There's lots of pavilion seating, and places for kids to run around. Service was quick and friendly, and the portions were huge! My fish fry was 3/4 pound filet! (Available Fridays only). This location has a lot more street noise, but it was pleasant to hear the crickets. Unlike the Yorkshire location, they are open only Fri-Sun, 11-7. Call ahead to reserve your brisket: They often sell out early. 9/5/2025: According to the Pit Master, they will stay open for the season, "As long as possible", depending on the weather.

The ribs were very tasty, but a little over done. I don't mind the charred coating on most bar-b-q, but this had too many burned meat edges. The chicken was OK, not a lot of bar-b-q flavor. All of the sides were pretty good. For $8.00, it was a sizable meal and overall, not bad. The complete menu will also have steak sandwiches, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese. Most businesses that opened here have not survived very long. There has been Mexican and Lebanese style diners, plus pizza and sub shops in this location and I don't think any have been there more than a few years.
