Stopped in at 6pm on a Thursday, place was empty but had around 3 people working at the time. The had a nice place for dining in, but I just ordered takeout. I got two steak tacos for $4 each which feels a little expensive, but the steak was super juicy in the tacos! Tacos were a good size, and came topped with onion and cilantro, with radish slices, two juicy lime quarters, and salsa verde on the side. Stopped in around lunchtime on a Monday, and it was empty. Was getting it to carry out and was waited on right away. I ordered 3 tacos. Check out the photo. It was very flavorful,the steak did have several very chewy/gristle pieces. I liked the touch with the cucumber and radish on the side, but the cucumber was a bit bitter. I ordered the side sauces, and this is where they shined. All three that I had were awesome. The one they said was hot ,I didn't find it very hot, but it had a lot of flavor .I will be going again . Total was $18 for a disgusting "Cuban Sandwich" and a bottle of soda. The sandwich was so nasty. I ended up throwing the whole thing out the window for the seagulls! It had eggs and lettuce and tomato and a hotdog on there. I've never had a Cuban sandwich with any of that stuff on there and it was absolutely gross! And I looked at my receipt and saw that they had charged me $1.80 for a surcharge which it was 10% of the total bill. They didn't notify me beforehand until I saw it on my receipt and called in and they told me that there is a sign on the front door. I don't know about you but when I'm going to order food, I don't read little sign on the front door and when I told guy that it was rude to not notify people about the fee prior to charging it, he hung up on me. I was going to BJ's Club, and I noticed a lot of people going into a new restaurant I had never seen before. The Trebol Taco Shop opened Monday its where Mio Padre Pizza used to be in the Peninsula shopping mall. I initially tried to order a chicken burrito, but they sold out of chicken. So, I wound up ordering 2 Asada Tacos and they rocked. Authentic, outstanding Mexican food. Prices are super cheap $2.50 each taco. My girlfriend and I get Mexican, ALOT. Stopped here in passing on a little road trip because it was time to fill up, and I have to admit it has easily trumped all of our favorite spots. Wow. Amazing. First of all. I have zero affiliation with this place. This place has it all. Everything is clean and freshly painted. Our family of 6 felt right at home. The service was above amazing. They make their tortillas fresh to order. The prices are just right. My $10 burrito was busting at the seams with fresh ingredients and flavorful tender steak. They even make their own hot sauces daily. At first I was afraid I would run up the bill with al a carte options but let me tell you I struggled to get through my burrito. The ingredients are so fresh it fills you up faster than you think. Even the French fries that came with the kids meals are worth raving about! Some of the best I've had in a while. Get in here and try this food. We hesitated once or twice before going because we were unsure what to expect. Throw all that aside and get in there. You won't be disappointed. My wife usually only eats flour tortillas because she says she doesn't like corn (I know) but she walked out raving about the corn tortillas from her taco. Overpriced, food was good. Service was mediocre. We both got sodas, asked for a glass of water, waitress brings me bottled water. I told her I asked for a glass, she said they weren't allowed to serve regular water. Tried to order a Torta which said any kind of meat. so I got the quesobirria "quesadilla". I'll start with a positive. flavor it was excellent. but it was no quesadilla. It was a single taco. granted it had a decent amount of meat in it. but come on split it in half and give me two so I don't feel like I'm getting taken advantage of spending $15 on a taco. and to top it off you charge me $3.50 extra for the consume? who needs 12 oz of consume for a 5 inch taco? flavor was great. Portion and price terrible. Im not a cheap person. And I don't normally write reviews either. But maybe you need to reconsider some things. OK, I got three tacos Carnitas, Pollo, Lengua, each one was pretty good my favorite was the Lengua, here are my disappointments, it took 15 minutes for three tacos to be made which is way too slow it was a to go order and I did walk in but the place was not crowded. My other disappointment toppings for my tacos came in a little Ziploc's instead of getting put on the taco severely disappointing cents I had to wait 15 minutes for the taco and then I had to build my own taco I will give A four for the taste of the food and a to for the other things I mention I understand they just open so maybe these things will change I'm hoping definitely call before if you want to go don't walk in I did learn a lesson there peace out read more

My girlfriend and I eat here way, too much. It's probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to and most definitely in the top three for sussex county. There's nothing on the menu that isn't spectacular. I've tried every burrito they offer an would recommend them all and their sauces are to die for.
