When I picked him up, none of this was mentioned either. They sincerely lack transparency and it seems like they're trying to slip charges past you. Edit: finally after multiple calls was able to talk to the practice manager who was quite unhelpful and refused to take responsibility for the actions of their employees. DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC. THEY WILL UNNECESSARILY TREAT YOUR ANIMAL THEN CHARGE A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT.

So they charged us $300 to tell us it needs to be put down, but Dr left early during our appt, so we have to take it to a pet ER and pay an additional $700 to have it done. Honestly, if whatever Dr had going on was so important, they should waive their $300 for not being able to complete the appt. Also Charged for 2 shots I told them not to do.

That said, I had been so upset and in so much anxiety since her health appeared to be failing that I spent an entire day this week, driving around and viewing several veterinarian clinics in Boise. I had pretty much given up when I came upon Hometown Animal Clinic. I made an impromptu visit and was greeted kindly and with care by Sarah, who works at the front desk! She was considerate of my tears and quickly scheduled me for this today. The last two days I've been riddled with anxiety about how my 13-year-old girl would do during a vet visit, I must say, it went extraordinarily well. Of course, Sarah was there to greet me this morning. I left Akira in the car until Erin came to the back door to welcome us in. Again, I was very anxious, but Akira had no fear of the environment nor of Erin. Erin was very kind and thorough with her inquiries about the current situation, diet, past etc. Upon Erin beckoning Dr. Duncan, she arrived quietly and kindly. Dr. Duncan spent nearly an hour in the exam room with Akira and I and was very calm and gentle. She concurred and acknowledged my concerns and we moved forward with some necessary testing that was not intrusive. I left feeling the biggest sense of relief and gratitude! I would not hesitate to refer Hometown Animal Clinic and its staff in full! Tonight, I will probably sleep for the first time in a week

First we brought 8 year old Brandy here for a dental cleaning. They did a great job with no complications or concerns. We joined the $300/yr program that includes her dental cleaning, immunizations, office visits, and more! So we brought our 12 year old Martini in. Again excellent care. Dr Anderson discovered high liver enzymes and urinary crystals. He's now on a different diet and medication...recheck of his condition is in 2 weeks so we hope for good results. Now Holly our 15 yr old is drinking a lot of water and lost her appetite. We brought her in today and Dr Ormand gave her a physical check and ordered blood work. Because she's on the wellness plan, todays visit was completely covered. My dogs were previously with River City where they received great care and the vets are excellent...but their costs and up selling of extra services was excessive. I highly recommend Linder Pet

I took the second realistic option. I asked for the soonest n the earlier the better so they told me it be a week out n early morning. I get there n told they never had an appointment made for me. They wanted to reschedule me for a week out again. Im only giving 2 stars because the receptionist was calm and nice but ya if I schedule something in my field I keep that Appointment. Or figure out a way right away to help better then oh how to best inconvenience you or oh how bout a week out AGAIN!
