Very nice ambience and outdoor seatings. There's a few tables outdoors and with a covering. Friendly staff. They have different events during the week, such as trivia night and karaoke night. Draft beers were under $10 regularly. Cocktails are about $12-15. I liked the Penicillin (scotch based). A bit small, but tasty. It wasn't that strong though. I had a beer after that.

Great spot on the UES! Great selection of beers and I enjoyed my Moscow mule. They have different nights of activities and my boyfriend and I were there on Thursday so it was karaoke night! Good vibes all around, and even though it was crowded inside and outside there was still good attentive service. Would return to this bar!

Stopped by the Hunterian for a few drinks after dinner. It happened to be Karaoke night which was fun. Drinks are reasonably priced and service was quick & friendly. I'd go back!

Looking for an Irish bar that's about being an Irish-style bar first and foremost? Maybe this tiny one with a common table would suit you too. We had been to visit new baby twins at a nearby hospital. To celebrate that joy (and take advantage of happy hour), we went here for a Bloody Mary and a Pilsner. The Pilsner being poured was exceptional. Bloody just ok but an ok price too. We just had a drink here. Place was crowded and a bit noisy. Suited us for a happy hour cheers to the twins! If you want spaciousness, this isn't your place. If you want positive vibe, maybe it is.

A very cute bar in the upper east side. Definitely on the small side but we were lucky that they were plenty of seats at the bar. The food menu is very very limited. The espresso martini was well. Made but in a very small coop glass. I asked for it not to be too sweet, but it was. The Pinot noir was good. Bartender is super friendly Irish guy. If I could, I would give it 3 1/2 stars just because the bartender was such a great guy.

Great cocktails and a really cute outdoor setup! Service is laidback and not overbearing. This is a great spot for chill drinks with friends or a casual date where you don't want anything too fussy but still want a good cocktail. Really like this spot!

Come for the delicious cocktails, stay for the atmosphere and people. If you're in the area, you need to visit this warm place. Say hi to Alan.

We went there on the first Saturday after indoor dining became allowed again, so we were happy to have a drink inside a bar after so many months! We felt quite safe as we walked in, it looks like they are following all the necessary measures and they make you fill out a form that I guess it is pretty standard now during Covid19 times. Even though the outdoor seating area was full, the inside was quite empty, which was great! The bar is cozy and well decorated, I love the fall touch that they gave to the place! Our bartender was super nice and attentive and the drinks were amazing! They really know what they are doing! We got to try a few drinks: their classic Old Fashioned, Moscow Mule, Manhattan, Bees Knees and Hot Spiked Apple Cider, everything was amazing! Their Hot Spiked Apple Cider is the perfect fall drink! I must also comment on their music playlist as it was great! I really enjoyed the 80s rock hits and some other great songs they were playing! I was very happy to find this whisky bar in the neighborhood and I will definitely come back!

My friends had the espresso martini which was tasty but a bit sweet for my taste. I had the beer and a shot, which, though the beer was a bit small, was a great beer for the deal. The vibes were lively, definitely where you go when you are trying to have a good time. It was a bit loud and probably night time is not a place you want to take a date, but more for friends and going out. Overall though, a great place and find and I would come again.

We got seated in the back by another bar area, which was nice because it ended up being a little quieter. The vibe here was cool, lots of brick and wood ceilings, felt sort of old-timey nautical. They had a happy hour going on, but it was limited to just a few cocktails. We didn't get a special menu for it, but heard the server talking about it with another table. I got a gin and tonic, which came with two flavor options, and my boyfriend got the Golden hour. We both liked our drinks and would've tried more if we didn't already have plans.

Happy Pride!! (They offer change for drag brunch TG)…read more I recently took my queer employee resource group to The Bar Room for drag brunch and it blew us away. Not only was the bartender, manager, and waitress so kind and patient, they made us giggle. We were taken to the second floor of the place and immediately greeted and welcomed. The environment is so cute with a vintage feel and it made me feel like home. The food has a special for drag brunch with a $75 pp so we did that, and it was an amazing deal, watch out for that espresso martini CARAFE. Once the queens (Britney Virazzano + Essense) came out there was no going back on the blast train. They were so funny individually and especially together, and treated us like family. The whole room felt connected, and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

From 3-6pm they offer $1.50 Virginia oysters, and they were super briny and incredibly fresh, which is an absolute steal. To go with that, we ordered $5 Yuenglings on tap. The food was outstanding across the board: * Pulled Pork Nachos with cheddar, pickled jalapeño, and lime crema ($14) -- loaded, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. * Bar Room Fries with parmesan, herbs, and white truffle oil ($10) -- crispy, aromatic, and dangerously addictive. * Deviled Eggs with dijon, kewpie mayo, and chives ($10) -- rich, creamy, and done just right. Every single item we ordered was a hit. On top of the great food and drinks, Kiera took exceptional care of us--friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better. Fantastic happy hour, delicious food, great service, and an ideal Midtown location. I'll absolutely be back next time I'm in the area.
