We fully enjoyed our Treehouse stay! Husband & I stayed this past weekend for our anniversary. Loved the accommodations of the treehouse. It was everything we expected when we saw the episode on Treehouse Masters. Clean, well decorated, and the bed was super comfy. Loved the fire pit next to the pond, just wish the weather had been a little warmer at night so we could have stayed out longer. Breakfasts were great, and the owners Mike & Ginger were super nice. The main house was also very charming. With its big family room with tv, games, & puzzles, billiards room with bar area, and large covered back patio to sit and watch the all the birds. While we packed a little too much to do in our weekend, we are already thinking about booking another weekend, staying in the main house, to take more time to just sit & relax on the back deck. read more

We have been fans of Treehouse Masters for a long time. When we saw that the show had built a treehouse within driving distance of where we live and it was not a private one but one that you could rent we jumped at the chance to check it off of our bucket list. I never in a million years thought that we would be able to see one of Pete Nelsons' tree houses in person let alone to actually stay in one. The Inn is located in a beautiful spot in South Newfane, VT and the owners are everything you would want in an owner of a bed and breakfast. They are friendly and gracious and most of all very good cooks. If you get a chance to stay at their Inn I highly recommend it. It will be a memory that I will cherish the rest of my life. Fantastic. That's really all there is to say. You get exactly what you're signing up for: A Pete Nelson treehouse, just like on TV. It's perfect and beautiful and stylish and modern and comfortable and warm, even on the coldest Thanksgiving ever. So, if that's what you're looking for, you're going to get it. The hosts were wonderful, giving us dinner recommendations, telling us stories about the construction, and providing a great eggs and bacon breakfast in the morning. There's not really a ton to nitpick here. We will definitely be back, probably sometime in the summer, to see the views change. But if you want to stay in an incredibly unique property, this is the one to try. read more

This little hidden gem is neatly tucked away down a beautiful, winding road in the quaint village of South Newfane, VT. The draw to this lodging is the famous treehouse in the back that was built by the Treehouse Masters; however, our nights stay was in the Spruce Suite inside the Inn complete with a comfortable bed, hot in suite shower, fireplace, and television. Our favorite part was visiting with our gracious hosts Mike and Ginger. They are a truly down to earth couple and wonderful chefs!!! My husband, Troy and I highly recommend this establishment, but stay and extra night so that you can visit some of the local businesses while you're there! read more

The treehouse was absolutely fantastic! We came here to celebrate a birthday in November. The weather was cool but the treehouse was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed every moment we spent there and our breakfast was amazing. Mike went out of his way to come up with something not typically on the menu - a vegan burrito! He was so excited to cook something new and we loved that he was up to the challenge. We loved his cooking and his personality! We were beyond impressed with everything about the innkeepers and the treehouse. Very special place that we can't wait to visit again!! Highly recommended. read more

My family and I stayed at the Treehouse Village Inn over President's weekend. Upon arrival after a whole day of skiing, we found that we did not have a reservation. My husband had mistakenly booked for the wrong month. Despite not having the correct reservation over an extremely busy vacation week, the innkeeper did everything she could and helped us out. We had a very nice comfortable stay with a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The Inn and location are beautiful. We had a blast at this wonderful place!!! It was my husbands 50th birthday December 14 and what a way to celebrate by staying in a treehouse. Our friends who joined in the fun stayed in the main house which was so beautiful and felt like your home away from home. It is a family run inn and what wonderful and kind people. Steve was my contact person and always had an answer to my questions of where to shop, eat or just grab a cocktail. Every morning Mike and Ginger served us a fantastic country breakfast. Beautiful Southern Vermont, rural, quiet, friendly helpful staff and an amazing Inn and TREEHOUSE. Who could ask for anything more? A chance to unplug though there is WiFi . No cell service to speak of but I got used to that quickly. There were three of us: 2 in the treehouse, 1 in the Inn. The Inn has a beautiful large bedroom , king bed, full bath. The treehouse is amazing. 2 floors, bath, wrap around deck, livingroom , small kitchen , overlooking a pond. Life doesn't get better! I'm definitely going back. read more

My wife and I had a wonderful experience here, one of the best we've had at any bed and breakfast. The owners Mike and Ginger were warm and welcoming. The place has a expansive and beautiful backyard, where you could easily spend a peaceful morning sipping tea/coffee, sitting on a rocking chair, and watching birds come to the birdfeeders. We stayed in the Oak room of the inn and slept well. The breakfast in the morning was great! My wife and I were already talking about coming back at some point. read more

Absolutely amazing experience at Treehouse Villiage Inn! The rooms are comfortable, bright, and clean, and with great amenities (Smart TV, gas fireplace) making you feel right at home. The shared living areas included a pool table, fireplace, guitars, board games, all in a warm, comfortable, welcoming inn with incredible service and an amazing homemade breakfast! Location was perfect - 20 min from Mt Snow and just minutes from great restaurants. The inn was beautiful and we cannot wait to return! read more

My first time ever staying in a tree house and it was truly magical! My family had such a great fall foliage weekend. The family who owns the place were amazing hosts and made us all feel right at home... Steven -- the innkeeper -- was especially helpful in pointing us towards all the divine swimming holes nearby and even told us about a great jam band to go see in Brattleboro. Never heard of electric jazz before, but now the whole family is hooked! Will definitely be back soon! read more

This place was great! My girlfriend and I went for fall foliage (which is fantastic to see) and the Inn didn't disappoint either. We stayed in the Spruce Room. A charming room with a king size bed and full private bathroom. The owners were very hospitable and cook a mean breakfast. Next time we will try and stay in the Treehouse, if we can. The treehouse Village Inn is wonderful! The treehous and the Inn rooms superb... clean comfortable and elegantly cozy! The Inn staff are friendly and inviting... also very helpful! Being there in January you can ski, snowshoe or cross country ski... we also visited a gin tasting, cheese tasting event and glass blowing. Fun stuff! This was the most wonderful and unique stay- we absolutely loved it and cannot wait to come back! The owners are so friendly and helpful- from dinner recommendations, to helping us with the snowshoes to the wonderful breakfast- you cannot ask for more! This was our first time spending the night in a "treehouse". Unbelievable experience!! Very romantic setting, beautifully appointed, and spacious too!!! My favorite place in Vermont to visit and stay! This inn is so cozy and comfortable, each room is inviting in its own way. It has a bar, a pond, a dining area and a treehouse you can actually book to stay in. Imagine how beautiful spring, summer, fall and yes even winter is in this beautiful true New England town. We stayed in the treehouse and it was a lot of fun! The Treehouse was very private and cozy, it really gave a one of a kind experience all while being equipped with modern amenities such as Heat/AC and a full bathroom. A wonderful relaxing time...in a TREEHOUSE for adults! Cozy sleeping in the loft and beautiful living room with fireplace. Cooked to order breakfast was filling and so many choices.
