We do not have one of these at home. This is way better than Amazon treasure hunt online. There's something fabulous about going through these bins of random products not knowing what you will find. The experience was super fun. The people who go there can be real a$$ holes so I do not think that's a reflection of the business, but just lousy people can be. You hear the big winners who win things like an iPad or a PlayStation or something but if you set your expectations to be reasonable for a $20-30 item that's $6-8 then I feel like I won ( over 50%off!) What did I get? Korak Legos ( over $20), a visual timer( over 50), and a picture box (about $30) for signs that change color which sadly did not have all the letters so will require a little extra work to print up new letters in Order to use the product Because today was eight dollar day, I went big and bought a mystery box. The unboxing was so much fun. Just the horror on my husband's face while I unpacked was worth every penny. But I did find some great deals like insect killer refill that works for the exact product, we have at home. We got swimsuits and 12 really nice iPhone cases that are exactly the same, hiking shoes that fit, my friend, dog food, snacks, Mom blankets. I think a total of three, and a Mom plaque that says I love you. I felt that the store loved me more than the love my family shows me because I've never had so many products in one place in my life. A really fun shopping experience for my bargain hunter friend visiting from out of town. The line at opening for was long but we got in pretty quickly. I would warn if you visit that you may get hit by shopping carts by distracted people. There is a rule that you can't open the boxes yourself, so grab your boxes quickly and then wait in the line for the opener. The owner was really nice, when we told him it was my husband's birthday he gave us a free $8 item. I got some great deals on some home organization pieces that would normally sell for $35. Establishment closes at 8pm, though workers will say you are not welcome to enter the store around 7:30pm. The message appears to be they want to go home early. Take away? Don't bother to go to this location after 7pm otherwise you risk wasting your gas to only be turned around on entry to the establishment. read more

Although I've never been to this place, my wife found a clamp-on LED lamp the other day that was in a bin. It was NOT in a box. Seems that every electrical outlet in the store has tape over over it. When my wife got up to the counter to pay a whopping $6.00 she asked if she could test it. "No test, no test". Even Goodwill allows you to plug something if to see if it works. Ok, so they allow returns as long as you have the receipt within 7 days for electrical items or appliances. Would YOU want to make the trip back if something didn't work????? OK, I could see LONG lines of customers trying to plug something in to see if it worked, but REALLY? You certainly might be able to find "great deals" there, but be prepared, especially if that great deal is something that needs to be plugged into a AC outlet, or be prepared to take a trip back. read more

Similar experience to Black Friday craziness! Treasure Hunt Deals opened up today and it is literally minutes from my house, so I thought I would check it out. Got there for opening, not anywhere near first in line, just showed up at 9am to see if I could find any tools or cool electronic gadgets by chance. Well, I drove in to a fully packed parking lot. Feel sorry for the people trying to go to the Planet Fitness next-door.... Once I walked in, I saw 100's if not over a 1,000 people in a free for-all! The layout is simple, several rows of tables with product just scattered over them. The noise of people picking up boxes and chucking them back was intensely loud. Most of the boxes appear to be pallet returned goods being resold and you could visually see what you would be buying. There were some mystery boxes that had shipping labels scratched off. The store has a tiered down pricing approach: Friday = $8 Saturday = $6 Sunday = $4 Monday = $3 Tuesday = $2 Wednesday = $1 Thursday = Closed for restocking I was not expecting to get a Nintendo Switch or other high end expensive electronics since I was not first in line. But showing up at open, I was hoping to see some things that interested me. Unfortunately, I did not see anything that warranted paying $8 for. There were lots of decorations, holiday items, storage bags, puzzles and basic board games. Personally, I would think you would have better luck just going to garage sales. But that is just my opinion. There were clearly tons of people there buying up things. Will probably try going again on a $1 day and trying my luck on unmarked boxes. Treasure Hunt Deals is a huge discount store with a different price on everything depending on the day of the week, some days it's $3 for anything some it's $6 for everything. You definitely have to dig through the bins full of a bunch of random returned items from Amazon that this business got a hold of - you can find some good stuff, and some junk but if you want the REALLY good stuff (possibility of laptops, gaming systems, etc.) you need to camp outside a few hours before opening, there's a bunch of people that do that early in the morning. It's worth a visit, and definitely wash your hands when you leave. read more

It's a free for all of grab chaos. Tables get rolled out to a waiting crowd and the good stuff advertised is sparsely hidden in the thirty tables. The grab is when the manager yells out directions. 'Hands Up' and the tarp cover is removed. Then everyone grabs throwing the non desirable stuff looking for the one or two nice items. Note. These are all Amazon returns. Everything from baby buggy parts to an accessory for a lawn chair. Really. It's that random. I went for the experience and to find Christmas gift for the families in need. So I did spend $150.00 But the checkout line took an hour. If you're looking for flea market buys and have A LOT of time go and enjoy the experience. read more

This place was great! There are a variety of random items that are Amazon returns. I bought several items that all sell on Amazon for at least $30-40 and several things were worth more than that. Many of the items were in open boxes, but everything I bought was in like new condition. I found a great heated blanket, a blood pressure monitor, a hair dryer, dog bed, smart watch, body pillow, table top fireplace - all for $8 each. You never know what great things you will find and they replace the stock weekly!! Everything is $8 on Friday and then goes down to $6 on Saturday and then $1 less every day until Wednesday, where everything left is $1. If you go on Friday, it is pretty busy and the line gets long, but I think it was worth it! All sales are final, but they will open a box for you if you want to see the product, just ask. Do not reccomend this place. And I saw very suspicious behavior. I will not claim anything but watch people come from the back to restock and notice management will point them to go to specific areas where someone was waiting already and somehow instantly knew what the expensive 100+ items were. Watched it multiple times. But of course this could all be massive coincidence that I caught multiple times. But yes. Just watch plain clothes management talk to the employees and where they direct them and notice how the same few people have the high ticket items. Trash-ure Hunt Deals. Very dirty place with a lot of junk. These are all amazon returns. Many are returned for good reason. A lot of broken items that you can't return to this store when defective. Everyone is touching everything. I feel dirty in here. Nothing is organized. Just dumped in big bins. You might find something while here? But never something you came looking for. Absolute dump. This is all returns from Amazon, thrown into huge bins. Including broken crap etc. All I saw was absolute junk. While I was there they brought out couple new bins and people lost their dignity and self-respect as they clamored for the junk. I bought a 25' flexzilla hose for $8 only to discover it was split in the middle and GARBAGE. I was unaware until I took it home and there are no returns. As others have said, this is a GREAT place to find random stuff for a song- just don't bet on finding anything specific. It's a random lot with everything ranging from home décor to audio books to auto parts, with different stuff every time. You'll find a wide assortment ranging from cheap garbage, to absolute steals, to the utterly bizarre (such as a dentists' fake teeth guide for comparing implant colors, or a book on Latin insults). I've gotten some amazing discounts on art supplies and clothing items, mostly on their $1 Wednesdays. The staff has always been really nice, and the store is clean considering the chaos/crowds involved. The only reason I'm not giving this place the full five stars is because I feel like they do have some minor safety issues- I understand that they can't police everything in their bins... but I've seen broken glass on multiple occasions, and medical syringe supplies (no clue if needles were present or not) on other times. It'd be nice not to have to wear gloves while hunting for treasures, but otherwise? This place is awesome! read more
