Service was great and very attentive! It is more of an authentic restaurant feel, not upscale, more of a local vibe. The food was very good and portions generous. Chicken Enchiladas were delicious and the salsa was so good! My daughter got the tacos and enjoyed them...she wasn't a fan of the olives though. . Menu didn't state that it came with olives so beware if you don't care for them.

Make you feel like family. Owners and staff can't do enough for you. Chill music on Friday evenings. Upscale Hispanic cuisine.

I ordered a matcha, and it came out looking grey instead of green. It tasted extremely watered down and nothing like a proper matcha. They didn't have strawberry, which was disappointing. My girlfriend ordered a coffee and she didn't enjoy hers either. The food was decent, but my pesto chicken sandwich was dry. What really ruined the experience, though, was the service. The first cashier we dealt with was rude, dismissive, and had a terrible attitude. The only positive interaction we had was with the person from the kitchen who brought out our food they were kind and professional. After I didn't like my drink, my girlfriend went to exchange it for a chai latte. While she was standing by the counter looking at the menu, the cashier snapped at her and told her with an attitude that she didn't need to stand there and that the drink would be brought out. We sat back down and waited over 15 minutes, even though we had placed the request before other customers started coming in. Then the cashier came back and asked for our order again, also with attitude, as if it had never been taken. When the replacement drink finally came, it was just dropped off at the table without a word. As a same-sex couple and also being Hispanic, we did not feel welcomed here at all. The looks and overall energy made us feel uncomfortable and out of place. I hate leaving negative reviews, but between the poor drinks, mediocre food, and some of the worst customer service I've experienced at a coffee shop, I will not be coming back. A complete waste of money.

If this place lowered the cost considerably, they might sell some of this stuff. The Buddha, and other statues in my picture, is over $500 just like most of the other large pots sitting outside forever. Come off the price. People will buy. And so on... it will come back around. Inside was really worse. Upon walk in the damp must was a smack in the face. Costs were ridiculous. Even a vegetable brush was $14? (Just as a reference) I walked the whole store actually trying to find something to buy and walked out shaking my head.

I enjoyed winding my way through the maze of goodies. Some of the things that caught my eye were Polish pottery, pretty reusable tote bags, cheeky kitchen gadgets and funny cocktail napkins. They also had sign art, candles, throw blankets, funny socks, adult greeting cards, yard flags and air plants. It's a very eclectic mix of merchandise. The store is a bit tight in spots so I'd recommend against bringing a gaggle of people, big purse or stroller.

Deliciousness - 3.75/5 Happiness - 5/5…read more Ba Roos has a bunch of ice cream flavors to enjoy. The ice cream was clearly fresh and completely delicious. My kids devoured their sundae in minutes. The prices are very reasonable too for such high quality ice cream. I had a milkshake with brownie ice cream that I wouldn't order again. The milkshake was blended too finely so I didn't get any chunks of brownie. But the finely blended brownie just made the milkshake a bit gritty. Next time I'll stick with the ice cream so I can get the full flavor and textural effect. I also stopped by for a mocha the next day and it was delicious. They did a great job balancing the chocolate and espresso (I like my mochas on the sweeter side). But really, the staff sells this place. They are all young teenagers who were enthusiastic and provided quick service. They never seemed frazzled and despite epically long summer lines. They fulfilled each order with great speed. I also liked that they had two tip jars, one to vote for sharks being the coolest aquatic animal and the other for dolphins (I voted team shark because, I'm sorry, NOTHING is cooler than a shark. I love dolphins but they don't stand a chance).

There is no greeting, no acknowledgement that you're there because they're talking amongst themselves. When you are finally approached , there is no smile just a stare. I've been living here 5 years and it seems to get worse by the year. When I went to pay , I was ignored again. The three of them were talking to someone who had just walked in. I just stood , hating how insolent they were. Eventually I paid and the tall blonde basically threw my cup of ice cream across the counter! If I hadn't caught it , it would have landed on the floor. There are plenty of better places to go.
