Do not let this very staged before picture fool you, the house had little curb appeal. I wish we had taken a more realistic before picture; it wasn't pretty. Patches of brown grass, dying vegetation, and dirt patches would have been on display. We replaced the dead grass and vegetation with tropical plants that thrive in shade. Plus we removed the old brick boundary around the oak tree with small bushes. Finally we created a beautiful walkway from our sidewalk to driveway. We were very vocal with Henry that we wanted lots of tropical colors present. I will confess that I was slightly demanding throughout the process and Henry responded with the utmost professionalism. As a result, we now have a front yard that far exceeds our expectations. Henry also worked tirelessly to meet our timeframe and budgetary requirements. No need to look for a second quote. Lake Jewel Farms is the ideal vendor for all landscaping projects.

For at least the last couple years, the person who showed us the trees and then packaged and attached it to my car has been an employee rather than actual Gallio family member, but I think there are family members who help with check out. Last year, I think they were cash only, but this year they accept Zelle too, which is better. They have Fraser firs and also some noble firs, but if you want an 8+ ft tree, Fraser is your only option. Last year, our tree had some gaps that weren't apparent on the initial viewing, and the tree didn't quite make it the three weeks between purchase and actual Christmas day, despite adequate water and staying in our temperature-controlled home. This year, our tree is gorgeous. I'll come back and update if it doesn't make it the hoped-for 3 weeks. They have candy canes and some holiday-themed games for the kids. If you don't have a big car and/or don't want to deal with transporation yourself, they do offer local delivery.

They have a huge assortment of all sizes and different types of trees. All the trees are kept in water to keep them fresh. The trees are arranged in order according to size. Everything is labeled size and price. You can also purchase your stand here as well as a wreath. They are all very helpful at Mike's. They will make a fresh cut and trim any branches you request off the bottom. Then they will net it and put it in your car for you. Our tree always looks just as beautiful after the new year as before Christmas!
