Pros: -after our initial issue the younger guy was very personable, pleasant and helpful. Cons: -The initial issue was that they are charging $100 f'ing dollars for a transfer. When I suggested the two of us leave the older guy goes "Transfers are $100 everywhere man, I don't know where you've been" This is complete bull****. Don't waste your time. When I tried to buy.22 Ammo for target they tried to charge me 48 dollars a box of fifty rounds of that Fiocchi crap. You're kidding. I said. He wasn't. Says -hard to come by. The nine millimeter ammo was worse over sixty for a box of fifty rounds.This was Federal top of the line , but still way overpriced There is no parking here by the way. This used to be a good shop. Prices were a little high, but given the area still reasonable. Staff was helpful and informative. A year ago a transfer here cost $35. Today it is $100, and prices on everything are 30-50% above the already insane pandemic pricing. Go anywhere else. read more

I went to king supply in kop where I was racially profiled for buying a gun to practice my shooting with so they didn't sell it to me. I drove 12 minutes away and came to treeline for the first time. $100 TRANSFER FEE! Pretty hefty if you ask me. Also ammo is expensive at almost a $1/rd for 38 special. Nice staff but prices are high.

Buyers be aware, there is some serious price gouging going on at this store!!! Prices are doubled if not tripled than anywhere else. If you want reasonable and fair prices go to the store down the street as this is not it. This place will take advantage of you! I guess if you have never been inside a gun shop you wouldn't know the difference between a good shop and a great shop. Just looking around and figured I would see what they had big mistake figured a used gun at 199.00 would be a good judge of the service they have. Gun was fine nothing special which is what I would expect from a low end gun so that part was good. The 100.00 pending fee is expected just incase it doesn't get approved however the charge of 103.50 was a surprise and then when I go to pick up the gun I get told I have to park infront of the shop I hope there are never 2 people who want to shop because one of the spots is taken so the employee doesn't have to walk to far. God forbid a customer park infront of the laundry mate. The Laundry mat doesn't have a issue with it as much as the female at the shop does. Back to the purchase I felt like I was buying a car with all the added cost who would have expected a 199.00 gun ending up being north of 230.00. Had I known that I would have just went to American Arms out the door for the same model brand new is 285.00. I guess I am just used to the price of the PICS being put into the price as its always the same and not having to pay the 3.5% fee for using my debit card. Oh I almost forgot the 5 dollar service fee also added to the bill. Not sure what service the girl with dyed hair did but oh well. If I could have just gotten my money back and not purchased the gun I would have. Thank goodness for American Arms and Ammo they keep my faith that there are great shops out there with great customer service. I've been into the shop about 3 times now. Jeff (owner) was great. I was able to purchase a new edc. During all my visits Jeff was pleasant and made me feel welcomed in his shop. The store can get a bit busy but he has his very capable daughter by his side to help out. If you are a new carrier I would recommend stopping by Treeline on a weekday morning and spending some time with Jeff. He is knowledgeable and will walk you through the process. Oh Treeline also has a customer rewards program. Yes, ammo is high right now. Ammo is at a premium in every gun shop so don't hold that against them. read more

So this was my first time at Treeline sports and now I know why I've driven past this place so many times and not stopped. Contrary to the other review, I did not have an overly pleasant experience here. The gentlemen that helped me out was very attentive, asked me if I had questions, needed anything else, got my paperwork done quickly, and is the only reason they achieved more than one star. The part of the experience that was unfavorable was a young woman (that apparently worked there) who sat in a chair the entire time I was there. Once I came in and said I had ordered an item from Buds, she went into this whole story about I was supposed to fill out a piece of paperwork (which was not mentioned on the seller's website) when I order something from them. From what she said it seems that they have been having a lot of problems with online orders. I appreciate the information, but the company's problems are not really my concern. It was very accusatory in nature and made me feel like I had done something wrong, even though I knew nothing about what she was talking about. I have ordered several items online in this manner and never had any sort of problem. After she finished, I went back to my paperwork and as I was about to pay my transfer fee, she proceeded to condescendingly tell me that the transfer fee was going to go up to $50 shortly because of Buds undercutting their distributors, etc. Basically she was barking at me in a manner I find to be inappropriate, having worked in customer service for 12+ years, I would not speak to someone in this manner. It is pretty funny that I have been to a ton of gun stores over the years where the dimly lit atmosphere and grizzled old man behind the counter would lead to you believe customer service was not evident, but was always the contrary. Yet in this store, the younger person working there was the one who felt it was necessary to make me feel bad about spending money there, even if I was only there to do a transfer. Beyond the unfavorable conversations I experienced, this store seemed pretty dilapidated and they didn't really have much of a selection. I'd probably shop here over French Creek (if I had too), but I still like the people and selection at Insite Firearms better. read more

Excellent customer service. They really do know their stuff. For a small shop, they have a great selection of long guns and pistols. They're also a Glock "Blue Line" dealer so if you are Law Enforcement, a First Responder, or a GSSF member, you can purchase at the "Blue Label" dealer. read more

I came to Treeline Sports to purchase a firearm. I never owned a gun but had always wanted to get one. The gentleman who helped me was very patient. He took the time to show me numerous guns. I had one picked out from the website - but he slowed me down and we finally came upon one that was right for me. A 9mm Glock. Other people came in and were waiting but Peter did not rush me one bit. As a first time gun owner he showed me the proper way to load - how to take the gun apart to clean it - etc etc. Was going to buy a H and K but found out it was a used gun - the yellow tags mean used. Wanted a new one. It was a great experience. I would go back for a smaller weapon if I get a concealed carry license. read more

A while ago, I ordered a gun online. When I stopped to pick it up, I was in a rush and never opened the box. A couple of days later when I had the time, I sat down, opened it and found to my surprise a Massachusetts and California compliant weapon which I did not want. I phoned the shop 1 st thing on Monday, explained my issue. The young lady working there said there was a chance her distributor couldn't do anything about it, but to bring the gun in and let her speak to him when he came by on a sales call. Several days later she phoned me, told me the distributor would exchange the gun, no charge and no cost shipping. They understood how I made the mistake when ordering online. The only additional charge was the required additional background check due to it being another transfer. I will use them over any other gun store in the area due to the way she handled my issue and how I was treated for my error! read more
