them in but it was heaven. I pretty much made a meal out of the fries!
