He was kind, honest, and attentive, offering thoughtful, genuine feedback about what looked best between the options I was considering. As I shared with him that I would be interpreting for a Deaf woman marrying a Nigerian man, he truly listened. He understood how important it was to find an outfit that was beautiful yet not visually distracting for the bride, and he guided me with care and intention. His compliments on the colors I chose gave me a confidence boost I didn't realize I needed during my grief journey. I ended up purchasing a stunning teal and gold outfit, and Sunny even helped me find jewelry to match. I came another time for some holiday shopping in the middle of a weekday, and had the luxurious opportunity to take my time and browse through everything. The store associates were so helpful and helped me talk through the pros / cons of a few items I was looking at. With their 25% sale, I was able to find 2 substantial-ish stocking stuffers for ~$15 which was great. Excited to treat myself to another trinket / item when I find myself here next.

Searched high and low, messaged and called alteration places, tailors, shops in Eastpoint Mall…read moretrying to find someone who could/would sew a patch onto my boyfriend's leather jacket (and possibly repair a ripped out pocket). Messaged Hide-A-Way Leather (located next to Squire's) and was absolutely thrilled when they returned my message within an hour, with a resounding YES, they could do both, and that Billy would be at the shop between 3-6pm. My boyfriend had a great time at the shop. Billy was able to accomplish both tasks in ten minutes, and only charged $10. Billy also kept my boyfriend entertained the entire time. Did you know that Patrick Swayze wore a Hide-A-Way shirt in Point Break? No? Check my pics! Cool right? Will definitely return when we need more patchwork done. And I think a shirt would be a fantastic Father's Day gift for my boyfriend's biker dad. Heck, I might need a shirt for myself, now that I think about it. They also offer a HUGE array of Funko figures, if those float your boat.
