    Cotton candy
    Luiza A.

Came here on a Wednesday night for drinks with friends and had a lovely time! The inside is dimly lit with a few tables along the side and is a perfect place to catch up with someone or for a date night. All the drinks were creatively served and not too sweet. I tried the SnS Pornstar which came with sprinkles on top and was my favorite drink of the night. It was super refreshing and light. I also tried the cotton candy which comes with actual candy and the drink was also refreshing and surprisingly not too sweet. Service was great and would come back here to try other drinks!

10/10 across the board -- ambience, service, drinks, and FOOD They are serving perfectly crafted cocktails as expected at a cocktail bar of this standard but the food blew me away!! The service was great, very attentive. Cocktails were amazing, very well crafted. The food was DELICIOUS! The kimchi cheese fries, gochujang wings, and fettuccini pasta are all must orders!! Can't wait to go back and try other dishes.

Friends and I walked in lucky to get a seat at the bar bc reservations are encouraged. It's tight so u can't just order a drink and stand. I enjoyed the charcuterie board, sticky rice w tuna, and drinks. I enjoyed watching bartenders make all of the other drinks also.

Came in with a group of coworkers on a weekday evening. The venue is small but felt homey. We had a reservation and had no issues being seated right away. We ordered a couple cocktails and I ordered a non-alcoholic Aperol Spritz. It still tasted great even without the alcohol. We decided to share a bunch of small plates - Gyoza, French Fries, Spicy Popcorn Shrimp, Salmon Avocado Roll, and Crispy Rice. Out of everything we ordered, my favorite was the Crispy Rice. It's made with tuna, jalapeño, and eel sauce and the crunch made it perfect. Great night with great people!

This newish hotspot for the area is deff a happening place. I had been meaning to come here for a while and finally did this past weekend. It is dimly lighted in this cocktail bar. Very nice bar area with some seats around it and alot of tables for a somewhat smallish place. I definitely suggest making reservations even if you are just going for drinks like we did. The drink menu is definitely on the interesting side. The menu is cool looking too. I had the SNS Pornstar Martini without the passion fruit in it though. It had eggwhite, vodka, raspberry and basil I think. It was topped off with cute and pretty rainbow sprinkles. My friend had the 007 Vesper Martini, which had Gin and Vodka in it mixed with some other things. He said it was very interesting and he enjoyed it more than he thought he would. He is not a big gin person. The staff here was nice but it does get pretty loud in here so for me it was tough to hear the waiters. Also, the tables are pretty close to each other in this bar. Unless you get the corner booth area which seems to be in its own little area. I would recommend stopping in if you are in the neighborhood.

don't try walking into this place without a reservation - won't happen. the drinks are very unique and pretty looking but don't taste all that great lol. but the crispy rice was lowkey amazing??? menu is kinda all over the place so i didn't expect the food to be great but it exceeded my expectations. inside ambiance was dimly lit and romantic. good date night spot

Popped in here for a cocktail 6 girlfriends. We all loved our drinks and the little snacks as well. The cheese board was a great shareable and the guac was super fresh. Staff was extremely fun and friendly and attentive.

3.5 real rating I have a dear friend who lives in the area so we figured that next time I visited we go have a drink. She made reservations for 4:30 pm on a Sunday. The place is on the smaller side. The inner decor takes it a step up from your regular pub/bar. The cute pics on the wall is a reminder you are on the UES and not any hole in the wall in the city. When we arrived we self seated so not sure what the reservations thing was all about. There was one gentleman working behind the bar and he was the same one to come over and take our order. He was very knowledgeable about the drinks and able to explain the ingredients/notes for the drinks we inquired about. I of course went with the SNS Pornstar, like with a name like that how could I not and the fact that it had sprinkles on top makes it that much better. The drink it self tasted like a natural flavored raspberry lemon drops. My friend opted for the Cotton Candy which came with a big glob of cotton candy for garnish. We only had one drink each. While they did have a full bar I personally feel that there specialty/curated drinks are a one and done. If I had stayed for more cocktails it would had simply been drinks from the bar. Would I go back...not sure. I would not say no...I would not go out of my way to go but if I am in the area...I would stop by.

    Geneva Sunset & Ginger Highball
    Kelsey S.

We walked in around 8p on a Saturday night and it was fairly empty to start. Must have set the trend though because suddenly it was packed about 15 minutes later. We ordered different mezcal drinks; the ginger highball & the Geneva sunset. We both got the highball for our second drink. Tasty drinks, friendly service. Enjoyed but not running back for more. The theme really only seems to apply to the menu & drinks. Decor could have had more James Bond to be on theme!

Another great spot for a date night or girls night. The cocktails are delicious and super fun. And we were happy with all the bites. Can't wait to come back.

Fantastic service, snacks, and drinks! We tried two of the signature cocktails, both of which were aesthetically pleasing and very delicious. The shrimp was also incredible, highly recommend. 12/10 spot!

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.
