The huge wooden table outside is a giveaway for what's to come and you'll notice exceptional designs that come at a price. These folks use real wood and no MDF or Particle Board crap. This is absolutely a premier treasure trove with humongous wood slab samples the same way there are smaller furniture pieces you can grab from the floor. We took a look at the intricate wood detailing and knew we were in the right place. Tried to speak to a floor person but the owner's wife suggested we speak to him directly as he has a better handle on design. He was busy so we scheduled an early Saturday afternoon appt to talk to him about style and price. Mauricio was welcoming, knows his stuff and answered all our questions. But between an extremely hefty kitchen gut job+repair+cabinets+labor, we didn't want to break the bank for a small dining table. So when we gave him measurements for a 5' wood table with black metal legs, we were looking at $3,150. I get it...it's custom made. Eyes wide open. Not ruling these folks out yet. Even if you don't buy anything, it's a great place to get lost for a couple of hours.

The store is small, but has a decent selection and the owner Juan is very accommodating. We found a quality bedroom set we liked and ended up ordering a bed, mattress, large dresser and night stands. Pricing was competitive. Delivery was seamless - the two delivery guys arrived on time and expertly assembled the bed and set up the furniture. I highly recommend this store.

The store attendant/owner was incredibly rude to my partner - a polite inquiry about the price of a piece and any possible discount was met with an exaggerated exclamation of "No! No!" and being instructed with a bit of a condescending tone to put the piece back. A far kinder and more respectful response would have been more appropriate, welcoming, and effective (something like the following would have been more called for: 'no, I'm sorry that is the price I must sell it for, let me know if you're still interested or if i can show you another piece at your price point'). After the reaction, as my partner was putting the piece back and we were already moving toward the door leaving, the attendant/owner half-heartedly offered the piece could still be had (for the stated price), but the damage was already done. Though it is hard to know for certain, and she could have been having a bad day or have this character with everyone and would like to give benefit of the doubt, it is possible that there were some unconscious racial dynamics involved as my partner is a Person of Color. My partner felt deeply embarrassed/humiliated and upset - and the incident left a bad taste. Warning to others and suggest the owner/attendant to examine their behavior toward customers and to treat them with respect and kindness.

He and the day laborors he hired swore it was a three day project which is unheard of in such a small space. "On average 1,000 sq feet of vinyl flooring by a two man crew with little to no issues takes 1-2 days! However, my floors are more uneven, the baseboard molding was never completed! In those expensive three days despite me removing all the flooring beforehand, taking their garbage to the dumpster and removing most of my furniture for "less labor costs" and yet they did not finish the two hours of work. How long would it have taken if I didn't move a finger? Two weeks?? Look at the pictures of the work. I got average product planks (Alex swore were thicker and a better lock but it was the same inexpensive planks I wanted from Home Depot) 3 full days to get installed by day laborers and was not finished! Remodeling my bathroom with an electrician, plumber, tile guy and general contractor was three days and less than 5,000. I am quite sure the judge will side with me after I show the pics and what I paid! Because I have no issues with paying a $100 court fee and letting a court decide.

John the…read moredesigner made several mistakes in our kitchen and bathrooms. their installer was the former owner and gossips about all the other homeowners they currently work with. They wont complete the work because we made a punch list of all their mistakes. We paid them for the entire kitchen and 1/2 the installation fee and they still wont come back . They are holding our panels for 2 refrigerators (paid for already) . The glass inserts we picked also wrong , the company they used for the glass mirror was very nasty when we told them this was not what we ordered. John does not communicate well . He does not text back or answer his phone once you sign a contract. The cabinet company he uses Superior Wood Craft in PA also rushed us because they needed room for their holiday party. I cant tell you how many mistakes John made with Placement of the Lighting, and electrical outlets , we had to eliminate or redesign. They will never take responsibility for mistakes. Also the crown molding was to be installed in the entire kitchen but his installer said if there is no cabinet in that area we don't install. but we have 2 windows over the counter? we had to hire another carpenter to finish the work over the windows near sink. also the crown was to be painted by the Cabinet Manufacturer (Never Happened) WE WANT OUR PANELS BACK, We hired a lawyer after numerous attempts to reach out to John. we are now going to court.

Furniture Share House fit the bill. I had heard about this organization. It gives the furniture to families in need. I made an appointment for their van to pick up my pieces. They came in a timely manner and loaded everything. A $50 donation is suggested to cover the cost to pick up and you get a tax donation form. All good!
