Had trees trimmed. They broke outdoor lights.and said nothing. When they repaired them they did a poor job taped the wires,and said the ripped wires would last once taped. I've used this company for a few years now and they are wonderful. When I first called, they sent out an Arborist. My trees were reviewed and they now get regular treatments and trimming. Arborist still come to make sure treatments and trims are needed. They have saved my trees and I wouldn't have anyone else. Prices are very fair, and they are the ones who check with me to see if I need anything. They are always within a 30 min. window for an appt. I definitely recommend them. These guys are great if you just need a basic trimming or removal. If you need anything else they're largely useless as they seem incapable of following simple directions. The first time we had them out they were trimming some trees and were supposed to remove a dead one. The trees looked nice but they forgot to remove the dead one. The next time we asked them to come give us an opinion on whether one of our trees was killed by bugs or by sunburn from overtrimming (by a different company). They gave is a quote to remove the tree and nothing else. The wind a couple days ago partially knocked over one of our trees so we had them out to give us a quote on how much it would cost to save the tree. This was communicated to the office as well as in person and yet we only received a quote for removal. We'll be finding a different company with people that actually listen. read more

My residential property in Peoria Arizona has 14 mature queen palm trees. For the past seven years I have been trying to keep them green and free of brown palm fronds and "frizzy" palm fronds. Last year I noticed a couple of the trees appeared to be in distress and two smaller ones quickly died. I received a flyer in the mail for "trees for needs" and gave them a call. I had a free consultation and recommendation to fertilize the trees and give some anti-fungal treatments to three of them. As they will tell you with palm trees, you may not see an immediate positive reaction to the treatments; however, in three months I can tell you I have new growth and all of my trees are looking very healthy. I would rather pay for professional fertilizer treatments than to have to pay for a removal and replacement of a mature tree. These guys were great! We have a Jacuranda tree in the front yard that was in need of being cut back. They were very responsive and cost effective. Kerry and Kory were very professional and communication was excellent throughout the process of removing one of our tall white pines. Andy provided the initial details of the process, including the company's insurance information so we were at ease about coverage if something went wrong. This is the second time I have had Trees for Needs out to the house. The first time they took out two damaged trees. They were actually at the house before I was and had the trees down, cleaned up and were gone. Excellent! A few weeks later the stump grinder guy came out and got rid of the stump. This time they trimmed up an African Sumac. These guys are fast and on time. The foreman checked with me to see what I wanted and bam, his guys attacked the tree and cleaned up all at the same time. On 2/1/2022: Carl and Joe came to my home: listened to what I'd previously had done and what I anticipated being done, inspected all my trees and gave me a very fair price I couldn't refuse. On 2/4/2022: The tree crew: Andres, Jorge, Hever, Jason, and Josue, arrived and went to work like a well-oiled machine. Within less than 2 hours had removed a huge Sissoo tree from my front yard and a plum tree from the backyard, scored and poured stump rot in Sissoo stump, trimmed out 3 citrus trees and cleaned up all the debris front and back. I have a young backyard tree that nearly toppled last summer due to a monsoon storm - it was leaning at a 45-degree angle for several days, before my gardener pushed it upright and cabled it to the ground. Unfortunately the cable rusted, and broke a couple of weeks before the first big storm of Monsoon 2017, which happened last Sunday night. By sunrise on Monday, the tree was leaning again, and another bad storm was in the forecast. I feared one more storm would be the end of this tree. I have waited for over a year to post this because of what Carl told me and that was "In a year the tree will be fine" Well the tree is NOT fine and has been in shock since his company did a number on my Tangelo tree April 8, 2016. My meeting with Carl was that they were to structure the crown, which they did not, leave interior and lower growth, which they did not. All this was written in the contract. Instead they sawed branches off, cut interior growth, raised the pruning level so high you could not reach any fruit bearing branches, of which there has been none for 2 years because of the butcher job on our tree. When Carl came out to look at the job that he had promised me there would be a Certified Arborist on site, which was not the case, we got instead 3 non-english speaking men that would not or could not communicate with me. I contacted Carl, and he came to see what I was concerned about. Carl said he would not charge us for the job (405.00) until the following year when I could see that they did not injure the tree and it would be much healthier by then. AND that he would return and check the tree to see that it was doing fine. That has never happened. We were charged, of course, and we paid, of course and have never heard or seen him again, OF COURSE. I see many glowing reviews, perhaps he has changed his business tactics and either took some much needed refresher classes, and now hires responsible help. read more

BEWARE!! DO NOT HIRE THEM! I had Andy come out and give me an estimate for trimming 12 citrus trees and 4 fruit trees. He said they were very good at trimming citrus trees. He also said he would be with them with they came. When they did come, he wasn't there. His guys went so fast, I didn't have time to say anything about anything. They BUTCHERED my trees. They left the water sprouts and suckers, and trimmed true branches. They exposed so much tree trunk, I have to white paint way up the trees. They left long tall branches with too many small branches on the end, like a pom pom on the end of a stick. I told him all this and he came and said they did it right because the trees would recover in a few years. I called the office, and they sent Josue out. Josue told me I was right, they trimmed it wrong, and that he was so sorry they had done this. Today, Alice called me and said Josue filed a report that said the trees were done right. So he lied, TO MY FACE. Alice also said that if I didn't pay my entire $700 bill, she was sending me to legal. I told her I'd be happy to pay for the trees they did correctly. I have spent hours trying to fix what they did wrong, and believe 7 were done wrong and required my re-addressing the trimming. I tried to make it right by offering to pay for the other trees that were done well enough. She YELLED at me, was SO mean, SO abusive on the phone, called out my character and that I was "that kind of customer" and refused my offer to pay for what was done right. She has threatened to send me to legal. I was looking for help and feel betrayed and defrauded. They are a bait and switch company! BEWARE! This company does crap work and then threatens to give you legal trouble if you don't pay anyway. read more
