Some highlights were a large selection of women's jeans, and a decent collection of frames. The pricers do seem to have acknowledged that they should be selling the donated items at market value, so prices on certain things have gone up. But 'treasures' can still be found...but alas, not this time.

Overpriced. $75.00. $39.99, $49,99 for pictures, some of the clothes are 18.99. The highest I've…read moreseen was $500 for a statue that sit for nearly two months. Furthermore, stop marking the lamps at 29.99- 39,00 only for the employees to use their discounts and purchase the item for much less, then after talking about it on the floor. (I do have the rest of the clips, but here is a peep of the video). This is a management issue at this point. I don't want to hear there's something is wrong with their pricing scanner, unless Goodwill is hiring the visually impaired to mark items. You can fix up your store, make it organize, clean it and it still won't matter if your overly priced with used items, dealing with employee bad attitudes and entering a non-friendly store. you will not get a welcome at this store by the women. Donate to salvation Army. Their clothes are much cheaper, they still have %50 off day, (goodwill does not), reasonable priced, helpful friendly, and also will help you if you're in need of assistant (bills)

Got 3 pants, 2 yoga pants, and a zip up hoodie for $25. One of the pants was Zara! Make sure to bring a big bag with you. On Wednesdays, it's 20% off your purchase if you have a reusable bag. I like the brands that they carry. Just wish there were more blouses or work appropriate shirts. Not everyone can rock a crop top!

I recently brought a large batch of clothing to Plato's Closet Schaumburg for evaluation. Every…read moreitem was freshly washed, neatly folded, and presented in excellent condition. When my items were returned to me, they had been thrown back into my bag in a tangled pile, resulting in wrinkled clothing and unnecessary wear. The attached photo speaks for itself. What was even more disappointing was the response I received when I called to discuss the issue. Rather than acknowledging the concern or offering a sincere apology, the manager responded sarcastically by asking what I expected them to do differently in the future. For a business that relies entirely on customers bringing in quality inventory, this level of disrespect and lack of professionalism is astonishing. Preparing clothing for resale takes time, effort, and money. I spent my own resources washing, drying, folding, and transporting these items, only to have them returned in worse condition than when they arrived. Now I get to spend part of my day re-washing, re-drying, and re-folding everything because basic care and courtesy were apparently too much to ask. I understand that not every item will be purchased. That's not the issue. The issue is how customers' property is treated and how concerns are handled when they are raised. The condition in which my belongings were returned, combined with the dismissive attitude from management, has ensured that I will never return to this location. If customer service, respect for personal property, and professionalism matter to you, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
