OMG I'm loving this hotel ever since I reserved their fitness room via Classpass! The colorful cottage ambiance speaks to my character. Plus, it's located next to Google campus. I got lost on my way to check in as a first timer. A male staff member who I walked by, kindly guided me to the front desk which is located inside a glasshouse. Checking in was simple: I had to signed a physical waiver form, show my valid ID for the key card, and be guided to the gym from the front desk staff. I had the whole garage-style luxury gym to myself for an whole hour. They got Peloton bikes, yoga /pilates equipment, nice set of bars and weights like Equinox meets Planet Fitness. Too bad they don't have the booty machine, so I had to improvise with weights. After my workout, I got breakfast at the Backyard Cafe. The oatmeal was good, and the smoothie was too sweet for me. However, dining in was relaxing, and there's free wifi to work remotely. They close early at 2 pm. Overall, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I would love to book a staycation on my birthday or any special occasion to access their full amenities and brunch at Valley Goat.

I came in and visited the super cute lobby. So much personality and the front desk gal was so nice to offer to take a picture of us. Nice merch offered and there is a puzzle table also... could not help taking a picture of that. Please come and create your own adventure.

Totally loved our staycation! Absolutely loved every detail that was put into this hotel. Even the hubby said to stay here every year during Christmas! Although it was raining, we managed to keep our booking. Once we got there, they had valet. The hotel is across Google. It had a couple restaurants that you can go to. The Valley Goat was crowded and definitely need to check them out next time. Their gym is amazing and so much room! The rooms are decorated with playful decor everywhere. Kind of like being in a treehouse with nostalgic feeling. The lobby has a buggy car decorated with grass and flowers. The kid in me was happy! Would definitely come back during the summer!

This place is absolutely incredible! Every detail has been thoughtfully designed -- from the décor to the layout -- making it a charming and picture-perfect hotel. The staff couldn't be more welcoming, accommodating, and attentive. The property itself feels like a lush oasis, surrounded by greenery, fruit trees, herbs, and vibrant plants that bring the outdoors to life. Our room was too stinkin' cute!!! It felt like a cozy treehouse brought indoors, blending relaxation and sophistication perfectly. I will let the photos speak for themselves. We had brunch at Valley Goat, and I suggest making reservations early. The space is bright, full of plants and whimsical décor, creating such a cheerful atmosphere. The menu isn't extensive, but the food was good. The "greenhouse" lobby even features an adorable VW bug draped in greenery and flowers, and there are Tesla superchargers conveniently on site. It's a wonderful getaway for families -- furry friends included. And if you're celebrating something special, be sure to let them know; they will go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable and extraordinary!

Review #936 Posted on 9.21.25 We stated the night here on Saturday the 20th. This place is super unique & nice. It's right off of 237 in Santa Clara, minutes from Levi's Stadium. This place has this almost outdoor woods like theme, inside & out. The rooms are extremely detailed when you pay attention to them. Everything from the nightstand, to lights, to bedding, everything, it all blends into the treehouse/woods theme. The outdoor is the same, they've got tons of activities & things to do. Outdoor seating for the family, or work gatherings, you name it. The way everything seems close is also a cool feature, they make the grounds feel like anything you want to do is a mere steps away. They've also got a restaurant & a bar cart you can walk up to & order drinks from, the Bay Area famous Nate Dogg serving the cocktails. I would stay here again over & over. It's beyond perfect if you're going to an event at Levi's, stay and take the VTA.

The feel is like a playground for adults, except designer grade. It's your place if you enjoy the outdoors. This would be a great choice for the spring when the weather warms up. It feels like someone thought up of what you've wanted all along and had been missing.

We didn't stay overnight, but our impromptu visit to dine at Valley Goat turned into something far more delightful. From the moment we stepped into the hotel's registration area, we were charmed by its spacious, airy layout and playful touches--vintage rotary phones, whimsical art, and little nods to nature everywhere. The lobby strikes the perfect balance between imaginative and inviting, making you feel like you've wandered into a grown-up treehouse retreat. And yes--the LOVE BUG is the perfect backdrop for a fun selfie! The property itself is full of surprises: a breezy Backyard Café ideal for sipping wine or lounging, and a stunning poolside area with sunlit cabanas and cozy fire pits--perfect for lazy afternoons or casual gatherings. Out of curiosity, I explored the hotel's website and instantly fell in love with the thoughtful design of the guest rooms--nature-inspired décor, private patios or balconies, and hidden nooks that invite you to pause and stay awhile. Hopefully my family and I will get the chance to experience an overnight stay soon, because this place truly feels like a destination of its own.

Valley Goat restaurant headed by Stephanie Izard.

IMHO Cool new hotel in Silicon Valley! We drove in to check out Stephanie Izard's new restaurant located within the property, "Valley Goat". Got lost trying to find our way in but after driving around in circles, we eventually found parking behind the hotel near the large bank of Tesla Chargers! Next time, just drive into the hotel valet area and head to self-parking! We walked into what appeared like a giant glass greenhouse. We soon learned that we had walked into the hotel registration area! This is the most whimsical registration ever! We were welcomed very kindly, even though we weren't guests, but just curious travelers. Tree house, nature and so much more are the themes throughout the hotel property, which is elegant, woody and beautifully landscaped, and fun! There's a giant beer pong game on the grounds, plus play areas for the kids, and picnic tables amidst garden pots with growing herbs. The hotel buildings are no higher than three floors (I think). I would've loved to see the rooms, but I think they probably follow a unique natural theme. The first-floor rooms enjoy a lovely lanai with colorful lounge chairs facing the enclosed pool area and walkways. Since this is an open area hotel, we saw uniformed security people walking around. They weren't obtrusive at all, but visible at times. We know where Valley Goat is now, for a future dining experience!

Best Dog-Friendly Hotel in The Bay! Dogs stay for free. =)
    Cherylynn N.

"There he is....Welcome Tater Tot!" When they know your dog's name but not yours, I know we are in the RIGHT place! Only dog owners will understand. Opening last week, this is Treehouse Hotel's first U.S. location. This Europe based brand with locations in London and Manchester is the BEST dog-friendly hotel in the Bay. Welcome dog treats, plushy dog bed, bag of dog treats, food + water bowls, dog bandana, etc. Best of all...dogs stay for FREE! In this economy? Pet fees usually range from $50-$250 so this is a win for dog owners. C O N C E P T Treehouse Hotel is inspired by childhood treehouses. Whimsical and playful. L O C A T I O N Located in a business park, steps from Google's Sunnyvale Campus. The only drawback is it isn't very walkable. DT Sunnyvale is about 2.5 miles away (~9 minute drive). BUT, there's no need to leave the hotel with their dining options. D E A L S There's 8 deals. I took advantage of the "First Dibs" deal which offered up to 30% off room rate, free room upgrade, late check-out, and a $50 dining credit. T H E G R O U N D S Treehouse Hotel took over the old Sheraton hotel and they did an amazing job with the transformation. There's three dining options, a beer garden with large scale games (connect four), meeting/event spaces, 24/7 rec center (w/ peloton bikes, weekly fitness classes), and more. There's a nice pool with a hot tub and cabanas but it wasn't open during our stay. D I N I NG No complimentary breakfast and currently, no room service. (1) Backyard Café Open for breakfast and lunch: Breakfast sandwiches and BYO lunch bowls. Array of grab 'n go items. Didn't try. (2) Beer Garden Over 30 beers on tap, wings, sausages, and pizza. We tried their Wood Fired Wings, Lemon Pepper and Cajun (10 pc - $17) which were meaty, well-spiced, and delicious. Their Hot Dogs and Sausages w/ housemade chips ($12-$13) hit the spot! (3) Valley Goat Their crown jewel serving New American Cuisine with global influences from Stephanie Izard, the first female to win Top Chef and a James Beard Award winning chef. A destination resto, you won't find anything like this in Silicon Valley. Separate review to come. R O O M We stayed in Room E106, the Patio King with a front view of the pool. Perfectly appointed and so freakin' cute! Cabin meets treehouse vibes. (+) Comfy king bed with plushy but firm pillows. (+) Great design with cute and thoughtful touches like snake book lights, motion sensor bathroom light, rotary phone, and vinyl records. (+) Rainfall shower had good temperature and pressure. (+) Retro mini fridge and Nepresso machine. Filtered water station at the end of the hallway entrance. (+) HD Smart TV. Fast and consistent WiFi. (+) Lots of outlets and bedside USB outlets. (+) Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion had a pleasant smell. Soft towels. (+) Robes, slippers, iron, ironing board, safe, and cordless lighted vanity mirror. (+) Quiet a/c. (-) No handle to pull dresser door open so be careful of breaking a nail. (-) No patio gates. S E R V I C E 5+ star hospitality from hotel staff. I wasn't able to get everyone's name but everyone from valet, front desk, and housekeeping were super kind and welcoming. Shout out to Amy, Renaldo, and Nate (Beer Garden) for your awesome hospitality. Always appreciate a welcome note. Also, received a tote and reusable canteen. P A R K I N G $25 self parking or $30 valet. Plenty of Tesla charges. Overall, we loved our stay at Treehouse Hotel and I already booked another one for next month's staycation!

I didn't stay here so can't give an informed review of the rooms but I enjoyed their facilities for an all day working offsite. The service is terrific. Every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and chic-savant eclectically decorated. I'm going to call this an oasis in the middle of an industrial Silicon Valley area. When you arrive in the lobby turnaround, valets immediately greet you and help TL with your bags. The Valley Goat restaurant has a delicious Asian fusion fare and once again great service and aesthetic appeal. More details to come when I get to that specific review. I wish I had time to try the beer garden but perhaps the next opportunity I get to visit. They have some nice outside seating and a small corn hole game. Just to pass the time or while you wait to be seated at the Goat. I didn't get to try the pool but it looked beautiful. The collaboration conference rooms are once again beautifully aesthetic and whimsical, including wooden furniture, a cotton candy machine, and in one room, an old school table video game. Great large flat screen was viewable from all sides and natural light flooded the room to keep you alert and attached to nature. Overall, a great find. I believe it's a fairly new facility as of May 2025.

    One Bedroom Suite
    Livi L.

Our stay at Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley was absolutely wonderful. We booked the One Bedroom Suite, which felt like a true retreat. Two patios surrounded by lush greenery, a cozy living room with thoughtful touches, and views overlooking the pool made it feel like being in an elevated sanctuary among the trees. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and spending the afternoon by the pool before heading to the Beer Garden. It happened to be Oktoberfest, which made it extra fun and lively. The space had such a welcoming, relaxed energy. Later, we enjoyed dinner at Valley Goat, and every dish was memorable. We shared the goat empanadas, the sticky pork shank, and the skirt steak with chili lime sauce. Each plate was rich in flavor and beautifully balanced. For dessert, we had a seasonal pumpkin spice creation that was the perfect finish. We paired our meal with the Girl and the Goat 2022 Walla Walla Valley Red Wine, which was incredible. Smooth, earthy, and full-bodied, it matched the meal perfectly. This was our second visit, and every experience keeps getting better. From the bell team to the front desk, everyone was warm, attentive, and gracious. Special thanks to Yasemin, Yuka, and the entire Treehouse team for making us feel cared for from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Treehouse is a place that feels alive. The greenery, the design, the energy, and the people all make it feel like home in the middle of Silicon Valley. We will absolutely be back for our third stay and many more. Livi + Ray

Ask the Community - Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley

Are the rooms actually built into the trees like treehouses?

No. There are no actual tree houses. The tree house thing is more like a design theme. It's a truly beautiful hotel, and it's a lot of fun to stay at. But if you want to stay in an actual tree house, you'd better try Airbnb or VRBO!

Does this place have tvs to watch sporting events?

Yes. There is a TV in every room!

I was impressed before I even arrived because the check in process on the app let me select a room that I wanted while showing me where the icemakers and elevators were. Being able to avoid them was was much appreciated. The property felt fairly new to me. While my room was overall very nice, I really disliked one part of it. There was just one tiny table with one chair. I don't know how a couple would be expected to eat in here. Also, a computer desk like Residence Inn usually provides was desperately wanted. Having to juggle eating and work on this one tiny table was quite annoying. Otherwise, the room was quite solid. The refrigerator was a nice size and having a good deal of kitchen countertop space was nice. There even was a toaster! The exterior amenities were kind of so-so. The pool was extremely tiny. While there was a good deal of sitting space on an outdoor patio that had a barbecue, there was absolutely no shade, and I would think it would be miserable to sit out there during the day. The gym was small, but I was actually impressed with it. Any hotel that has dumbbells that go up to 75 pounds is definitely in the minority. They also had a Peloton bike or two and several treadmills along with a pullup station. I was quite impressed with the breakfast. Lots of choices and several freshly made dishes were always available. One thing I have to mention is the pricing. While this hotel is obviously not the only one that has prices that fluctuate depending on demand, the room rates varied drastically for the days that I stayed there. It wouldn't stop me from staying here again, but it is worth mentioning. Overall I was quite happy with my stay here.
